Quick Facts About YH Nails
YH Nails Place is a nail salon that has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will examine the comments and identify recurring themes and patterns.
One strength of YH Nails Place, mentioned by multiple customers, is the quality of their nail services. Some customers have reported being happy with the appearance of their nails, stating that they looked beautiful and had a nice shape. Additionally, they mentioned that their nails lasted a decent amount of time before needing a fill. This suggests that the salon has skilled technicians who are capable of producing good results for their customers.
Another strength mentioned by one customer is the option to have broken nails fixed during the next appointment. This indicates that the salon is responsive to customer needs and is willing to address any issues that may arise after the initial service.
In terms of weaknesses, a recurring theme in the comments is poor customer service. Multiple customers have complained about rude and unfriendly staff members. One customer mentioned that the technician seemed unknowledgeable and complained when they pointed out uneven nails. Another customer stated that a technician did not ask if they were okay or make any adjustments when they experienced extreme pain during the service. These comments suggest a lack of professionalism and attentiveness on the part of the staff.
Furthermore, there have been complaints about inconsistency in the quality of service at YH Nails Place. One customer, who had previously been satisfied with their visits, had a terrible experience with a different technician. They described experiencing pain throughout the service and expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome. Another customer noted that the lady who did their nails was extremely rude and refused to fix their nails without additional payment. These inconsistencies indicate a lack of training and standardization among the salon's technicians.
Hygiene and cleanliness are also areas of concern raised by customers. One customer mentioned that their nails were left with dried up clear polish all over their fingers, and they had to wash their hands and scrape off excess polish themselves. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness on the part of the salon. Additionally, another customer reported that their skin was cut during a nail service, indicating a lack of proper sanitization and safety measures.
Another weakness highlighted by a customer is the salon's pricing policy. The customer mentioned that they were unable to use multiple coupons for their services and felt that the attitude of the staff, particularly Bryan, was disrespectful. This suggests a lack of transparency and customer-friendly policies.
In conclusion, YH Nails Place has strengths in the quality of their nail services and the ability to fix broken nails during subsequent visits. However, weaknesses include poor customer service, inconsistency in service quality, hygiene concerns, and a questionable pricing policy. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a loyal customer base.

If I could give cero start to this nail salon. Believe they work is mediocre, and customer service was rude. The technician seemed unknowable. Complaining every time I was telling that my nails were uneven. Never again. Don't waste your time coming here.
I have been coming here to get fills about twice a month since July and have always been happy! My nails always looked beautiful, the shape nice and thin, and lasted a decent amount of time. Whenever I had a broken nail, they would fix it with no problem during my next appointment. I never ask for any person specifically to do my nails, but they typically end up being the same 2-3 people (who I guess always handle acrylics).
Unfortunately, my most recent experience, today was really awful. I had a different guy do my nails than any of the people I'm used to. Right away, when he was buffing my nails, I felt some pain. It just got worse throughout. Usually, there might be an uncomfortable pain getting my nails done once in awhile so I let it go...but there were times where I literally flinched and said out loud "ow!" because I couldn't control it - it hurt that bad. Even worse, the guy did not ask if I was okay, be any gentler, or make any other adjustments. He kept filing and buffing my raw skin which I was clearly uncomfortable with. He continued to paint my nails and at one point when I put my hand in the dryer, I bumped my thumb. The paint didn't come off but looked bumpy - he noticed, didn't say anything, but proceeded to buff off the color and do ONE layer before he said "okay all done." Honestly, at this point I just wanted to get out of there. I was literally in pain.
I attached a picture of my nails. The color and polish look pretty! But you can see my raw skin. In addition, I was left with dried up clear polish all over my fingers. It just looked really bad and hurt. Usually I leave and my nails look perfect and I can go on with my day - but these needed me to wash my hands, & scrape excess clear polish off. Even worse, I got worried about all of these open wounds getting infected so I applied hydrogen peroxide on all of them. Every single nail was burning, on fire. This is just not ok. I put neosporin on all of them and will continue to do so until they don't feel as raw.
All in all, I'm upset, not just with this experience but THAT I had such a bad experience because I am usually so happy with them. So would I recommend this place? Use your discretion...if you find someone you like only book appointments with them. If you feel any pain - speak up, which I wish I had. I am unsure of if I should go back here or find another place at this time.
This is the last time I visit this place, that’s how I walked out of there. the lady who did my nails was extremely rude. I asked for her to fix my nails bc they looked sideways; and she said “I’m not finished yet and you have to pay more if I fix it”. I’ve never been treated so rudely. I just sat there and waited and left dissatisfied; since I was afraid to say anything. It’s crazy bc the first time I came here a guy name jack (with a nice tattoo on his right leg) took care of me and was the best. I don’t know if this lady (yiang) was having a bad day but she surely took it out on me ????.
Have been during the week and on weekends and Saturday is definitely the day to go.. little to no waiting.. Yan is my girl she's awesome!! Very Clean and Mia gives great complementary massages while ur getting ur nails done.
Got my nails done two days ago and they look like I have had them for over a week, my skin was all cut up and it just was an over all bad job.
Never will I ever return here. I ask for acrylic with a clear top coat. The person doing my nails kept fighting me on doing pink and I said I wanted a regular top coat, not gel. I ask for a square shape, the technique was extremely sloppy. My nails came out flared shape, not even square. The acrylic was all over the place and dropped some on me, my nails have bubbles in them. Worst of all, they’re not all the same length. She asks again if I wanted clear I said yes and she once again goes “no pink”? Then proceeded to put GEL on my nails when I asked no already. Extremely disappointed. They were rude to other customers, making appointment times and then telling them to come later they were too busy for them. Absolutely appalling.
I came here for a pedicure with a girlfriend. For $25 they literally cut my toenails and put my feet in water. I got a 30 second massage, and it was the most painful toe-nail cutting experience I’ve ever had. The pain was unbearable. Wouldn’t have been such a big deal, but considering I wasn’t asking for any color or anything aside from a cleaning, for $25 she could have given me a halfway decent leg massage (which 10 minutes is supposed to be included!). This place does messy work and is a rip off. I know it’s a pain, but find somewhere else to give your business.
I have been going to this nail salon since they opened. I often take advantage of the coupons printed on the back of ShopRite receipts because it saves an additional $5. However, today I spent $141 between services for myself and my daughter. When I tried to use a coupon for her and one for myself only one coupon would be accepted. I’m not sure where this policy is printed or posted. I find Bryan’s attitude extremely disrespectful-he answers the phone and sits at first table by cash register He never addressed me or even looked up-all he did was nod NO when Maggie asked if she could apply a coupon for each of us. This is bad business practice aside from RUDE BEHAVIOR. I ASSUME since I paid on one transaction that is why my second coupon would not be taken. Again that’s my assumption since no one bothered explaining. Another example of a salon that doesn’t need clients and doesn’t care about keeping the loyal ones I guess…DONT GO HERE!!! All about the money and nothing more!!!
