Unfortunately, this space is so cramped that it is near impossible to truly look for items if more than 3-4 people are in here. Same with getting assistance. The young lady helped me as much as she could but with other customers breathing down her neck for help, I was limited on time/questions with her. The person behind the counter was a little helpful but couldn't do much because she had to stay at the register. It was a first time for me as I thought it was close proximity to work but I'll drive further for better.
The store plays music where there's black rappers who are calling women B words spoke to the salesperson who could care less basically told me it wasn't my store and then one of the appear to be Vietnamese or Korean women came up in a gangsta Lean sliding her head from left to right greeting with a grit on her face look like a jailhouse prison mug basically they were rude and considerate and some of the women that work in the neighborhood some of the professionals came and said to him the solution is do not play that music. Very rude will never shop there again
I came to this store on 04/01/22 to purchase hair for braiding. I asked if the hair could be returned and the lady stated yes within 7 days of the purchase date. I stated to her that I did not want to purchase the hair if it could not be returned. I purchased the hair for $200. I tried to return the hair today (with the receipt, not opened, not used, etc.) and was told that I could only get a store credit or exchange the hair for something else. Again, I would not have purchased the hair if it could not be returned. I don't need $200 worth of beauty supply products. I called and spoke with the owner; he stated that they could not refund my purchase. He proceeded to say to me that this isn't Walmart (yes, he said Walmart, you can read between the lines) and that this is the policy for all of the beauty supply stores. I told him that I have made purchases at other beauty supply stores (in Atlanta, Snellville, etc.) and have been able to return items (with a receipt, not used, brand new, never opened, etc.). I am now out of $200. Again, I don't need $200 worth of anything from any beauty supply store...
I used to go here all the time, Apparently this store has new owners, the new owners don’t care about customer service at all! Their policies are different every time! Very disappointing. This will be my last time visiting this place.
I'm being polite by giving it a two stars only because he greeted me in the beginning. However, while I was browsing the store the clerk was watching me the entire time and that did not make me feel very welcome at all. You don't hawk eye your clients down the isles and think that's appropriate.
It got worse when I got to the cashier. Both the cashier and the clerk were having a full blow conversation and neither of them said anything to me when I said hello. I felt completely disrespected and invisible. And the clerk sat there the entire time eye balling me, but clearly didn't like it very much when I did it back to him. What is wrong with your business?! From beginning to end was a highly uncomfortable experience.
I only came here since I was in the area and after this fiasco I won't be coming back. Completely terrible.
I love going to this beauty supply store they have good customer service and tiffany make sure her workers take care of every customer and they have very great deals.
I literally shop here all the time, at least every two week. My usual go to store is angies which I love so much. But because this store in so convenient for me and In my area I decided to start shopping here. However after today I will not ever step foot in this store! I am a loyal customer who always pay for my things!! After a long day of work I do not need their employees stalking me while I look for my items. While looking for my hair color the guy literally stood their watched me then pretended to reorganize the shelve! While on the phone with my mother I explain how uncomfortable I was and I walked out peacefully without buying anything!! I am now on my way to angies!!
I would not patronize this store, I felt victimize while shopping black by one of the employees. Walked in the store to purchase a product that I knew where it was located. While squatting to pick out my hair color that was located on lower level. The young man was standing over me, i was asked may I help you and I told him no. He proceeded to stand over me. I politely walked out of the store without making a purchase. I refuse to spend my hard earn money in a store that racially profile the black customers. They come in our neighborhood and set up shop but can't trust us. I don't have to steal anything, I work for whatever I want.
