Quick Facts About La Queen Nails & Spa

Strengths:
1. Long-lasting gel: Several customers mentioned that the gel from La Queen Nails & Spa lasted longer than the gel from other nearby places. This indicates that the salon may use high-quality gel products or employ skilled technicians who apply the gel properly.
2. Affordability: The price at La Queen Nails & Spa is mentioned positively by some customers. They appreciate the reasonable rates for services such as acrylic nails and pedicures.
3. Artwork for nails: One customer mentioned that the artwork on their nails was pretty. This suggests that the salon may have talented nail artists who can create visually appealing designs.
Weaknesses:
1. Language barrier: One customer mentioned that the technician spoke no English, making it difficult for the customer to communicate their needs or concerns. This language barrier can create frustration and lead to miscommunications between the customer and the technician.
2. Rough nail treatment: A customer complained that their nails were butchered by the technician, as the sides of their nails were trimmed too close to the skin. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and proper techniques, which can result in customer dissatisfaction and discomfort.
3. Short massages: A customer mentioned that the massage during their visit lasted less than a minute for both arms. This lack of time spent on massages may decrease the overall relaxation and satisfaction that customers expect from a nail and spa place.
4. Inconsistent pricing: Several customers mentioned being overcharged or charged different prices for similar services. This inconsistency creates confusion and erodes customers' trust in the salon's pricing practices.
5. Lack of gel fills: A customer mentioned that the salon did not have gel fills, despite previously claiming they did over the phone. This indicates poor communication and inadequate knowledge of the salon's services, resulting in wasted time and disappointment for the customer.
6. Fragility of acrylic nails: Some customers complained that their acrylic nails from La Queen Nails & Spa were thin and easily broke within a few days of getting them done. This suggests a lack of skill or attention to detail in the application and maintenance of the nails, resulting in a subpar and fragile product.
7. Poor customer service: Multiple customers mentioned negative experiences with the salon's customer service. They felt that their concerns were not addressed or received dismissive responses when they complained about the quality of their services or products. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer-focused approach from the salon's staff.
To summarize, La Queen Nails & Spa has strengths in terms of long-lasting gel and affordability. However, they have weaknesses in areas such as a language barrier, rough nail treatment, short massages, inconsistent pricing, lack of gel fills, fragility of acrylic nails, and poor customer service. These weaknesses may lead to customer dissatisfaction and a negative overall experience at the salon.

so far the gel lasts longer than 2 other places I've tried nearby but my skin near the nail is peeling afterward. never had this before. also the girl spoke no English so i felt i couldn't really ask for anything or comment when she was butchering the sides of my nails right into the skin. the massage was less than 1 min for both arms. probably won't be back.
I would never go this place again. They overcharged me. $55 for gel menicure with one design without acrylic nails . My friend did same thing they charged $48. I wish i could give them zero star
I called first and asked if they did gel fills instead of acrylic and explained i was allergic to acrylic nails. He said yes. After I arrived, he removed my gel nails and then attempted to put in gel polish! I stopped him and said not to polish before putting in the gel nails. He then admitted they did not have gel fills. Waste of time. I left without any gel nails or gel polish!
I went in today to get a new set of acrylic nails. I like coming here only because the price is reasonable. So, the first lady I had kept going against how short I wanted my nails. She was trying to explain to me why my nails shouldn’t be that short and blah blah blah, I honestly did not want to hear it because I’m paying for it and if I’m asking for something that I want, just go with it. Then, they send me off to another lady who cut me and made one of my thumb’s shape different than the rest, it’s way too short than the other ones!
Don’t recommend getting acrylics here, got them done a few days ago and the lady made them so thin they have just been breaking off. Usually I last around 2 weeks+ with my nails but they didn’t even last 5 days before my first nail broke. Now it hasn’t even been a week and I have four broken nails in counting, after I already went to go get one fixed. They broke off so easily I was actually surprised, when I was closing my car door it just snapped off didn’t even hurt and another time just grabbing my bag then it broke off, I’ve never had a set that broke off so easily.
I gave them 1 star only because the artwork for my nails was pretty. However, that is the only reason they have 1 star otherwise I would give them a 0. First, I was alarmed because the station was dirty when she started my nails (acrylic dust everywhere-super thick and dirty towel), but I let her keep going because I really needed new nails (shame on me-lesson learned). Next, paying for the nails is super confusing so be ready for that. Finally, I got a brand new set put on on Thursday and on that next Tuesday, 4 days later, they started cracking. One of the nails split on this Thursday, barely a week later, and caused me to bleed. I called them to see if something can be done because it has barely been 1 week, and I was basically told oh well too bad. They said if I had come earlier they might've fixed it. I explained to them that it has BARELY been a week and that this has never happened to me before (honest truth), but they still told me oh well while laughing and then ended the call. If you still choose to go there, I hope your experience is better than mine.
I used to go here all the time when the workers did a good job. However I just went there and got a pedi, I asked for the 45$ pedi which includes some extra stuff and the guy next to me got the regular pedi ($25) he started before me and can someone tell me why I finished way before him??? He started before me and supposedly got the basic one?? I think that is so wrong what was the point of paying for theore expensive one guess I should have paid the $25. Now looking for different places in town till I find my go-to. I walked out looking like I didn't even get a scrub :/
So I went in yesterday and wanted a full set. I didn't want a fill. She didn't want to take off the old ones and redo them. I gothust the tips painted and she just made my nails look messy. Acrylic fill is less then 30 and I got my eyebrows waxed she charged me 55 dollars. Un happy this place is terrible
