Quick Facts About Kelsey Nails

Kelsey Nails place has received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the friendly staff, wide selection of colors, and precise nail work, while others complain about rough treatment, poor service, and unprofessional behavior.
One clear strength of Kelsey Nails place is its friendly and welcoming staff. Several customers mention that the staff members are nice, sweet, and attentive. They greet customers at the door and provide assistance in choosing colors and services. Additionally, customers appreciate that the staff members go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, such as bringing water during appointments.
The salon's decoration is also mentioned as a strength. One customer describes it as the most beautiful decorated nail salon they have ever been to. This indicates that Kelsey Nails place pays attention to creating a visually pleasing and comfortable environment for its customers.
Another strength highlighted by a positive review is the skill and precision of certain nail technicians. Sarah, in particular, is praised for her precise and amazing nail work. The customer mentions that she spent multiple hours doing the nails exactly as requested, demonstrating her dedication to providing a high-quality service.
However, there are weaknesses mentioned in the negative reviews. One recurring complaint is the uncleanliness and lack of sanitation. One customer mentions that the tools were not properly sanitized and appeared to have been used by previous customers. This indicates a potential lack of attention to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Another weakness highlighted in the negative reviews is the subpar quality of the nail services. Several customers mention that their nails chipped shortly after getting them done or that the nail polish peeled off easily. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality in the application of nail polish, especially in the case of no-chip polish.
Poor customer service is another weakness mentioned in the negative reviews. One customer mentions being yelled at by a technician named Tracy and witnessing her unprofessional behavior towards another staff member. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer-focused service, which can negatively impact the overall experience.
Inconsistency in pricing is also mentioned as a weakness. One customer was surprised by the high price and found out that the salon charged separately for fill-in, color, and matte top coat. This lack of transparency in pricing can lead to customer frustration and dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, while Kelsey Nails place has strengths such as friendly staff, a wide selection of colors, and skilled nail technicians, it also has weaknesses in terms of cleanliness, quality of service, and customer service. Attention to addressing these weaknesses could help improve the overall customer experience at Kelsey Nails place.

Best TL Reviews

This is my new go to nail place. I’m in love !!! All of the staff is so nice and friendly and greet you at the door with the biggest selection of colors I’ve ever seen. It’s the most beautiful decorated nail salon I have ever been in. Sarah did my nails and she did such a precise and amazing job. She spent multiple hours doing my nails exactly how I wanted and they came out amazing. I could tell she really wanted them to be perfect. Grace is also very sweet. She showed me their new Japanese nail polish and helped me pick out a color. She also brought me water halfway through my appointment. I was very happy going home and I highly recommend.
This was my first visit at Kelsey nails/ paradise nails and I had a terrible time. If I could give 0 stars I would. I had the nail tech Annie and right away she had a problem with taking a client, I should have left then. She was rough and in a rush, didn't even clip my nails or do cuticles care. The dip job was a mess and super chunky, and its 2 days later and my nail get caught in my hair.
We asked her more than once to clean up the nails and file them, I ended up being set with a new tech for that.
I was still charged full price, $45 and was offered a free $15 service on my next visit but I don't think i want to go back.
I just moved to the Skokie area, and made a huge mistake coming to this salon. A misleading salon who would not let me use a Groupon for the service I had purchased it. I also received a pedicure and it was one of the most ugliest and unprofessional pedicure. Never again coming to this salon.
After reading a few reviews for this nail salon I see that my experience is common. I made a same day appointment to get a fill-in with no-chip with pedicure as well. The tech working on my nails did a sloppy job and within in a week one of MY nails broke and the paint chipped on thumb nail. I went back to get it fixed and the paint chipped on my other thumb in less than a week. I live to far to keep going back to this shop so I figured I would write a review. The crazy part about all of this is that the shop is beautiful but, the quality of work is trash. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I've never seen no-chip polish peel off of a nail ????
Hello nail world. This place is awesome. Kevin knows who to place you with if your a new client. I always feel like $25.000. When all is done. Hands and feet. Thamk you. Stay safe. God bless
First things first, I am not usually one to complain but I have never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon. The salon I usually go to had no techs available so I decided to go here. I booked an appointment for an acrylic fill in and when I entered the salon, the ladies told me to get a gel fill in instead, so I took their advice. I sat down and I did not even pick a color when the lady began to do my nails. She made me bleed with the buffer tool she was using. Towards the end, she kept putting on coats of "matte" top gel and I was worried my nails would be puffy. When this was over, I was charged $40. I came home an hour later and realized my nails, were indeed, puffy and decided to give them a call for the price breakdown. I asked the man why I was charged so much and found out they charge separately for fill in, color, and matte top coat. He explained all of this with an attitude and I told him his prices online were different and he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and would charge me to fix my puffy, streaky, "matte" nails. Sticking to my usual salon.
First time here and unfortunately the lady assigned to me didn't
thoroughly clean my toes. I was excited to treat myself, but It was rushed and just put a paint over it. It doesn't feel clean. The tools were not sanitized, it was all scattered in the box. Looks like another customer used it and was just washed and ready to use again. The amount charged is not justifiable. Decor was nice, but forgot the most basic need why customer comes back. Unsanitary and a ripped off. Never again...If only I can post No Star....
DO NOT see tracy!!!!! on my daughters graduation day she painted her toes like her whole toe lol and yelled at us when we asked her to clean them up. Grace was amazing on my pedi and saved the day and re-did the entire pedi. Tracy continued to yell at poor Grace in front of us and tried to stop her from re doing. very unprofessional and she should not be working in this industry! she will take down this shops reviews and out them under. very cute place and everyone else is super sweet. she should apply as a cook county sheriff in the jail... it would suit her much better.
