Quick Facts About Metro Barber Shop
Metro Barber Shop, located in the Coronado Mall, has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, it is important to analyze these comments in detail.
One of the strengths highlighted by a customer is the accommodating nature of the barber towards a wheelchair-bound, nonverbal 11-year-old. The barber took the time to engage with the child and provide a quality haircut. This demonstrates excellent customer service and inclusivity, making the barber shop a welcoming place for individuals with special needs.
Another positive comment highlighted the excellent job done by a barber named Jenny. This showcases the skill and expertise of the barbers at Metro Barber Shop. The customer was pleased with the results, indicating that the barbers possess the necessary technical skills to deliver a satisfactory haircut.
However, there are also several weaknesses identified through customer feedback. One customer expressed his disappointment with the quality of his haircut. He specifically mentioned that he requested a specific style and showed a picture, but the barber did not pay attention and delivered a different cut. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and failure to accurately fulfill customer requests.
Another customer criticized the barbers for possibly lacking passion and dedication in their work. They claimed that the barbers have a tendency to close early and displayed laziness. This negative perception towards the barbers' work ethic indicates a lack of professionalism and commitment to providing quality service.
The long wait time for a haircut is another weakness mentioned by multiple customers. One customer reported waiting for over an hour, only to be skipped and told to wait again. This demonstrates poor organization and communication skills by the staff, leading to customer dissatisfaction and wasted time. Additionally, the lack of compensation or acknowledgement for the inconvenience suggests a lack of customer-centric approach.
Price is also mentioned as a weakness by one customer who perceived the salon prices at Metro Barber Shop as being high compared to cheap national chains. This indicates a potential misalignment between pricing and the quality of services provided, which may discourage potential customers looking for affordable options.
Finally, there is a complaint about the barbers' inability to perform a simple scissor cut, which the customer believes should be easier than a fade. This criticism suggests a possible lack of expertise or skill in certain haircut techniques and a need for further training or improvement in customer service.
In conclusion, Metro Barber Shop at the Coronado Mall has both strengths and weaknesses. Positive aspects include accommodating special needs customers, skilled barbers, and satisfied customers. However, negative feedback reveals weaknesses such as a failure to meet customer requests, potential laziness among staff, long wait times, high prices, and a lack of expertise in certain haircut techniques. Addressing these weaknesses would be essential for the barber shop to improve its overall customer experience and reputation.
Best TL Reviews
Poor kid got in the car looked in the mirror and got teary-eyed because he was so disappointed and asked if I could take him to Supercuts to get it fixed. Called to make a complaint and guy says,”come back and I’ll fix it”. Hate to give a bad review based on one barber.
I took my 3 year old and 11 year old who is in a wheelchair and nonverbal. The barber accommodated my 11 year old, with him sitting in his chair, took his time, and talked to him instead of at him or ignoring him completely. That spoke volumes. He really took his time on both boys and both the guys there were very courteous. I feel bad I didn't get their names. We've been so many places. This made my top 3.
This was my first time going to Metro Barber Shop in the Coronado Mall. Jenny did an excellent job. I was very happy with the results.
I asked for a number 19, which showed scissor cut style, and full sides(no skin showing), but got a clipper cut. The number 19 also showed a blocked scissor cut back of the neck, and even length all over including the top. Well I got extremely close clipper cut around the sides and a Moe haircut on top. The barber did not even look at the number 19 picture. I will never go there again. I am good at my job, why are barbers not good at their job also?
Grown men who don't like to work. Always closing early, because they are lazy. They work hourly, so of course they will stop whenever they want. Don't get how hard it is to do their job, when they specifically went to school for it! If you don't want to do your job, maybe choose a different career path where you can be lazy! They only care about their worthless salary and not customers. Worthless establishment. No wonder why they get constant one stars.
Been coming here for a minute. Barbers have usually been pretty good about cutting up. The waits for a haircut have always been 1 hour plus due to pulling a number and waiting to be called. Waited an hour plus today. The guy called the numbers too fast skipped me. I went up there and was told I can be next after them. Not coming here anymore, it’s usually pretty chill... today was different I guess. Save your cash and TIME. Look elsewhere.
Weak haircuts, salon prices, and no overhead. Thought I'd try it but just not up to par with even national cheap chains
Waited a FULL HOUR, only to be told "no scissor cuts, go wait again at the other salon" and no comp no referral or anything to make it right. These guys are terrible and would never recommend them. Waisted my whole lunch just to have them say no haircut or any comp what server for you're whole wait. What a bunch of clowns!
P.S. if you dont do a simple scissor cut that is easier than a fade than you all need another lesson at the barber school or a refresher in customer service because taking a number for an hour only to be denied service is ridiculous and honestly this place should be embarrassed to be called a barber shop the way they run shop.
