Quick Facts About Kayla's Nail Care

at Kayla's Nail Care! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they did a fantastic job on my nails. The technician paid attention to detail and made sure my nails were shaped exactly how I wanted them. The salon had a relaxing atmosphere, with elegant music playing in the background. They also had a wide selection of colors to choose from, giving me plenty of options to find the perfect shade. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning.
One of the strengths of Kayla's Nail Care is their attention to detail. Tricia, in particular, is commended for her meticulous work and ability to recreate designs from pictures. This shows that the technicians are skilled and capable of delivering long-lasting and great-looking nails. Another strength is the friendly and positive energy of the staff. TT, in particular, is highly recommended by one customer for her top-tier work.
Cleanliness is also emphasized as a strength of Kayla's Nail Care. The salon uses an autoclave sterilizer, ensuring that their tools are properly cleaned and safe for use. Additionally, the staff is transparent about their cleaning practices, as one comment mentions the technician opening the tool bag in front of a customer.
Affordability is another positive aspect of Kayla's Nail Care. Multiple comments mention the reasonable prices, and one customer even claims that it's the only salon they will go to in the Bay Area because other places don't compare. This indicates that customers feel they are getting a good value for their money.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One criticism is that the massage chairs are old and in need of an update. Another customer mentions that there are no water jets in the foot soaking basin, which may be disappointing for those who enjoy that feature during a pedicure.
Some customers describe Kayla's Nail Care as just an average salon, nothing amazing or outstanding. While they may not have any glaring issues, there is a sense that they don't stand out from other nail salons. This lack of uniqueness might be a weakness for customers who are looking for a more exceptional experience.
Another weakness highlighted is the common practice of cutting nails downward, which can cause ingrown nails. Although this is mentioned as a common practice in many places, it is still a negative aspect that customers should be aware of.
Overall, Kayla's Nail Care seems to have more strengths than weaknesses. The attention to detail, friendly staff, cleanliness, and affordability are all positive aspects that contribute to a pleasant experience for customers. However, potential areas for improvement include updating the massage chairs, adding water jets to the foot soaking basin, and avoiding the common practice of cutting nails downward.

Best TL Reviews

Tricia has done my tips twice now and has been wonderful. She is very detail oriented and very kind. I enjoy chatting with her while she does my nails. Both times I have gone in with a picture of what I wanted and she has nailed it both times. I will be sad when I have to leave here in a few weeks and go back home! The only thing I miss with getting my manicure here is a little hand massage at the end when my nails are done but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I highly recommend Tricia for sure to anyone wanting nails that last and look great!!
Pretty basic nail salon, nothing amazing or out of the ordinary. Massage chairs are a bit old. No water jets in the foot soaking basin. Technician tried to cut my nail downward which causes ingrowns but that's unfortunately a very common practice. Fairly clean as far as tools. They use an autoclave sterilizer and opened the tool bag in front of me. Removed my gel polish pretty well too without much cutting of my nail.
Wouldn't go again, although there's nothing glareingly wrong or at issue. It's just an ok place.
I love this place and I only allow TT to work on my nails and toes, her work is always top tier and she has a great positive energy! The prices are great, it's the only place I will go since I moved to the Bay area, I tried some others but they don't compare. TT and the wonderful ladies at Kayla's nail Care are THE BEST!!!!!
They did it professionally and neatly. The place had elegant music and they also had a wide selection of colors. This is the place I will go to get my nails done for the rest of my life.
I truly had the best manicure I've had in years today! It was my first time to this salon and I'm so glad I chose here. She did the most incredible job on my cuticles and made my nails the exact shape I asked, which some other places don't always do. Will be going back here for sure.
The staff was very nice. I came for pedicure, but I did not have enough time to paint my nails, they told me me I can come anytime. I did come 4 days after and they took me immediately and paint my nails. They did a great job painting. Pedicure was good just she could remove more of a death skin. Otherwise I will definitely come back.
Pedicure is $35
Had my first pedicure ever, at Kayla's.
I'll never go anywhere else. I highly recommend this wonderful place.
And they do outstanding work. I do have my favorite, but if I haven't made an appointment and she is busy, I have found many other favorites. Go to Kayla's, you won't be disappointed.
Loved my first time there
