Houser's is always a great place. Art is my barber there, and we go way back, but Houser's is an old-fashioned sort of place where all the barber's are friendly and willing to help you. There is always a hand shake, fist bump, or gesture to welcome you and to send you off.
If you haven't tried Houser's, give it a try. You will find a modern but conservative crew ready to give you the haircut you need, or a little edgier one that you want.
They cut kids' hair as well! It's a great place to expose young men to a mature place with good models for work ethic and focus.

I tired all three barbers and I ask for a trim . I always end up with the short 's hair cut I 've had in 50 years. That does not take any talent at all.
Classic Barber Shop. The guys were all nice, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place if you're looking for a military style fade of any kind. I asked for a high fade, skin on the sides. What I got can hardly be described as a "fade". There was no fade whatsoever. If you're in the military (especially USMC), I recommend you look elsewhere.
After years of going to different places I found my barber shop at Housers. Great cuts and service. Good conversation and a very fair price.

Just moved back into the area. I had a rough time finding somewhere short notice to get a cut. Luckily it was meant to be because this was a great experience. I tried 4 other places that couldn't fit me in for hours or days, so I remembered seeing Housers sign when visiting a friend in new Cumberland. I phoned in and immediately was greated with a warm hello and invitation to come on in and we will fit you in sir. Got there and didn't wait a second! Cory one of their excellent barbers told me to have a seat and grabbed me a beer! What an excellent experience. Not to mention a fantastic hair cut! My hair isn't easy and longer than most fellas and Cory just did a perfect job even though it was our first time doing business. I have found a permanent barber and recommend you try this wonderful little barber shop.
