New in town was trying to find a new nail home however this place is not it They were very rude. Walked in and was even in there for 5 seconds b4 them and their apparently regular customers glared us with hateful eye as if me and my mom were broke bums. Was told it was a 2 hr wait mind you they only had 3 customers that were in the middle of service so I don't understand how its was still a 2 hr wait
First time patron: Waited 20+ minutes. There were only 4 techs working. Asked for pedi with gel and mani with French manicure, (no gel polish). The tech did not use a foot file, or callus remover, just a pumice sponge. For my natural nail mani, he did not clean under my nails and my nails were jagged and uneven. Despite me saying several times I wanted a French manicure. After he put clear polish on he said he would get back to me, then started on another customer's pedi. They were losing business telling walk-ins of a 20-40minute wait. After about 15 mins I asked if he was going to finish my mani and he asked if I wanted "spray" and said he was done. When I reminded him of my several requests for a French manicure he said he misunderstood and thought I only wanted clear. SIR WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A FRENCH MANICURE? The owner/manager said they could add polish, but at this point, I had things to do and had already been there since 10:10 am, it was after 12noon. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
The place was ok. They tried to use the cheese greater on my feet which I know is illegal where I’m from. My nails look ok but already started peeling where she left polish on my skin. Polish on my feet is pretty sloppy. Just overall underwhelming.
On Wed 4/28/21 was my first and last time visiting Hollywood Nails. When I first came in Jack asked me what services I wanted. I let him know I had acrylic on both big toes and that I wanted them removed. When I was seated the nail technician looked at my toes, she started speaking none English language. Jack and another female nail technician was sitting directly across from us at the manicure tables and they both were with customers. I asked her what was the problem, Jack indicated that she was not trained in the acrylic nail removal, and she did not speak English but she could file them down for me.
I agreed to have them filed down. This was the first time I had acrylic on my toes and having them filed down so I did not know what to expect.While watching her file the nails down, it seem as if she did not know what she was doing and Jack and her stayed in communication speaking non English. I ask Jack if she knew what she was doing? and he replied yes, I am tell her what to do. Days later both nails cracked. I called and spoke to Lisa because she said Jack I was out of town, she told me to come in Wed 5/6/21 at 2pm. When I arrive Jack was there and he was so busy telling me how much he was going to charge me to repair the nail, he never apologize or took responsibility for the mishandling that I experience. I did not have a receipt because I Cash app them my payment, so I was unable to dispute this awful situation. I will file a complaint on Jack Nguyen & Bich Lu. I am a small business owner also and I know how to treat people, all people.
I did SnS nails. They were horrible. They were not smoothed ou,t and they were not the sam length. They should close.
The internet states closing is at 8pm. I walk in at 6:15pm and was informed they were closed. All while two women were getting their feet done and lights in the window were still on. Please update your hours of operations. This was a waste of time and gas. Two stars b/c the woman was pleasant prior to turning me away.
They having amazing services and individuals that take their time to make sure your nails are looking perfect. My full set last me longer than I have had with any other nail establishment.
I went and got a full set. The place is very clean. Jaul was very nice(chair #1). I just love my nails. He did a wonderful job!!! Will be going back.
