Quick Facts About Idekü
Idekü place, based on the comments given, has both strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, the food at Idekü place receives several positive reviews. Many commenters praised the taste and quality of the dishes. They specifically mentioned the deliciousness of the pork belly, black tonkotsu, miso, egg rolls, takoyaki, noodles, bao buns, and Mongolian BBQ. The variety of options, including sushi and noodles, is also appreciated. The flavors are described as fresh, flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.
In terms of service, most commenters found the staff to be friendly and polite. They appreciated the quick service and the fact that the food was ready promptly. The staff's attitude and demeanor were not major issues for most customers. The prices are considered reasonable by some, despite the higher cost of the egg rolls.
The portion sizes at Idekü place are generous, as pointed out by one customer who shared a Mongolian BBQ plate with her husband and still had leftovers to take home. This indicates that the establishment offers value for money.
Moving on to the weaknesses, the atmosphere and overall appearance of the restaurant receive criticism. One customer stated that the atmosphere is not inviting, and the general look of the place is not well-kept. Another commenter mentions that the facility looks run down, suggesting a lack of maintenance and TLC. These negative impressions may impact the overall dining experience for some customers.
One specific complaint is about the sushi. A customer states that the California Rolls were "just as bad as the atmosphere" and advises against ordering sushi from this location. This negative feedback about the sushi could be a significant drawback for sushi lovers looking to dine at Idekü place.
The limited customization options for certain dishes, such as the pile of egg noodles, are also mentioned as a potential weakness. One customer suggests that more vegetable options should be available for customization. This lack of flexibility in ordering may be a drawback for those with specific dietary preferences or restrictions.
Although the comments do not mention the cleanliness of the restaurant explicitly, the fact that it is described as a "hole in the wall" and one suggestively advises not to judge it based on its appearance raises concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.
Overall, Idekü place seems to excel in terms of food quality and variety, with positive reviews about the taste and flavor of their dishes. The staff is generally polite and provides quick service. However, the weaknesses lie in the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant, with comments about it not being inviting or well-kept. The negative feedback on the sushi and limited customization options are additional factors to consider. Despite these weaknesses, Idekü place still receives positive comments and recommendations from customers who appreciated the food and service provided.

The food was pleasantly delicious and being away from Los Angeles, this was a real treat. The pork belly was perfectly marinated and the black tonkotsu as well as the miso were wonderfully curated with herbs and spices. The egg rolls were supremely fresh and golden fried. A little pricey for egg rolls but I guess it is what it is. The atmosphere of the place isn't very inviting and the overall look of the place isn't very well kept. The cashier didn't say much and didn't look very happy but maybe it was because they were close to closing. We were there around 6pm and they close at 8pm. We did have some California Rolls, but they were just as bad as the atmosphere. I would not recommend eating sushi from this location. They also have a Mongolian BBQ at the location as well and let you choose your own mix of food to cook. We didn't try it though so I can't speak on it. As a whole, the experience in the restaurant was mediocre and the food was good. So, for me, I would just order take out.
Wonderful experience. The food was delicious and ready quickly. I ordered takoyaki and noodles. The staff was friendly. The location was clean.
Good Ramen, good noodles, great bao buns. 4 starts just cause I wouldn't say the service is amazing or outstanding. It's generic. But we usually order to go anyways so its good for us.
I just discovered this place. Food was delicious. My husband and I shared a mongolian bbq plate and it was plenty of food and we even took some home. The place is a hole in the wall, but don't let that stop you from trying it. Food was fresh and flavorful. Service was pleasant. Will definently go back.
The ramen broth bowls were amazing and the hardboiled egg in it is jam packed with flavor absolutely delicious. Tried the chowmein with lamb and the lamb was cooked perfectly tons of flavor. Thought id try the ideku special spicey roll and it was very good as well. Over all the food was very good, the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the inside of the facility looks a tad run down which is a shame. Would be alot more popular if they hit the place with a little tlc and modernized it a bit.
Personally my favorite place to get lunch' sushi and the noodles are amazing and seasoned well, great food, great service, very polite! Highly Recommended.
What a great place to have a meal the food is cooked very well for your liking I love having the soup which is what I have just one whole time great job keep up the good work
I seen the reviews and watched the video from the crazy guy so decided to try it out and I like this restaurant but I think next time I'd customize my order instead of a pile of egg noodles more veggies instead, the staff was very polite the food is flavorful I'll try it again
