Quick Facts About L A Perfection Nails
L A Perfection Nails has a mixture of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths mentioned is that the salon is clean and friendly. Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the salon, which is an important factor when choosing a nail salon. A clean environment is not only visually appealing but also contributes to the overall experience and hygiene. Additionally, the friendliness of the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
The specific recommendations for manicure and pedicure specialists, Kelly and Momma Haydee, respectively, indicate that the salon has staff members who are skilled and provide satisfactory services. This can be considered a strength as customers are recognizing the expertise and quality of certain staff members.
Another strength mentioned is the availability of last-minute appointments. One customer was able to walk in and immediately start their pedicure without any wait time. This flexibility in scheduling can be appealing to customers who have busy schedules or need to get their nails done on short notice.
However, the weaknesses of L A Perfection Nails are more prominent in the comments. One of the major weaknesses is the unprofessionalism of the staff. Several customers mentioned rude behavior, lack of patience, and disrespectful attitudes exhibited by the staff. This is a significant issue as customers expect professional and courteous treatment when visiting a salon.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of organization and appointment management. One customer described an incident where their appointment was not properly scheduled, and they were made to wait. This lack of organization can lead to customer dissatisfaction and frustration, especially when they have made prior arrangements and expect timely service.
The comments also highlight issues with health and safety standards. One customer mentioned getting burns from the UV lamp used during their pedicure, while another mentioned concerns about a potential nail infection. These incidents raise concerns about the salon's adherence to proper hygiene practices and customer safety protocols. These issues should be taken seriously as they can lead to health risks for customers.
Customers also mentioned the limited color options available at the salon. While this may not be a significant concern for some customers, others may prefer a wider variety of colors to choose from. This limitation can be seen as a weakness, as it may restrict customers' ability to get the specific color they desire.
Additionally, there were complaints about the quality of the nail services provided. Issues such as poorly done nails, glue on the cuticles, nail polish on the skin, and air bubbles in the nails were mentioned. These quality concerns can significantly impact customers' satisfaction and overall experience at the salon.
Furthermore, the lack of professionalism from the salon's management was highlighted in one comment. The owner showed no concern towards the customers' dissatisfaction, suggesting a disregard for customer feedback and a lack of responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, while L A Perfection Nails has some strengths such as cleanliness, friendly staff, and last-minute appointment availability, the weaknesses mentioned in the comments, including unprofessional behavior, lack of organization, health and safety concerns, limited color options, and poor service quality, outweigh the strengths. These weaknesses are significant and could lead to a negative experience for customers. Improvement in these areas is necessary for the salon to provide a satisfactory and enjoyable nail salon experience.

Very clean and friendly. Only ask for Kelly for manicure and Momma Haydee for pedicure. Not a large choice of colors, so bring your own if you want something fancy.
Absolutely Unprofessional! I spoke to Mai the day before to schedule an appointment. I spoke to her on the phone and she put me down for 11am. When I came in, she acted like she had no idea and started another client to which she wanted me to wait afterwards! I spoke to the Manager and she wanted to do it herself bc she knew I had an appointment.
I walked out. Let me be the one to tell you that this is my second time having such an unprofessional experience at this salon. Also, Mai used to be kind when she needed clients but I noticed since she has more clients that she is Full Of Herself and feels like she no longer can give people Common Respect! I will not step foot into this establishment until their are more Professional workers. Completely A Mess. Thank God I went to another place bc after I took off the Gel Pedicure I got a fungus. This facility should not be opened.
Better Business Barreau should investigate…
I went for pedicure in July I got gel nail polish with UV lamp drying. My toes got burns from UV light lamp than got infected. I had to go doctor to get nail removed due to damaged infected nail-bed tissue and more might fall off. Be careful take caution about getting your nails done!
Unfortunately going here will no longer be an option for myself not my family. The attitude and rudeness of the staff is the first turn off. A close second is how crowded the owners allow the salon to get. I understand COVID may not be as bad as it was a year ago (allegedly) and I also understand frequenting this business is a choice. However when I booked 3 appointments, I had no idea walk-ins were accepted nor that so many appointments would be scheduled on top of one another.
There was no divider between myself and the chair next to me where another customer was being serviced. When I asked for one, I was told there weren’t any more. There is also now a $2 fee for the liners to be used in the pedicure stations which was not ever a thing before.
My pedicure was done well however I had to ask my polish to be cleaned and fixed several times. Once I was finished at the pedicure station I had to wait another 25 mins for someone to be free for my manicure. Mind you, I had an appt. I asked to clean the chair and tools used prior to me sitting and that was met with attitude and slamming of the equipment. Why? There IS still a pandemic yet aside from that, a salon SHOULD be providing services to customers in a clean environment with clean tools and equipment(without additional fees!) Dont even get me started on the lack of supplies! Several of the color choices displayed were not available and the one i did end up selecting was dry and gross. I asked for a new bottle and was simply told, no.
What I have spoken on is my experience. My friends that joined me on this day had similar issues. We payed well over $250 plus tips to be treated rude and be unsatisfied. The owner had no concern towards our dissatisfaction.
While I was ready to let this issue go, my frustration continued as a day later at home, I have to fix and repair nails that were just “professionally” done.
Got a last minute appointment with no problem. Walked right in immediately got my pedicure started. No wait, which I was happy about. Tina serviced me. She was nice, professional, and attentive to detail. I like how my pedicure came out. Shop was clean & relaxing. I will be back!
When we walked in we did not receive a warm welcome and the atmosphere was terrible. But, I just wanted my nails done. The staff isn’t very friendly, and don’t have any sort of patience z I asked for a very simple design with a sguiggly type of line & she tells me “$60”. I paid, but she was very rude and the nails were terrible & ugly. There is glue all over my cuticles & nail polish on my finger not nail. It was so bad and I will not return. Side note, the UVs burn
air bubbles in nails & glue on my skin.
It was nice greeting. We I walked in temp was taken. That was a plus for me. Then got full set. My nails look like it was layers left on. They are so bulky. The shaping was not good because the base was left too wide. Around my cuticles are peeling. The Polish was bubbling up like water got underneath when I put on gloves to wash the dishes.
I was afraid I could get fungus. So with as much as I paid. With tip was $80. I have to go back to let her fix and re polish only because I spent so much money. Otherwise if I go back, that’s a big if, I will try someone else before I will decide on giving 2 thumbs down. ????????
My friend and I decided to get our nails done up north since they are a lot cheaper. We walked in not receiving a warm welcome. The UV light was extremely hot I took my hands out and she stated “hot better put back in” in sort of a rude way. Our nails came out looking almost like “duck nails” when we asked for square. She seemed a bit annoyed when we were choosing our color. Only thing good about the place is how clean it is.
