Quick Facts About Crawfish Hole

Strengths:
1. Amazing Food: The majority of the comments state that the food at Crawfish Hole is absolutely amazing. Customers praise the flavors, seasoning, and freshness of the crawfish and other dishes such as crab cakes and shrimp. The food is described as lip-smacking good and flavorful.
2. Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff: Multiple comments mention the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. They not only assist with explaining how to eat crawfish but also go above and beyond in accommodating families with young children, providing a positive and welcoming dining experience.
3. Local and Simple Establishment: Customers appreciate the fact that Crawfish Hole is a local and simple establishment. It adds a charm to the restaurant and makes it unique compared to larger chain restaurants. This is seen as a strength as it gives customers a more authentic local experience.
4. Good Value for Money: Many comments mention that the prices for the crawfish and other dishes are reasonable and offer good value for money. Customers feel that they are getting their money's worth for the quality and quantity of food they receive.
5. Attention to COVID-19 Safety: In a time when there is a deadly pandemic happening, customers appreciate that Crawfish Hole takes the necessary steps to prioritize the safety and well-being of its customers. The restaurant is praised for its efforts in following COVID-19 protocols and creating a safe dining environment.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent Portion Sizes: One comment mentions a discrepancy between the amount of crawfish received and the expected portion size. The customer received less crawfish than they paid for and expressed dissatisfaction with the inclusion of unnecessary items such as onions and lemons. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in portion sizes, which can be a weakness for the restaurant.
2. Limited Menu Options: One comment states that they initially avoided visiting Crawfish Hole because they believed the restaurant only served crawfish, which they don't eat. This indicates that the restaurant's limited menu options or perceived lack of variety may discourage potential customers who prefer other types of seafood or dishes.
3. Lack of Vegetable Options: While the majority of comments praise the quality of the seafood, one customer specifically mentions their appreciation for the potatoes and corn not being mushy. This implies that there may be a lack of vegetable options or less emphasis on their quality, which could be a weakness for customers who value a well-rounded boil, including the vegetable components.
4. Mixed Reviews on Onion Inclusion: While some comments express enjoyment in eating the onions that soak up the flavors of the crawfish boil, others may find the inclusion of onions and other "unnecessary stuff" to be undesirable. The mixed reviews on this aspect suggest that the use of onions in the boil may be a subjective preference, which may not please all customers.
Overall, the strengths of Crawfish Hole include its amazing food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, local and simple establishment, good value for money, and attention to COVID-19 safety measures. The weaknesses primarily revolve around inconsistencies in portion sizes, limited menu options, potential lack of vegetable options, and mixed reviews on the inclusion of onions in the boil.

Best TL Reviews

The food was absolutely amazing as well as the staff. Driving from Colorado to Florida for a family emergency was putting a strain on our 2yr old and when she got fussy they where there to help us out! Will definitely stop in again on our way back
Simple and local establishment serving some amazing dishes especially the crawfish. It was our first time having crawfish and the restaurant was so nice to even show us how to eat it and what to dip it with.
We started with 2lbs for 2 people but eventually ordered 2lbs more for lunch. Price was around $20 for 2lbs.
The crab cakes and sausages were also good appetizer to start with.
Nice place to take the family and friends. Food is surprisingly good for college town restaurant.
I PAID FOR 5LBS OF CRAWFISH, I GOT ABOUT 3LBS OF CRAWFISH TOTAL THE REST WERE ONIONS,LEMONS, AND WHATEVER UNNECESSARY STUFF THEY ADD TO THE CRAWFISH BOIL!! IF YOU AT GOING TO CHARGE 10$ FOR A POUND OF CRAWFISH AT LEAST DONT GIP YOUR CUSTOMERS!! THEY ARE PAYING FOR CRAWFISH NOT YOUR LEMONS ONIONS AND ECT.!!
Three words: lip smacking good. Very flavorful. I even ate the onions cause onions are delicious, why wouldn’t people eat the onions that soaked up all that deliciousness?
Crawfish was good and shrimp were nice and firm. Potatoes and corn were NOT mushy and falling apart which is always nice to see as there are people like me who appreciate the vegetable part of the boil. ???????? ???? ????
On another note, it feels good to see a business striving to do their best and keep their people safe during a time where we have a deadly pandemic happening. Going to a place where you have to eat with your hands isn’t the most appealing right now, but Crawfish Hole tries hard and kindly for people to abide by covid protocols which helps people feel safe.
The crawfish were a nice size and seasoned very good! The price isn't bad.
Visiting from texas with my husband . First time here (for me) crawfish were fresh and seasoned very well . Got the 10lb special which included corn and potatoes . Will be coming back again . Staff was very kind as well .
Never been because I thought all they had was crawfish and I don't eat them. The fish was so good and the potato salad was the best I have ever had!! Service was good and the customer service. You've got to eat there if you get a chance. They say the crawfish is the best around! ????‍♂️
