I am in a wheelchair and this place is not Wheelchair friendly at all. There was one specific aisle, aisle 14 that I wanted to go down for acrylic nail supplies, I asked the worker there to kindly move a box so I could go down the aisle comfortably and shop on my own if they refuse to. I will not be shopping here anymore and I felt very uncomfortable. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
I love this store, the sheer size and variety means I never have to make more than one trip. Due to pandemic difficulties they tend to be understaffed as of late but they’ve been in the same location for over a decade and have only improved responding to customers wants consistently.
A lot struggled during the pandemic and the temporary short staffing mentioned in other reviews does not speak to their excellent customer service, longevity, 7 day a week schedule and the fact that they carry almost every black hair care brand and encourage you to browse the full store to see whats new.
Purchased some lighten cream for my hand because of the type of work I do. Only to realize the cream was watery and out of date. Tried to exchange he wouldn't honor it and...he put it back on the shelf! I had opened and used it twice before I realized it was expired! No longer doing business here. I wonder how many times has he done this! NASTY!
I love KIM'S ENTERPRISE. I TRAVEL BACK FROM SUMTER SC TO COLUMBIA SC TO GET MY HAIR.. THEY HAVE A GREAT VARIETY OF HAIR. THE GUY THERE IS SO SWEET AND FRIENDLY. HAVE ALL THE PATIENCE IN THE WORLD. HE HELPED ME TO PICK OUT THE BEST CHOICE OF HAIR.. Will be back to spend $500.00????????
I always buy my hair too there
It's hard to say...when you walk in the beauty supply store, you don't know where to look. There is stuff everywhere blocking the aisles. If you have time which I didn't, I believe you can find what you need. If the product was up off the floor I would have given them another star. FYI, Kim Enterprises you seriously need to hire some help.
It's a great store to go to I will admit. However, there is hair all over the place even in boxes so maybe they need a bigger store. I love the wigs and selection of crochet hair. A ton of hair products are all around the store so sometimes it can be overwhelming. I still will go to this store because of the variety. They keep up with the trends!
Both me and my friend have experienced the same scam at this location. On my incident I was charge for a product That was never placed in my bag I tried to straighten things out through management however I’m still waiting on a call back;Resulting for me to dispute things through my bank. As of yesterday my friend purchased a Wig from the same location, she was charge An additional 8.99For products that she did not purchase she was also charged $99 for )89 wig. These people are scammers and Overcharging customers daily. Review your receipts before you leave The store. I’m sure they’re running a scam on everyone.
