Quick Facts About KK Nails & Spa
KK Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. It is important to analyze these comments in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that KK Nails & Spa has a convenient appointment system. One customer mentioned that they were able to get an appointment upon calling and asking to come in. This suggests that the salon is able to accommodate customers promptly, which is a positive attribute as it shows good customer service. Another strength is the cleanliness of the salon. Multiple comments mentioned that the salon is always clean, indicating that the business maintains a hygienic and well-kept environment. This is crucial for a nail salon, as cleanliness is a significant factor for customers when choosing a place to get their nails done. Additionally, the staff at KK Nails & Spa seem to be friendly and provide good customer service. Customers appreciated the friendly nature of the staff and mentioned positive experiences with them.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one recurring issue is that customer requests and expectations were not met. One person commented that their nails were not shaped properly, the design was not what they asked for, and the gel polish was applied incorrectly, leading to a bumpy finish. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and failure to give customers the desired outcome. Another customer complained about the quality of the acrylic nails, mentioning that they were lumpy and not done properly. This indicates that the nail technician rushed through the process without ensuring the job was done to a high standard. Furthermore, communication seems to be a problem at KK Nails & Spa. One customer mentioned difficulty in speaking and understanding the nail technician, which could be off-putting to some customers. Another issue mentioned was the lack of procedures followed when a customer got cut by a drill bit. Instead of properly cleaning the wound, nail glue was applied, which is an unsanitary practice. This raises concerns about the salon's adherence to health and safety protocols.
In terms of value for money, there is a range of experiences. One customer mentioned feeling that the $55 they paid for their nails was not worth it, as the outcome was not what they expected. On the other hand, another customer mentioned that their nails lasted for 3 weeks and still looked nice, even though they work with their hands extensively. This indicates that the longevity and quality of the services provided may vary.
Overall, KK Nails & Spa has some areas of strength, such as convenient appointments, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are weaknesses in terms of meeting customer expectations, attention to detail, and communication. Improvement in these areas could enhance the overall customer experience at the salon.

We had an appointment at 1:30. We arrived shortly after 1 and was sat down immediately. I asked for French tip and my daughter asked for gel. They were quick and nice. They have foot spas there too.
I asked for a simple design and full set, my nails are not the shape I asked for, not the design, they are very thick and the gel polish is dropping down the end so it's bumpy instead of a flat top. They did not even come close to what I asked or PAID for. She didn't even fix them or refund or take them off. I paid $55 for nails I could've done from a non "professional". Never going again or recommending nails here. My cousin got cut by the drill bit and they didn't do a procedure to clean it, they put NAIL GLUE over her OPEN bleeding cuts. Definitely contacting better business bureau and health department.
Great place to get your nails done or get a Pedi. They get me in every time I call and ask to come in. The salon is always clean the staff is always friendly I highly recommend
I paid $50 for acrylic nails which probably won’t last more than a week. The acrylic doesn’t completely cover my nail bed because it has holes on the sides. They are lumpy and the guy did them so fast without taking the time to make sure they were done properly. Maybe he thought I was broke because I wore sweats and so he half fasted me. Regardless, I still tipped him $10 because it’s the right thing to do but I definitely won’t be going back.
I took my niece here for her birthday. She had never had a pedicure before. She loved the message chair and the guys were so nice to her for her birthday. I LOVED how well they did my nails. It's been 3 weeks and I still think they are nice and I work in a restaurant with my hands in everything. I wish I lived in Red Bluff so they could do my fill!
Very nice. Great massage on my feet. Very friendly. Loved my pedicure!!
AVOID! Went in for a fill and simple french tip design. The nail tech did okay for only having 2 weeks of experience but the fill wasn't done correctly and the nail art was messed up on the sides. Difficult speaking and understanding the tech too. Won't be returning.
I love this nail salon! Thank you Peter my nails are on point! I have not had any complaints. My third visit here.
