I have went to Family Barbershop since 1966 and have enjoyed knowing Jerry since he opened. A few years later Roger started and the 2 of them had a prospering business. It has always been my place to go. Jerry passed away a few years ago and now Roger has retired, he has sold the building. He will be missed. Now there is a new guy leasing the building and cutting hair. He has a lot to learn. He doesn’t listen to what you say. He does NOT know how to cut a flattop, and his language and comments are not necessary. If you don’t know how to do a cut then tell the customer that, don’t mess up their hair. By chance if you go, get the young lady to do your cut, she seems to have a good skill level for cutting hair. Everyone needs to learn and build their skills, but they also listen to the customer and do as they ask. I wish the new barber luck in raising his barbering skills it just won’t be on me.
