Quick Facts About LinGui Chinese Restaurant
LinGui Chinese Restaurant has received a range of comments, providing insights into its strengths and weaknesses. In order to analyze these comments, it is important to consider them in terms of the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant's food, service, ambience, menu options, and pricing.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentions that the service at LinGui Chinese Restaurant is great. The customers appreciated the pleasant and helpful attitude of the staff, specifically highlighting their willingness to accommodate extra requests and provide all the necessary utensils. Another comment states that the food was satisfactory, indicating that there is at least one aspect of the restaurant that meets customers' expectations. Additionally, a long-standing customer mentions that they continue to frequent the establishment due to the amazing food and service, suggesting some consistency in quality over the years.
Moving on to the weaknesses, a common complaint is about the food at LinGui Chinese Restaurant. One customer describes it as horrible, mentioning that their chicken and shrimp fried rice dishes were actually filled with boiled yellow rice and boiled chicken pieces. They also include photos to support their claim, indicating a lack of authenticity and poor quality in the dishes. Another customer mentions that the pork fried rice was just yellow rice, indicating a lack of proper ingredients or seasoning. Similarly, another comment reports that the food was cooked but very bland, lacking in flavor. This suggests that the restaurant may struggle with inconsistency in taste and not meeting customers' expectations in terms of flavor and authenticity.
Another weakness highlighted by a customer is the fact that LinGui Chinese Restaurant can get crowded due to its popularity. While this may speak to the overall appeal of the food, it can also result in a less comfortable dining experience, potentially leading to longer wait times and reduced customer satisfaction. Additionally, another downside mentioned by a customer is the limited menu options due to the restaurant being the only one in the area. This lack of choice may deter potential customers who prefer a wider range of options from different establishments.
Furthermore, a negative review from a new customer states that they found the food to be inedible. They ordered various dishes, including lo mein, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, pot stickers, egg rolls, and crab rangoons, but were disappointed with the taste, lack of seasoning, and low quality. The customer felt that everything tasted pre-made and boiled, with no flavor or proper seasoning applied. This negative experience highlights a significant weakness of the restaurant in terms of its food quality, taste, and consistency.
Finally, a customer comments that LinGui Chinese Restaurant is acceptable for a quick lunch, but not for a quality meal. They mention that the egg rolls were very hard, indicating a potential issue with consistency and overall preparation. Additionally, the customer felt that the pricing was more in line with a buffet, suggesting that the value for money may not be satisfactory for a sit-down meal.
In conclusion, the strengths of LinGui Chinese Restaurant lie in its great service, accommodating staff, and the loyalty of long-standing customers who appreciate the food and service. However, the weaknesses of the restaurant are evident in the negative comments about the food, such as the lack of authenticity, blandness, poor taste, and inconsistency in quality and preparation. Additionally, some customers mention overcrowding and limited menu options as further drawbacks. These weaknesses need to be addressed in order for LinGui Chinese Restaurant to improve its reputation and overall customer experience.

Horrible food. Nothing Chinese or fried about it. Ordered chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice received boiled yellow rice with boiled chicken pieces on top. Same with the shrimp. See photos. Awful
The cashier was nice but the food was extremely disappointing. I always order pepper stake in every Chinese restaurant I go and this one was the worst. Also, the "pork fried rice" was just yellow rice. First and last time I come to this place.

It's a little crowded but great food
The only downside of the place is it's the only one that is in the area so you don't get much choice but what thay have and no delivery.
I would give this place a zero if I could I'm new to town and have a big family ordered 3 different types of lo mein, orange chicken and chicken fried rice pot stickers egg rolls and grab ragoons none of it was edible it tasted like everything was pre-made and then boiled no seasoning or flavor the orange chicken tasted like tomato soup the noodles where going bad tasted of moldy vegetables the crab ragoons had no crab and it was just horrible spent over 80 dollars to be unedible we had to throw out almost all of it
My family and I have been eating there for years and still are going there. The food and service is still Amazing.
The service was really pleasant. The two people running the restaurant were very helpful in understanding what exactly it was I was ordering. The food was just sub par. Egg rolls were very hard. I finished my entire plate I ordered but the price was more of a buffet pricing as opposed to what, I'm sorry to say, was not a very satisfying meal. It's an acceptable place for a quick lunch but not a quality meal.
