Very disappointed , received a sew in weave 2 days ago for a photoshoot for my birthday I had scheduled the next day . An hour after receiving the sew in I noticed the a braiding sticking out and the tracks coming out . I did call and complain they offered for me to come back in and fix it but I have scabs on my head from the sewing needle poking me and this isn’t the first time I received a bad hair style from them . I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt being that there isn’t a lot of places on StatenIsland. But $120 for a sew in that didn’t last me an hour is ridiculous. On top of that there were mice and bugs running around !
The first time I went they told me halfway through doing my hair that they had to close and I would have to pay now and return the next day. We were able to resolve the issue and the braids are nice. The second time I came in for a sew in with a closure the sew in was done horribly and she put black glue on my hairline for the closure. She had a toddler with her the entire time she is doing my hair which wouldn't be a problem but he kept trying to sip my drink and ended up spilling the entire thing on the floor . That was for my birthday and I had to take it out immediately. The third time I was told that my butterfly twist would be 140 over the phone when I arrived I was charged 160 and an older woman began doing my hair in a totally different style (after me clearly explaining the style I wanted and her telling me she knew how to do it). I had to pull up a YouTube video to show her what I was talkin about, She then got two younger women who seemed very upset and agitated that they had to stop what they were doing to do my hair. My hair came out beautifully but it is clear that prices change randomly, they don't know how to do anything with weave, and you have to get there really early. I would like for things to be run a little bit more professional ly
I have been using this business for years. I moved to New Jersey over a year ago and I still have to come back to Staten Island to donmy hair. The owner is kind, considerate, and welcoming. Princess did my hair today and I am truly satisfied. I have never had a bad experience here and that is why I keep coming back.

Personally had a great experience at the braiding salon. My hair came out exactly they way that I wanted and better. I got goddess braids and they look fabulous.

My hair always comes out AMAZING!!! They're always able to achieve the style I request. The owner is GREAT!! She is always willing to work with you on the price. They take walk ins but appointment is best but if you have patience ITS WORTH THE WAIT. I get so many Compliments on my hair!! 5 stars is not enough I would give it 10 if I could!
I’ve been going to this hair salon for years they started off good but my last few visits has not been pleasant. I went in for goddess braids the woman didn’t wash my hair right and had me waiting three hours just for her to give up and not do my hair and I had to wait longer for another stylist to arrive. During this time I was sitting in the chair and I seen bugs. One even crawled on my drink that was sitting on the table. And yesterday I booked an appointment I arrive ready to get my hair done and there’s a note on the door saying that there was a holiday and that the salon is closed. Not only was it inconvenient but they did not contact me and tell me that nobody was going to be at the salon it took me all day to find another hairdresser
Called the day before for a 10 am appointment. At that time I was asked what I wanted and told to wait.. they did put on AC for me.. but my hair wasn't started until 11... only complaint.
I think the owner worked on my hair and I got exactly what I asked for. I couldn't be happier. Wish the prices were lower , but my hair is beautiful..
