The comments above provide a range of opinions about the strengths and weaknesses of Liberty Inn place. To summarize, the strengths mentioned include the location near amenities such as a grocery store and running/biking routes, affordable rates, and the availability of basic amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, and hot water. The staff is also mentioned positively in a few comments.
However, there are numerous weaknesses highlighted in the comments. The most concerning one is the issue of bedbugs mentioned in two different comments. This poses a significant health and hygiene risk, and the fact that one commenter found a bedbug crawling on their arm after being bitten is particularly alarming. Another issue mentioned by multiple commenters is the cleanliness of the rooms, with reports of an unpleasant smell and the need for guests to bring their own sheets, pillows, and blankets.
There are also concerns about the maintenance of the hotel, such as water pressure issues in the showers and doors that have a lot of play. Furthermore, the security measures at the entrance, with bulletproof glass and the need to be buzzed in, may make some guests feel uncomfortable. Lastly, one commenter mentions the age of the building and challenges with pest control, which can further contribute to cleanliness and hygiene issues.
In terms of pricing, there are contrasting opinions. Some commenters feel that the price is fair for what is offered, especially considering it is the least expensive option in the area. However, others believe that the prices are inflated for the quality provided and mention other local options that may offer better value for money.

However, there are significant weaknesses such as cleanliness issues, reports of bedbugs, maintenance problems, and concerns about security and pest control. These weaknesses should be seriously considered by potential guests to make an informed decision about staying at this hotel.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The floor was gross, shower was gross. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent and what little pressure they had, would shut off while you were using it if someone else in the hotel turn on theirs. And last but not least, bedbugs! Yep. I stayed on this bed for only 3 hours and was torn up. I even found one crawling on my arm after biting me. Needless to say we left. I had to wash any dry everything on the highest heat setting before I went into my new hotel room. Which is much better. Please for the love of God, do not stay in this hotel.
The room looked clean but it the smell was awful. The room had not been aired out in sometime. The smoking rooms should be situated on a row by themselves. I went back and got my own sheets, pillows and blankets. Internet speed lacking. Good enough place to sleep and that's it. For the price it should be more....
I stay in hotels 10-days at a time. This place is great. They have everything I need, the rate is perfect, and they're in walking distance from a grocery store. There's plenty of great running/biking routes through neighborhoods in the area. The staff is really nice and accommodating.
For what it is it should be about half the price of what it is. First the entryway you have to be buzzed in. Then when you actually get to the guy inside it's bullet proof glass. My room the door had a lot of play as well as the entire exterior wall. Most of the hotels in the vicinity of the Vogtle plant have inflated prices but this one is pretty egregious.
Dollar-for-dollar, this Motel is pretty much what one would expect for contractors temporarily supporting the Vogtle nuclear plant. Prefer a local chain Hotel in Waynesboro? Be prepared to pay about $200 more per week. Prefer less expensive housing in Augusta? Be prepared for the longer drive. The advantages of staying at the Liberty Inn: very close to Plant Vogtle, approximately 20.0 miles. Walmart is about 3 miles away. The least expensive motel in Waynesboro. Disadvantages: This is an old, roadside motel. One never knows who their neighbors will be. Also, being an older building, pest control is a challenge. The bedding is exactly what you'd expect from a facility that looks to be 45 to 60 years old. Conclusion: figure out if the risks associated with staying at the cheapest/closest are worth the safety otherwise provided by more healthy but more expensive housing. It's been worth it for me so far....
Nice clean place to stay. I stayed while working in the area. Had everything I needed. Microwave, refrigerator with freezer, plenty of hot water and a clean bed. The owner is a very nice and honest man also.
Rude, rooms unclean an beds crawling with bedbugs. Informed staff an was told if I didn't like it to leave. Then they refused my refund had to dispute it with my back.
The room was the best this is my first time in this place and state never been. Here before the bed was wonderful. Sleep very Good
