Quick Facts About Lupita Nail Salon

Lupita Nail Salon has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths mentioned by a customer is the technician named Mary, who was described as very sweet and provided good service for acrylic nails. This indicates that there are competent and friendly staff members who can deliver satisfactory results.
The commenter who has been a long-time customer gave the salon a glowing review, mentioning that they have never experienced any damage to their nails or cuticles. They also appreciate the cleanliness and certification of the salon, as well as the affordability and high quality of the services provided. This feedback suggests that Lupita Nail Salon has built a loyal customer base over the years, likely due to consistent and satisfactory services.
However, there are notable weaknesses mentioned in the comments that should be addressed. The most concerning weakness is the issue of language barriers and the resulting communication problems. One customer mentioned that the staff does not speak English very well, which can lead to misunderstandings and frustration. Language barriers can negatively impact the overall customer experience and may result in miscommunication regarding the desired services or expectations.
Another weakness highlighted by multiple customers is the issue of inconsistent service quality. One commenter mentioned that the salon used to have a skilled technician for acrylic nails, but she is no longer there. This suggests that there may be turnover or inconsistency in the staff members' skills, which can lead to variable outcomes for customers. Additionally, another customer mentioned that they experienced a botchy and bumpy acrylic fill-in, indicating that the quality of work may not always meet expectations.
There are also negative comments regarding customer service. One commenter felt that they were discriminated against when the staff turned them away based on their appearance, while another customer mentioned that they encountered a rude and unprofessional attitude from the staff. These incidents reflect poorly on the salon's reputation and suggest a need for improvement in customer service and professionalism.
Price inflation was mentioned by a customer who felt that they were charged more than necessary for a service. This raises concerns about transparency and fairness in pricing, as well as the potential for overcharging customers. These issues can contribute to a negative perception of the salon and may lead to customers seeking alternative options.
It is worth noting that there is a positive review from a customer who had a great experience in the past, specifically for a prom nail design. This indicates that Lupita Nail Salon has the potential to deliver exceptional results and satisfy customers' specific requests. However, it is important for the salon to consistently provide quality services and address the weaknesses mentioned above in order to improve the overall customer experience.
In conclusion, while Lupita Nail Salon has certain strengths such as skilled technicians, loyal customers, and the ability to deliver exceptional results for specific requests, there are notable weaknesses that should be addressed. These include language barriers, inconsistent service quality, negative customer service experiences, price inflation, and potential issues with professionalism. By addressing these weaknesses and striving for continuous improvement, Lupita Nail Salon can enhance its reputation and provide a better overall experience for its customers.

Best TL Reviews

Terrible service !!! Doesn’t speak English much. Took so long on my eyebrows ripped skin from my eye lid and over charged . I won’t go back here
Muy mala experiencia la verdad, los precios están demasiado altos para el resultado del trabajo, fui por uñas acrilicas, pero no creo volver, ya no está la chica que si las hacia muy bien ...no lo recomiendo ..
Mary was very sweet , she took my acrylic nails and was super provisional. Its a little pricey but was good
I walked in and the people are rasist. They saw that I was not Mexican and turned me away. When I called him on the phone and they told me they do walk-ins
I give it 10 Stars if I could! if you get your nails done often you know that a lot of places mess up your actual nail bed I have been going here for years and they have never damaged my nail bed or my cuticles they have never messed up on me they are clean they are certified and they do a beautiful amazing job I love all the people that work there, not only is it affordable but it's high quality I have never been overcharged and I will go here for years to come!
I have gone to Lupita’s nail before about 2x when I lived in South Minneapolis. After I moved I couldn't find a nail shop I liked around me and the shop I liked was even further so I decided to go back to Lupita’s nails since they were closer and the last 2x I was there I liked the service. I took my sister with me because she needed a fill in and I wanted a new set of acrylics. First of all the fill in was done by another girl we have never met before she cut my sister when she was using the drill the acrylic fill in was botchy and bumpy and charged her $45 for the fill in when it wasn't gel just normal polish she inflated the price but we didn't argue and paid. We have never gone back due to the inflation. The girl said they were having a slow day due to the rain and I think this was the reason. That is very unprofessional for the owner to not say anything is even worse. I have nothing to say about the acrylic set I got only for the other employee. For this reason we no longer go to Lupita’s. It was not about the money we have gone to shops where a full set has cost more than $75 it was the unprofessionalism, the lack of drill skill, the botchy nail job, and the price inflation because they were having a slow day.
Over all they are good technicians but they have really bad customer service. They seemed like they had a attitude and got frustrated when I wanted more than one color and wanted more money. When I saw her chip the paint she said I did it and didn't fix the nail. Then wanted a tip.
(This was a couple of years ago) I came here with a family friend and boy was I happy to have gone here! I had gotten my nails done here for prom and they came out just beautifully. I recieved so many compliments on them and my nails looked so dazzling and flawless. I had described to her what my dress looked like and what jewelry I was going to wear and her results did not disappoint. Thank you so much!!
