Quick Facts About Ryan's Chair

Ryan's Chair Place receives a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insights into its strengths and weaknesses.
One clear strength of Ryan's Chair Place is its professionalism and skilled barbers. Multiple comments mention the professionalism of the staff, noting that they are skilled and provide great cuts. The barbers are described as friendly and make customers feel comfortable. This professionalism is further highlighted by the fact that the barbers are efficient and can complete cuts quickly, allowing customers to get in and out in a timely manner.
Another strength mentioned is the welcoming atmosphere and sense of community. The comment about regulars being treated like family indicates that Ryan's Chair Place creates a warm and friendly environment for its customers. This contributes to a positive overall experience and encourages customer loyalty. Additionally, the fact that some customers mention the good conversation and up-to-date knowledge of city news from the barbers highlights the effort made to engage with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
The positive comments also mention specific barbers who provide excellent service. These individual endorsements indicate that Ryan's Chair Place has skilled and talented barbers who are able to meet a variety of customer requests and preferences. The positive experiences customers have had with specific barbers reflect positively on the overall quality of the establishment.
Despite these strengths, there are clear weaknesses evident in some of the comments. One significant weakness is the negative experience described by a customer who had a bad haircut. This customer had requested a specific style, but the barber did not deliver the desired result and, in fact, made the customer's hair look messy. The additional altercation and insults from the barber, as well as the owner's lack of appropriate response, further emphasize the weakness in customer service and professionalism in dealing with complaints or issues.
The negative comment also highlights a lack of accountability and responsibility on the part of the owner, Ryan. The customer expressed disappointment in Ryan's lack of recognition and acknowledgement of the problem. This suggests a weakness in leadership, as the owner did not take appropriate action to address the customer's concerns or hold the barber accountable for his behavior.
Another weakness that can be inferred from these comments is inconsistency in service quality. While some customers had positive experiences with skilled barbers, the negative comment suggests that there may be a lack of consistency in the quality of haircuts provided.
In terms of strengths, Ryan's Chair Place is praised for being appointment only, which could be seen as a positive for those who prefer a more structured and organized experience. Additionally, the comment about supporting a nephew's place of business reflects a sense of loyalty and community support.
Overall, Ryan's Chair Place has strengths in terms of professionalism, skilled barbers, a welcoming atmosphere, and community support. However, weaknesses emerge in instances of poor customer service, lack of leadership, and inconsistent service quality. It is important for the business to address these weaknesses in order to maintain and improve its reputation.

Was there for other business with his father who does obituary and he did awesome job very happy with his expertise thank you.
The owner has been cutting my hair for years and always dose a great job. Also great conversation on what's going on in city and curent news.
Asked for a bald fade. The barber, a tall black man about 6 feet 2 inches, very dark, in his 30s showed me photos of varius hair cuts. I chose the bald fade. When I was in the military, a bald fade took 25 minutes to do. He finished in 5 minutes & handed me the mirror. I was SHOCKED beyond comprehension.. My hair was F---ed up! I thought he was pulling my leg but this fool was serious. I told him this haircut was NOT in anyway what I wanted.. He asked what was wrong and I told him that I wanted a bald fade & that one side of my head was sparse and the otherside wasnt even faded. He grabbed the mirror from me & stated that he would fix it. 2 minutes later, he handed me the mirror.. Reluctantly, I took the mirror and dared to investigate. When I looked what I saw was a mess that only my 2 year son should get away with. I was astonished and angered but I tried to keep it to myself. Unfortunately, the guilt of this mans conscience weighed heavily on him and saw my subtle reaction anyway. When he did, he unleashed a barage of expletives and disparaging remarks I have only heard come from a random episode of (locked up)
This (barber) went off as though I just insulted his mother telling me that I just wanted a free haircut and that I could just (get the F out of his shop. As he was bombarding me with insults he began walking up to the front of the shop. Mind you, I was SHOCKED and speechless at the belligerence this barber was unleasing upon me. It was absolutely surreal. But it gets worse.
I walked up to the front with him because this was the only entrance and exit this establishment had.
So I had no other alternative.
One I reached the front, I then turned to one of the owners by the name of Ryan. I didnt have to say much because as I was trying to get his attention, this barber was STILL bombarding me with insults. At this point Ryan began laughing as though this was amusing to him. It was as though I was in the 3rd grade. I couldnt believe these idiots were in business. The more I tried to talk sense to these (thugs) the more belligerent the barber became to the point that he threatened me by asking me to step outside so he could kick my A--, and Ryan, the owner, laughed as though he was in a comedy club.
FED UP. I demanded Ryan reprimand this barber or I was going to contact the police dept. It was then that his brother, the co-owner, checked Ryans inappropriateness, told his barber to go back to his station and offered to cut my hair the way it should have been done in the first place.. He cut my hair precisely the way I wanted, I left and went home and contacted the police department filing a report about this incident. I have yet to press charges against this THUG because I was hoping that the owners at Ryans chair would sober up from their epic drunken stuper and do the right thing. But Today, by chance I was in walmart and recognized Ryan from his shop. Its difficult to forget a face like his given it was associated with such a vile encounter. I approached him and asked him who he was to reassure who I was remembering.. He confirmed that he was indeed the owner I encountered at Ryans chair. I wasted no time getting to the point and asked if he handled his employee in the proper manner. He remarked, (I didnt believe there WAS a problem).
I immediately informed him that in that case, he has lost my respect, I would never come to his hole in the wall again and that I would inform others of this incident to save them from the THUGGERY I experienced at his (hole in the wall)
He remarked that I am always welcomed there and that he forgave this man who was a struggling soul. I told him that he was irresponsible, reckless, and I was insulted that he would EVER think that I would want to return to his ghetto establishment reiterating that he will never gain my respect ever again. I have decided to reconsider pressing charges against the belligerent barber for his direct threats against me...
Appointment only type business that provides a good quick cut @ a decent price. Plus it's my nephew's place of business.
My boys went there and got a nice cut from Damon...great neighborhood spot...will continue to support...????
I go to get my face beat by the best, Bran Rivers! 5 stars just isn't enough ❤️
