Quick Facts About Madeira Beach Cafe

The Madeira Beach Cafe has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, the cafe offers a piece of home far from home, indicating that it creates a sense of comfort and familiarity for customers. This is likely due to the use of favorite Portuguese coffee brands and the availability of Portuguese grocery items. The friendly staff also contribute to the positive experience, making customers feel welcome and valued.
One notable strength is the option to enjoy meals at the cafe. Customers mention that the food is first class and commend the cafe for its lunch meals and sweet snacks. The emphasis on meat in their menu is seen as a positive aspect for those who enjoy it. Additionally, the cafe offers a variety of well-liked Portuguese pastries, including the popular custard tarts. This diverse selection of food and drinks ensures that customers have plenty of options to choose from and can find something they enjoy.
The cafe also has a spacious interior with seven tables, providing ample seating for customers. This is a positive attribute as it allows customers to find a comfortable spot to enjoy their coffee or meal. The presence of fresh products in the fridges further indicates that the cafe is committed to providing high-quality and fresh ingredients.
In terms of operating hours, the cafe opens at 8:00 a.m. six days a week and 9:00 a.m. on Sundays. This extended operating time enables customers to visit the cafe at their convenience, whether it is for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon coffee. The availability of Portuguese football highlights on the flat-screen TV is also appreciated by customers who enjoy the sport, adding to the overall experience.
Despite the positive feedback, there are some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One reviewer describes the cafe as dirty, expensive, and highlights the issue of the staff not speaking English and being rude. These negative aspects can impact the overall experience for customers, as cleanliness, price, and customer service are important factors in their satisfaction.
Additionally, one reviewer mentions that taking photos can only be done outside the cafe. While this may not be a significant weakness, it may limit the overall experience for customers who enjoy capturing their moments within the cafe's unique atmosphere.
Overall, the Madeira Beach Cafe has several strengths, including the ability to create a sense of home away from home, a good selection of food and drinks, friendly staff, and a spacious interior. However, there are weaknesses to address, such as cleanliness, pricing, customer service, and the limitations on taking photos within the cafe. These areas of improvement can help enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction at the cafe.

Best TL Reviews

A piece of home far from home. My favourite coffee brand, all my favourite Portuguese grocery items and friendly staff. Can't wait for them to start serving meals again.
Flavio is very friendly and professional, there's a spacious double aspect coffee shop with seven tables, and there's a good selection of Portuguese products and also fresh products in the fridges! The cafe is open from 8:00 a.m. 6 days a week and 9:00 a.m. Sunday
Food is first class, a great place for lunch meals and / or sweet snacks. They go heavy on the meat ( a good thing) and if you enjoy pastries then there is always a very nice selection that includes Salame de chocolate (chocolate salami), Guardanapos ( sponge cake shaped as a napkin and the ever popular Pasteis de Nata (custard tarts).
BTW. Portuguese football highlights always seem to be available on the flat screen telly.
Lovely cafe with that all important Aire of feeling like your somewhere different, enjoyable. Good place if you feel you must or should break away from the boring high street chains
An excellent slice of Madeira in southwest London. Regular visitor.
Dirty, expensive and they don't even espeak English but they are very rude
Beach ambience aura gets you wishing it was summer
all year round at this cafe on the corner.
Authentic expresso at the beach cafe
makes me want to drink a cup all day.
Nice place to sit and be happy,
and it makes me want to clap, clap, clap and be snapshot glad and snappy.
Only outside the cafe can the photos be taken,
So a quick drink and that's it, if I am not mistaken.
