In conclusion, Matou Hair Braiding Center has strengths in terms of professionalism, skill and quality, reasonable pricing, teamwork and efficiency, as well as cleanliness and safety. However, there are some weaknesses regarding appointment availability, wait time, slow service, limited availability for walk-ins, and the potential lack of a bustling atmosphere. Overall, the strengths of Matou Hair Braiding Center seem to outweigh the weaknesses, as customers were generally satisfied with the services provided.

Made an appt & was seated when I arrived at my appt time. The ladies were very professional & gave me what I wanted. $200 for the length I have & the ombre. If I wanted longer it cost $20 extra. The ladies work well together. Thank you all.
Service is absolutely amazing my hair is braided neatly and not tight. The wait was long because they had quiet a few customers and even with that I enjoyed the movies. I would definitely recommend them because of their price and skills. They were able to cornrow my hair neatly even though the sides of my natural hair was thin
Extremely professional, great team of women, great prices they take their time with your hair and cater to your wants as much as possible. Took care of my daughter and I very well from start to finish ( we got box braids one waist length and one mid back length) were very friendly and communicative. Nice clean salon bathroom was so clean and spotless. The Nigerian movies were a great bonus. A+ all around Braiding Salon. Will definitely go again. Thank You Mantou and Team!!
I have been going to Matou for sometime now, it is always a great experience. The ladies in there are friendly and professional. I've been to other locations where the stylist was rude, eating over your head, combing your hair from the roots... never had any problems here. I dont go any where else. If I did have to complain, it would be making appointments because they are always so busy. However I wouldn't want them to change that, because it keeps the volume of people in the shop at one time, DOWN. No stepping over bodies here lol! I have recommended them to my friends and family alike <3
They see you by appointment, which I love. When you arrive someone will start working on your hair in 15 minutes or less. The prices are reasonable, pretty much what most others charge. The staff is pleasant and polite. I consider this spot a good find.
I called at the last minute to verify if I would be able to come in today to get my hair done, and Matou allowed me to come in with no issue as she had availability!
I asked for crochet, and when I arrived I explained to her about my "strudges" (struggle edges) and she assured me she wouldn't pull them, and she definitely did not!
She did my hair to perfection, and I'm very appreciative of her and the salons care and cleanliness! They endured they wiped down the chairs after every client, washed their hands after every client, they truly want to ensure the safety and health of every client!
Definitely will be back!!!
Been going to Matou for years always pleased with the service. Place is nice and clean. The owner Matou always make sure you’re comfortable. The workers always nice and does a great job at braiding. I like that she mostly does appointments and not like other shops just take you, start your hair then start someone else hair and have you sitting just so they can get the money.
I had a 5:00 appointment, but they didn't start my hair til 6:30. They are slow, but my hair was done just the way I wanted it, and that's not a usual result I get from hairdressers. They are very clean, and they take every precaution in light of the coronavirus. I will definitely go back there, but I will have to set an earlier appointment.
