Quick Facts About Nabou African Hair Braiding
Nabou African Hair Braiding has received mixed reviews from customers. While some had positive experiences and praised the cleanliness of the shop, others expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing and quality of services provided. To provide an in-depth analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, we will explore the various comments and their implications.
Starting with the positive feedback, multiple customers mentioned that the shop was very clean, which indicates that Nabou African Hair Braiding maintains a hygienic environment for their customers. This is a strength as cleanliness is a crucial aspect of any salon or hair braiding place, as customers want to feel comfortable and confident in the cleanliness standards of the establishment.
Another strength mentioned by a customer was the pleasant staff. This implies that the employees of Nabou African Hair Braiding provide good customer service and create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Having friendly and polite staff is essential for customer satisfaction and can lead to repeat business and recommendations to friends and family.
Additionally, one customer mentioned that they were satisfied with the appearance of their hair and said they would highly recommend Nabou African Hair Braiding. This indicates that the salon is capable of meeting customer expectations and delivering the desired results. Customer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth recommendations are crucial factors for the success of any business, including hair braiding establishments.
However, there are several weaknesses highlighted by customers that need to be addressed by Nabou African Hair Braiding. One common complaint was the issue of pricing. Some customers felt that they were overcharged for the services they received. One customer mentioned that the braider initially quoted them a price of $200 - $230 for medium knotless braids, which they found to be too expensive for the quality of work. This suggests that the pricing at Nabou African Hair Braiding might be inconsistent or subject to negotiation, which can lead to customer dissatisfaction and mistrust.
Another customer mentioned that they were charged $240 for medium knotless braids and found it excessive for a relatively basic hairstyle. This indicates that the pricing might be higher compared to other similar hair braiding places. High prices without commensurate quality can lead to customers feeling ripped off and reluctant to return or recommend the business.
Furthermore, multiple customers expressed disappointment with the quality of services provided. One customer mentioned that the braider did not know how to do knotless braids properly, while another customer stated that cornrows were not their specialty either. These comments suggest that there may be inconsistencies in the skills and expertise of the braiders at Nabou African Hair Braiding. In a highly competitive market, it is crucial for a hair braiding place to have well-trained and skilled staff who can deliver high-quality work to ensure customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Nabou African Hair Braiding has strengths in terms of cleanliness, pleasant staff, and positive customer feedback regarding the appearance of their hair. However, they also have weaknesses in the areas of inconsistent pricing, perceived overcharging, and inconsistencies in the quality of services provided. Addressing these weaknesses and ensuring pricing transparency, proper training, and consistent delivery of high-quality work would be crucial steps towards improving customer satisfaction and the reputation of Nabou African Hair Braiding.

My appt was at 10am , I was ok with waiting for Gladys to sweep , and then waiting for her to eat breakfast, I was also ok with her not having my hair color ! What I was not ok with , was her trying to charge me $240 for medium knotless braids, nothing fancy just braids … I gave her $200 which I still thought was much , for what I got . Never again !
Very clean. My second time here. Gladys does an amazing job. I like her work. Just be careful with pricing. It seems they go along as they see fit.
I had a very nice time at Nabu Hair Braiding. Staff is pleasant and the shop was very clean. I would recommend this shop to friends and family.
Even though I waited an hour n change, it was worth it. The lady did a great job and finished my hairstyle very quick!
I will not be returning. They do know know how to knotless braids and from what I saw cornrows aren’t their speciality either. Over priced as well for the quality of the services they provided.
Got my braids done and they came out pretty okay however I'm giving them a two star rating because I think they upcharge. The braider Gladis was going to charge me 200 - 230 for knotless medium braids. I ended up giving 200 even though I feel like it was too pricey for the quality of work. I know in house braiders who do better work than what I got and charge 20 - 30 dollars less. The only reason I went to nabou was to get braids for a little lesser price so to end up having to pay more for lesser quality was annoying. Also I think I know for a fact that they upcharged me because when I ended up paying to Nabou the owner she did a double glance at my hair like she was surprised herself
Loved my hair. It was exactly what i asked for, with an affordable price. The staff were patience and very friendly with all the customers in the shop. 10/10, would highly recommend getting your hair braided here!
The atmosphere was very pleasant, they were very professional and I was totally satisfied with how nice my hair looked. I would absolutely recommend Nabou African Hair Braiding, and I will continue to be a reoccurring customer.
