Quick Facts About Paradise Nails & Spa
Paradise Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments.
One of the strengths mentioned in the comments is the accommodating nature of Paradise Nails & Spa. One customer mentioned that they made an appointment at a different salon but due to long wait times and an unpleasant environment, they decided to try Paradise Nails & Spa on short notice. The customer was pleased that they were able to be taken in right away and that the salon was clean and had a relaxing environment. Another customer appreciated the friendly staff and mentioned that they would recommend the salon to others.
However, there are several weaknesses mentioned as well. One customer had a negative experience with the cleanliness of the salon. They mentioned that the ceiling tiles were brown, there was black mold in the restroom, and dust everywhere. They also mentioned that some of the tools used by the salon were visibly old and overused. Another customer mentioned that the nails done at the salon were of poor quality, with thick and bulky gel polish and old acrylic used. They also mentioned that their nail broke shortly after leaving the salon. In addition, this customer felt that they were not given prompt service compared to other customers and speculated that it may be due to their race. Another customer mentioned that their nails were often hit or miss, with some good experiences and some very bad experiences. They mentioned instances of using cheap polish that left bubbles, gel manicures peeling off, and clear coat not applied properly. They also mentioned that the quality of the massages offered was not impressive.
Despite the negative experiences, there were a few positive comments about specific nail technicians at Paradise Nails & Spa. One customer mentioned that a specific technician, Jenny, had been doing their nails for the last 10 years and that they were always pleased with her service. Another customer mentioned that they had a positive experience with a technician named Sonya who provided a lengthy mani pedi with a long massage.
Overall, based on the comments, Paradise Nails & Spa has strengths in terms of accommodating customers on short notice, having friendly staff, and providing good service from specific nail technicians. However, there are weaknesses in terms of cleanliness and sanitation, quality of nail services, and inconsistent experiences. It is suggested that customers weigh these factors before deciding to visit Paradise Nails & Spa.

We made appt to try a salon up the street. The place was packed, smelled and after waiting over 15 minutes I luckily called Paradise nails. They said they could accommodate us on short notice and drove a few minutes and were taken right in. Thankful they were not as busy, they were clean, didn't smell and had a relaxing environment. We both got the upgraded pedi spa packages they offered and manicures and they got us out in time. Would recommend them to others. Friendly staff too.
First time here but won’t be back. The techs are very competent and do a great job but a sanitary and clean environment is definitely not on the owners’ priority list. Ceiling tiles are brown, black mold in the restroom, dust everywhere, and the worst part: some of the tools they use are visibly old and overused. As soon as I sat down, I couldn’t wait to leave. I felt disgusting. Not the best feeling when you are hoping to have a relaxing experience. Recommend Flora de Nails down the road instead.
This place do nails awful! Let me tell you the Honest truth the staff here are very nice and very good customer service, but they do the worst nails I normally go here for the convince and get my feet done but when I got my nails done I have got an overlay and the gel polish was so thick and bulky! Then when I left the nail shop my NAIL BROKE!! How in the world!?? I called them back and they told me to come back but I rather not because I never had this happen to me I just paid all this money for my nails and it broke in the car, they have bad and old acrylic. Also if you come in to get your eyebrows done Tina make you wait for like an hr just for brows but as I was sitting there observing she took other woman in very fast who came to get their eyebrows done which was white and I wonder is it because I’m black she didn’t care about servicing me fast, or it could of been she have her favorite customers but either way it’s not right and that surprised me.
But I wanted to leave this review because I was disappointed in the service and I prefer not to even let them fix my broken nail I will go to someone else because the nails they do are not good, and My nails are out of shape !
Jenny has been doing my nails for the last 10 years. She's a excellent nail tech! I always make appointments before going because if not you'll be waiting for a while. I'm never disappointed with her service. Looking for quality? Ask for Jenny!
Hit or miss. I've had great nails done here and also very very bad.
One time they used a cheap polish that left bubbles on each of my nails. Then I learned which brands to use and avoid and I never had that problem again.
One time they did a gel manicure with a cheap old drier and the polish peeled off three days later. They were kind enough to fix my nails free of charge. They weren't thrilled when I asked them to recut my cuticles, but they did it. (I didn't want to make my nails week from having to get a 3rd gel manicure that month because they would be too thin, and cuticle cutting helps them last longer.)
Another time they painted a clear coat on parts of the nail and missed other parts and left a visible diagonal line on parts of my nails. That was pretty awful. (The man in his 40s who usually wears a baseball cap did that.)
There have been good experiences too. Sonya does a nice long almost 2-hour mani pedi with a long massage (that I'm too impatient for but people seem to love her.) And the husband and wife usually do a good job painting, and cheap!
I wish they would do mini manicures (clean, shape nails, but without massage) because the quality of the massages just aren't impressive. They wont do them though. If I go here I have to clean cut and shape my nails myself, which is a lot of work.
But after this last incident with the diagonal polish, I'll be looking for a new place.
Came to get my natural gel nails changed to a different color/style, $30 for French tip, with 2 different greens. She took her time doing it , and I was in and out. Very professional and affordable price
Anyone that posted a bad review obviously are not talking about the location on E. Commercial Blvd in Oakland Park. You're NEVER required to pay first, nor is there any old lady or rudeness here. None of that happens in this one. I've been following Anna and Jenny for years. I've always been very pleased and impressed with the overall place and atmosphere and their professionalism. I've been a loyal customer to Anna for years and have proven that by continuing to follow her wherever she goes. There's no better person who can do Pedicures as she does. She is truly the BEST. If you want the best in Nails see Jenny. CHECK THEM OUT
so two and a half weeks ago i went to go get individual eyelashes done and they lasted about 1 week and a half and they started falling out but when they started falling out i realized that my real lashes were coming out with the fake ones i started freaking out she told me i was going to have a few come out and i was okay with that but they started coming out in clumps i asked the lady please don't get the glue in my eyes and she did! it was burning really bad and she didn't care at all i was surprised how careless they were with me and rude she over charged me for a terrible job she applied the eyelashes on my actual lash and the entire time i had them on my eyes were so sore bc the fake lashes were pulling on my eyelashes overall the place doesn’t kno how to do lashes or nails i got acrylics here and they were completely uneven DONT COME HERE unless you trying to waist your money
