Nana is a delightful and talented braider. My granddaughter had her hair done there several times. Nana is sweet, gentle, kind and very good at what she does. The outside is not extremely appealing, but I promise you she does a wonderful job.
Next time I will drive my behind to Baltimore, where I can get a price up front before getting my hair done. I don't like to haggle.
As far as style goes, braids were big, uneven, and messy. She claimed to be known for her micros. I didn't like them at all, looked like a rush job.

Nana is so kind and generous. She makes everyone comfortable and feel like they are family. This is the first time I have gotten braids done and I am thrilled with how they turned out! So please if you’re thinking about getting your hair done go to Nana because she will take care of you and make sure you are happy with everything.
My 4 year old has never had his hair braided and she was so kind to him! She had him in minimal tears abd didn’t get frustrated. I will definitely go back!

Seeing the reviews and the details from my husband it seems to make sense. The unproffesional and disrespectful way of running a business. First said he go at 3pm to get his locs started...he goes then she says come back at 530. Calls at 5 so doesnt go over there for nothing and no answer so goes back when told to and has another client in her chair. Then when they arw done ankther walk in sits in the chair and he been waiting since 3pm. Very unproffesional.
I was referred to Nana and I can't say enough about the wonderful treatment I received. Nana was there early and started right on my head immediately.
She and her family were professional, kind and beyond competent. They know their craft! She isn't just braiding your hair, she provides excellent hair care knowledge and sent me home with her homemade hair oil.
It was like being a little girl with her aunties, lol. I will be a customer for a very long time.
