Helen nails hasn’t let me down yet. The nails last long, and they take their time. Most salons focus on decor but not the longevity of the nails!! This place is a hidden gem. I usually get long acrylic nails with no chip pedicures. I always get tested so nicely I will be a forever customer.
I had an appointment at 6pm and they didn't see me until close to 630. Then they were speaking on their headphones while doing my nails, and being extremely rude when speaking to me. Lastly, the cherry on top was that my nails was filed on an angle and crooked. I asked her to fix it she said it was my nail and could not be fixed. Below is the picture of the worst nail, crooked and not filed cleanly. Totally ridiculous. She was in a hurry to get the other customers since they were running about an hour behind. I've never had this issue or type of service anywhere else. Extremely disappointed.
In love with my nails ???? Lisa is amazing. Every time I go in I always show her a picture of the nails I want and she always makes them exactly the same. I’ve gone to other places and they would always make an excuse to not do the design. I’m so happy that I found Lisa.
If you’re looking for someone to leave your nails fabulous ???? ask for Lisa you will not regret it.
This is how my nail looks since I had it done a week ago, this happens because the girl who did it for me was in a hurry to get more clients and didn't seal the polish well. Anyway, I went back to try to get a spot available with Lisa, the manager told me that she would be at the salon at 12:30 p.m. Ok, I left and decided to come back minutes later to find a spot with someone else available, and this other girl took my polish off and rushed to do my nails: I told her: “no, I prefer to wait a bit”. more time, before I get my manicure wrong like last time,” she said, “I'll be with you in 30 minutes as soon as I finish this pedicure.
So I decided left. The only one person that I rescued from that place is Lisa. she shouldn’t be working in there. She is amazing , the rest , bad service and bad job ????????????????????????
I will not be back at Helen’s Nails. I’ve been there 3 times too many and every time there’s an issue.
The owner has an attitude and he’s very rough with your nails. I’ve left with my nails throbbing twice. Plus there’s only 1 person in the shop that can do acrylics/ gel nails. So you’re constantly being passed around from person to person. This eliminates the relaxation factor of getting your nails done.
My 1st visit. They raised the price after my nails were complete due to the nail shape I chose. Yet never expressed an increase or additional charge at any point during the service. My birthday was 2 weeks away so they said I can have a 15% discount the next service.
I came in 2 weeks later to get my nails done for my birthday. The owner did not want to apply the 15% discount to my service. He gave me attitude when I asked him to apply it several times.
My 3rd visit. Was a year later and owner welcomed me with an attitude. My no chip nails chipped within 24 hours.
Came here for the first time. I love my nails! The techs did an excellent job. Clean and relaxing place and friendly workers. I’ll come back again. Thank you!
I don't like to write bad reviews, but I have to write this. Lisa gave me an extremely bad customer service experience. I scheduled an appointment to do my nails with Lisa. When I got there, she was doing another client's nail, and I waited for 45mins before I was called by a gentleman there. He started to take off the color on my nails, and prep it while Lisa finished up with the other client. He finished taking off the color, and I sat and waited for Lisa. When she finished, she called me up to her seat. She asked if I picked a color, and I showed her a picture of the nail design I wanted, which was a french tip (black glitter tip, instead of the traditional white). She proceeded to tell me that they don't have black nail polish, and she walked away, and left me sitting. Few minutes later, the gentleman came back and sat at Lisa station, and proceeded to file my nails. I asked if Lisa was coming back, and he told me she said she tired, so she can't do my nails. She was tired, but yet she was picking up, cleaning things around the store, and carrying boxes into the room at the back. She completely ignored me, and went about cleaning the store instead. I would have left immediately, but it was around 7:30pm at that time (after all the waiting), there's nowhere else that I could go at that time. And, I had a function very early the next morning. Between the man and another lady in the store, my nails was done, and I must say it was the worst nail job I have had, but I was grateful that they both tried to do what they could. I'm very unhappy with my experience, and I can't even believe that Lisa thought it was okay to treat a customer that way. My mum and I are definitely not going back there again.
Very rude. Seemed like they didn’t want to provide service. They were very rough, seemed like they .Were rushing to get us out (they had no people waiting either). When they would speak in their language seemed like they were directing themselves towards us. Rolling their eyes and just being a bit passive aggressive with their body language. I wish I would’ve read all the reviews prior to going, seems like the manager answers the reviews with the same line, asking to call the salon and for another opportunity to make things right. They should give a complete refund instead. Just an overall bad experience. Wont be going back there.
