Quick Facts About West Allis Center
The West Allis Center Menards store has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths is the helpfulness of the employees. Multiple comments mention how the employees are knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist customers. This kind of customer service can be a significant advantage for the store, as it can enhance the shopping experience for customers and make them more likely to return in the future.
Another strength is that the store has a wide range of items available for customers. Despite being described as an older store, it is mentioned that the inventory is extensive, and they have most of what customers would need for home projects. This is advantageous because it means that customers can find the items they need without having to go to multiple stores.
Additionally, the store's location is seen as convenient by some customers. It is mentioned that it is easy to access and has ample parking, including many handicap spaces. Having good accessibility and parking options can attract more customers to the store, as it makes shopping more convenient for them.
However, there are also weaknesses associated with the West Allis Center Menards store. One of the main weaknesses mentioned is the lack of specific items available. Several comments note that the store did not have certain items in stock, such as outdoor projector lights. This can be frustrating for customers who have a specific item in mind and may lead them to go to alternative stores to find what they need. In this case, customers had to go to Home Depot to find the items they were looking for.
Another weakness mentioned is the outdated design of the store. While some customers appreciate the nostalgic feel of the store, others feel that it is old and could use an update. This could potentially deter some customers who prefer a more modern shopping environment or who may perceive the store as not being up to date with current trends.
One comment also mentions dissatisfaction with the hiring process and the store playing games with the individual's time. This is a significant weakness as it reflects negatively on the store's organizational culture and could impact the overall customer experience. If employees are not treated well, it can lead to poor customer service and a negative shopping experience for customers.
In conclusion, the West Allis Center Menards store has strengths such as helpful employees, a wide range of items available, and convenient location and parking. However, it also has weaknesses such as limited stock, an outdated design, and potential issues with the hiring process. These strengths and weaknesses should be considered when evaluating the overall strengths and weaknesses of the store.

We went to Menard's on Highway 100. This is one of the Old fashioned Menard's locations as far as design that goes back to The 1980's designs. We Love design of this Old fashioned Menard's location. They did not have what we needed though. We were looking for those outdoor Star Showers Projector Lights and the outdoor Snowflake Projector Lights and they did not get any in this Year. Menard's had them last Year but none this Year and this was at all the locations that we went to too. We finally found some at The Home Depot down the block
Whatever your project, whether it's big or small you can find the items you need at this Menards! Employees are helpful-often leading customers to do exact location of their need or needs. Employees are so helpful and will not abandon customers until they have all their questions asked and have found whatever they need.
Like a trip back in time, but surprisingly efficient I'd you know what you're looking for. The small scale belies the inventory, and the service is still great to me. No it's not one of their flagships, but it's easy to get at
This is not your typical Menards. It reminds me of an older mom and pops hardware store. It's neat but still has most of what you'll need to get your home project complete.
It's aiight. I just don't like how they keep playing like they're hiring, but play dumb a*s games with your time. I should be getting paid for the time I wasted, then I'd be straight. I wouldn't move over here either. The area is not worth the money you'd be putting into it.
Menards is not my favorite place to shop for hardware/tools, however, this store is always well staffed and has good staff
The building is old and at this point I would consider it Vintage, but I'm usually able to find general stuff here. It gets a little crowded during busy weekend hours, but what do you expect I guess... Sometimes if I'm looking for variety in styling, (ie. Different toilets, faucets, etc) I'll go to one of the bigger Menards, but if you're in a pinch, this Menards is fine.
Home Goods- Marshalls...what store! It's filled to the gills with holiday Thrills and you will see if you can't find it anywhere else you'll find it here especially if you're looking for a fan gear at a holiday Grinch's price!! They are still putting out holiday Goods so every hour that goes by there's more on the shelves to look at.
Various sizes of carts are available for your convenience along with clean restrooms that are handicapped accessible. Parking is easy and there are many handicap spaces.
