Quick Facts About Laurel Nail Spa
Laurel Nail Spa has received both positive and negative feedback from customers, which provides insight into its strengths and weaknesses. In this analysis, we will examine these comments and explore the strengths and weaknesses of the spa.
Starting with the strengths, some customers have praised the friendly and nice staff members at Laurel Nail Spa. One customer mentioned that the lady who did her nails was extremely nice and friendly. Another customer mentioned that Ivy was the only one who consistently did their nails nicely and correctly. This positive feedback highlights the potential for great customer service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Furthermore, some customers have expressed satisfaction with the massages provided after getting their nails done at Laurel Nail Spa. One customer specifically mentioned loving the people and massages after getting their nails done. This suggests that the spa offers additional services to enhance the overall experience for customers.
In terms of the weaknesses, several customers have commented on the poor quality of the nail services provided. One customer felt disappointed after spending $80 and leaving with nails that looked like a 5-year-old had done them. Another customer mentioned that their dip powder nails started chipping and peeling within an hour of leaving the salon. These experiences indicate a lack of attention to detail and may suggest unskilled technicians or the use of outdated products.
Hygiene and cleanliness are also areas of concern according to customer comments. One customer noticed a lack of sanitization and mentioned that there was nail dust everywhere. Another customer stated that the salon was cluttered, dusty, and dirty. These remarks raise red flags about the overall cleanliness and organization of the spa, which can be off-putting to potential customers.
Additionally, some customers have criticized the owner and the way they handle customer interactions. One customer described the owner as rude, particularly when it came to payment issues. Another customer commented on the staff speaking in their language and exhibiting negative body language when customers expressed dissatisfaction. These experiences indicate a lack of professionalism and empathy, which can affect the overall customer experience.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the inconsistency in the quality of service. One customer mentioned that out of all the times they visited the spa, they were only satisfied with their nails three times. Additionally, there were instances where customers were asked to tip for unsatisfactory work. This inconsistency can lead to a lack of trust in the spa's ability to consistently deliver high-quality service.
Furthermore, some customers have raised concerns about the cleanliness and sanitization practices at the spa. One customer specifically mentioned that the tools used on their nails were not sanitized and were wrapped in a dirty paper towel. This disregard for proper hygiene practices can be a significant concern for customers and may contribute to their decision to avoid the spa.
Overall, while Laurel Nail Spa has received positive feedback about their friendly staff and massages, the negative comments related to poor service quality, cleanliness issues, and unprofessional behavior of staff members raise significant concerns. These weaknesses can undermine the spa's reputation and may result in a loss of customers. Addressing these issues by improving service quality, hygiene practices, and customer interactions is crucial for the spa to overcome its weaknesses and establish a positive reputation.

Really wish I was a Karen and told them how I really felt about my nails. I asked for something so simple and left looking like my 5 yr old did my nails... I don't get alot of time to myself or many occasions where I get to treat myself..... I won't ever go back there.... and then they act clueless and oblivious.... I spend $80 just to be disappointed.... ???? and they don't seem very organized or sanitary, not a whole lot of sanitizing going on and there is nail dust everywhere ????
I went today and had dip powder done in my nails. I normally get my nails done in Stroudsburg but didn’t have time to go to my regular place today so I decided to try laurel nail. The lady who did my nails was extremely nice and friendly and her technique ( as a licensed cosmetologist myself) her technique was good, however within an hour of leaving the salon my nails started chipping and peeling, which I have had dip powder for the past couple years and have never had this problem. I don’t feel the lady did anything wrong I simply think the products were old. 40.00 and my nails didn’t even last an hour, I probably won’t be returning I’ll stick with my normal place to get them redone. The salon was also very cluttered and not well kept, was dusty and dirty, but again everyone was very nice.
So I went there a week ago the “best” lady did my nails. But since I got them done a week ago one is cracked, one the tip fell off, and one is completely off not to mention they all look like they’re at least 3 weeks old???? they weren’t cheap. This is the second time I’ve had issues. Ivy is the only one who gets them done nice and correctly.
The lady who runs the store is so rude. I love Ivy though. I’ve been going there for a little over a year I’ve had issues with the lady before but I’m only 16 and pay the full amount I brought cash I had my card but I don’t like using it so my total was $98 I brought that. The lady said you had two girls I got a mani pedi I only had $4 left in cash once again I’m their every month so I said I’ll pay next month I have the girls $2 each it wasn’t ideal but I had nothing else the manager said we don’t do it that way like she was very angry. Luckily I have the same girl every month so she was ok she knows I’ll pay next time but she got all the workers looking at me and glaring
I have been coming here for about 9 months and they always do great! Love the people and love the massages after getting your nails done!!! Their work is also amazing!!
So happy with my beautiful nails! She really took a lot of time shaping them.. absolutely perfect
Awful. They broke my REAL nail filing it. They move too fast and don’t listen to what you ask for. My eyes were swollen for 2 days after she did my brows. They are always trying to push more services on you to drive up your bill. The owner MAY is rude. If you say ANYTHING to them, they get offended and start speaking to each other in their language so you can’t understand them. But you can sure hear it in their voice and body language.
This place needs to close. The tools that they use on your nails are disgusting and are not sanitized. The woman actually opened up her plastic case to reveal her tools that were wrapped in a dirty paper towel. Avoid this place at all costs.
Out of all the countless times I’ve been here, I’ve only been satisfied 3 times with my nails and how they turned out. Finally decided to not come here again. The owner also seems to have an attitude almost every time i’ve been there. There’s been times where i was asked to tip for a job that i wasn’t satisfied with or just for a soak off. Tipping shouldn’t be something you ask for lol
