Quick Facts About Ladue Nails & Spa

Ladue Nails & Spa is a nail salon that has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to determine its strengths and weaknesses, let's analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, the salon seems to have a friendly and patient staff. One customer mentioned that they were accommodating to her disabled mother and energetic daughter, which is commendable. Additionally, another customer had a positive experience with a technician named Anna, stating that she did a great job and had significant experience in the field. This suggests that some of the staff members are experienced professionals who can provide quality services.
Furthermore, the salon excels in pedicures. One customer mentioned that they had the "best pedicure" in St. Louis, implying that the salon has expertise in this area.
On the other hand, the salon also has some weaknesses. Multiple customers complained about the poor customer service they received. Some technicians were reportedly rude and did not communicate effectively with the customers. In addition, one customer mentioned that their feet hurt after the service and suspected an infection due to the salon's dirty tools. This indicates a lack of hygiene, which is a significant weakness for any salon.
Another weakness observed is in the nail services. Some customers complained about the short duration of their services, such as a 15-minute pedicure. This suggests that the salon prioritizes quick turnover rather than providing thorough and satisfying services. Several customers also mentioned that their nails broke shortly after getting them done or that the salon did not listen to their requests, resulting in unsatisfactory outcomes.
Furthermore, the salon received negative feedback regarding acrylic and gel nail removal. One customer described a painful and unsatisfactory experience with the removal process, indicating a lack of proper technique and care. This is particularly concerning as nail removal should be performed gently to avoid damaging the natural nails.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the constant push for additional sales and higher prices compared to other salons. This can create an uncomfortable and pressured environment for customers, which is a clear drawback.
Finally, one customer described a particularly bad experience, where both her and her friend had negative outcomes. This included skin damage due to improper use of a sander and rough treatment from the technicians. Stories like these can significantly damage the reputation of a salon and deter potential customers.
In conclusion, Ladue Nails & Spa has strengths in its friendly and patient staff, expertise in pedicures, and positive experiences with certain technicians. However, the salon has weaknesses in terms of customer service, cleanliness, short service durations, nail breakage, improper nail removal, pushy sales tactics, and past incidents of rough treatment. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to provide a pleasant and satisfactory experience for their customers.

I recently went and the service was TERRIBLE. My tech was really rude with me barely spoke and she was rough with my feet. My toes really hurt now and I think I have an infection from their dirty tools. If you want a pleasant self care experience I would not chose this place.
I went to one on Clayton my nails all shapes and sizes .. really disappointing. So I found Ladue nails and Anna was awesome she did a great job a veteran in her field!!!! I will be back!!!!
I called ahead and was told there was no wait. We got there twenty minutes later and there was no real wait. My mother is disabled and my daughter was six so we were kind Of a handful. No one was bothered. They were super patient and my daughter had the time of her life.
The pedicure was horrible. It lasted no more than 15 min. She basically just painted my toe nails. The manicure was a little better but i will never go back. They are worried about getting you in and out and dont care about the service.
Nails break with in the first 3 days. I gave this place 3 different tries. Twice for dip nails, once for gel nails. They also do not listen to what you want. If you break a nail and want it fixed? Better settle for uneven nails!
I came here to get my acrylics removed and I am so unhappy with how it was done. At this salon, they just used another acrylic nail to slide between my real and fake nail & ripped my acrylics off. Then I was told to wash my hands, and that was it. I paid $12 to get my nails ripped off. On top of that, they didn’t even remove the glue. When I got this done at Clayton Nail Spa, they shaved down my acrylics, soaked my nails in acetone in a heating mitt, then gently removed & were only ripped off if absolutely necessary. Then, I got nice a cuticle oil and clear polish on. If you need any type of acrylic or gel removal, go to Clayton’s Nail Spa instead. They don’t damage your nails and give you better customer service.
They did a GREAT job on my pedicure. Best I’ve had in St Louis. Everyone was polite, even thought I brought my rambunctious child and we were there close to closing. Subtracting one star for the sloppy manicure. Will try again and update
Second time was even better. Amy did an awesome job. This is now my go to nail spot in the area.
Too interested in getting people out as fast as possible to do a decent job. They're also constantly pushing for additional sales. Their prices are higher than most anyway.
I've attached photos from when I was there on June 1, 2017. I went with a friend and hers was just as bad. She had gone in with gel polish on her nails that needed to be removed and the girl working on her ground the skin around her nails to shreds with the sander. She still has scabs on her toes and fingers and was bleeding for 2 days afterwards. When she had asked to get one of her toes touched up because half the toe didn't get a second coat and you could tell, the girl got even rougher with the sander.
Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. Nail salons are all over the place.
