Made an appointment on my only day off before vacation for box braids. Tried to call to get the address on the day of the appointment and they text me back to tell me that I couldn’t have scheduled an appointment because the Rock Hill location has been closed. I literally scheduled through they’re website, put down a credit card and everything. No apology or accommodation for any of this. Just arguing with me about the validity of my appointment. Horrible customer service.

I had an appointment at 9:30am on Today. When I arrived the building was closed and I was not given a warning about this. Also when I called no one answered. They did my cousin like this a while ago but they done my hair twice b4 with no problem. This is totally unprofessional.

I have went to get my hair done here 3 times and 2 other times I have booked an appointment, I went to the shop on that booked day and time and the shop was closed. I called multiple times both times and no one answers. It's really unprofessional. They don't follow up with you or anything. It's like you never even booked the appointment.

I had an appointment at 9:30am on Saturday that I booked almost a month ago. When I arrived this past Saturday the building was closed and I was not given a warning about this. Also when I called no one answered so I had no idea what was going on. I ended up calling the other mont Carmel hair salon in Charlotte who is associated with this one and they were able to take me at 4:00pm. Reason for the building closing was because of the bathroom which I understand but I should have been told that instead of nothing. There was nothing that said they were closed. I wasn’t given a discount.. or an apology. And after getting my hair done at the one in Charlotte I still wasn’t pleased with the work. Not the best experience like I thought it would be.

I had the greatest experience today getting my hair braided. I've had my hair braided a dozen of times but it was painful. Here at Mont Carmel it was pain free and I was so relaxed I fell asleep. This establishment is very professional and a Christian environment and very friendly. You guys have my business forever.

Awesome service as always. They are really fast on braiding. They do not leave you sitting and waiting. They get you in and out with quality still being top. The only braiding shop I go to.

I recommend Mont Carmel African Hair Braiding for its high quality service, punctuality, and care! As a first-timer I went there with mid-expectations, but I left with a fulfilled attitude because of how I was treated. Thank you again. I will certainly be back in the near future inshallah!

Absolutely fabulous!! Had an appointment somewhere else and was told it would be at least 2 hours when I arrived. Stopped in here and said she could get me in 45 min. Got cornrows and box braids. Love them and will be back.
