Strengths:
1. Fit me in at the last minute, rebuilt a broken nail without using plastic tips: This comment highlights the flexibility and skill of the staff to accommodate last-minute appointments and provide quality service by fixing a broken nail without the use of plastic tips.
2. Handled my cuticles and didn't goop on too much acrylic overlay: This comment suggests that the staff at iCare Nails & Spa pays attention to detail and provides a quality service by properly handling cuticles and avoiding excessive use of acrylic overlay.
3. Fast, efficient, and good care of hands and nails: The comment emphasizes the speed and efficiency of the service while still maintaining good care of the customer's hands and nails.
4. Friendly and takes time to make sure customers like their nails: The mention of friendliness and attention to customer satisfaction indicates a positive customer service experience at iCare Nails & Spa.
5. The salon has massage chairs, comfortable seating, and a dedicated kids' station: The presence of amenities such as massage chairs, comfortable seating, and a kids' station shows that iCare Nails & Spa strives to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their customers.
6. Proper sanitization and cleanliness practices: The mention of cleaning pedicure stations after each client, a sanitizing machine, and sealed tool packaging demonstrates that iCare Nails & Spa maintains hygiene and sanitation standards.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent charging and upselling of unwanted services: The comment suggests that iCare Nails & Spa has inconsistent charging practices and sometimes pushes unwanted services onto customers as a way to increase their bill. This indicates a lack of transparency and a potential breach of trust.
2. Unresponsive and inflexible customer service: The commenter expressed disappointment in iCare Nails & Spa's refusal to honor an expired gift certificate, highlighting a lack of flexibility and customer-oriented approach. This can create negative experiences and lead customers to look for other service providers.
3. Subpar quality in certain services: Negative experiences with waxing services, where one eyebrow was half gone and the other crooked, indicate a potential inconsistency in the quality of services offered by iCare Nails & Spa.
4. Delayed appointments: One commenter mentioned that their appointment was not ready at the specified time, suggesting a lack of punctuality and organization.
5. Average quality of pedicures: While the commenter appreciated the service, they mentioned that the quality of the pedicure was average and required additional cleaning up with acetone. This indicates that there is room for improvement in the attention to detail during the service.
In conclusion, iCare Nails & Spa has several strengths, including flexibility in accommodating last-minute appointments, attention to cuticle care, and overall good care of hands and nails. They also offer amenities to enhance the customer experience and maintain proper sanitization practices. However, they have some weaknesses, including inconsistent charging practices, unresponsive customer service, subpar quality in certain services, delays in appointments, and average quality pedicures. It is important for iCare Nails & Spa to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.

Fit me in at the last minute, rebuilt a broken nail without using plastic tips, handled my cuticles (y’all know some places don’t do that, to force you to come in sooner for a fill), didn’t goop on too much acrylic overlay on my nails… literally SO fast, so efficient, and so amazing for squeezing me in but still taking such good care of my hands and nails. Looks like I found my new spot ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I went there for years, and initially loved it circa 2017. Now they seem to charge very inconsistently, or will do services that you specifically ask them not to (like dip or gel nails) just so they can charge you about $100. I’ve asked them not to do gel or dip, (said “no” very clearly when they tried to upsell me on it) and have had to stop them when they started applying it anyway. Then they charge you for it! Or things like rubbing your hands for 2 minutes after and charging you for a massage you never asked for. Don’t even get me started on their waxing services- one eyebrow half gone and the other crooked! Unfortunately, this behavior has been consistent across my last 3 visits. I cannot recommend them any longer, seems like they’re ripping people off now.
Was a loyal customer to this salon for years, bringing in several family members and friends along with me. Recently moved and found an old gift certificate. Realizing it was expired, I called to see if it could be honored since essentially the salon never lost any money - even passed expiration. With no offered solution, was told nothing could be done. Incredibly disappointed that they were not flexible at all considering they pocketed $65 of unused funds. I will no longer be a customer or vocal advocate of this business. Considering COVID, salons being closed and health risks on the rise, I truly am appalled at the lack of flexibility on their end.
This place is great! The pic of the Purple tips is what I had gotten last time I was there and this is 2.5 weeks of growth! they still look fabulous!! The green tips is what I currently have! This place is so talented and I love getting my French tips done here.
I called I Care Nails because my nails were long and we’re about to break and I needed to get a manicure so they could shaped and fixed and my husband Gary and our adorable baby fefe were so generous and payed for my manicure . And I talked to Dee and she was very nice and helpful.
And when I walked into I Care Nails they were very nice and asked me what I came in for and I said my name is Lauren I talked to Dee and have an appt at 5 and I picked out a beautiful green color and after I did that,
Mary who was my nail technician was very nice and patient with me and had a nice conversation as well. And now my nails look great and much better. Thank you so much I Care Nails and thank you Mary for fixing my nails and making them look better. I appreciate it a lot.
Always friendly and take time to make sure you like your nails. Much appreciated. Its a week later + and they still look great.
Mary does my pedicure and she is fantastic. Gives the greatest pedicure and so friendly.
Very happy with my experience here today! I got a plain regular pedicure. The space was pretty clean, they have a very good selection of polish colors and nail services, and lots of very friendly staff. The pricing is some of the cheapest I've seen in the area (but I haven't been to a ton of local nail salons either). The quality of the pedicure itself is average: they did a better job of painting my toe nails than I could do, but it's not perfect (while they try to keep the polish off the skin as best they can while painting, they do end up using acetone and a brush to clean up around the whole nail on each toe to clean up their work, which never looks as good as if they painted more carefully to begin with). My only other minor disappointment was that I had made an appointment at a specific time, but they were not ready for me at that appointed time. They didn't make me wait too long, but IMO if you are going to make an appointment you should be able to take your client at the appointed time.
Bonus facts:
-They have massage chairs for you to sit in while you get your pedicure done.
-I didn't specifically ask, but myself and others were able to bring in our own outside beverages.
-They have a smaller station outfitted in pink with a fairy motif for a younger client receiving a pedicure.
-They have comfy looking office chairs for clients getting manicures, acrylics, etc.
-They have a drying station for you to sit at to help your pedicure dry faster, and they also have a drying spray to spray on your pedicure before you leave (other salons I've been to only had the drying station, no spray.)
-I witnessed that they clean the pedicure stations/tubs immediately after each client.
-They have a sanitizing machine in the back, and their tools are opened from sealed packaging so it appears that they take proper measures to sanitize their tools.
I posted pictures below of their available services and hours. They are, of course, subject to change so be sure to call ahead to make sure they are open, can take your appointment, can accommodate the services you want, and the pricing. I blocked out the pricing because while it is accurate as of today, I don't want them to experience any trouble in the future if they need to change their prices.
Bonus-bonus fact: as of today (1/20/2018) this salon is located next to a restaurant called Yumi Sushi which has very good sushi/rolls/Japanese food, if you are looking to munch before or after your salon services (these businesses aren't associated with each other, just thought I'd put the idea out there). Again call to check the hours to make sure they will be open before you make your plans. :)
