Nice place but somebody has to speak English and everyone doesn’t wanna hear loud music. Especially when I have no clue to what they’re saying! I was for a wash, trim & lite curl she had me looking like Easter Sunday. So, I had a ponytail when I left. ????????????????????????????????
My first time there service was great didn't have to wait long at all the young lady who shampooed my hair did an awesome job, and the lady who did my hair made it look healthy and manageable got a lot of compliments yesterday. Thank you all for your time and doing a great job I appreciate you both will be back. God Bless

The place is clean and they use genuine hair care product. They take credit card payment but they says Cash only payment on the weekend. Also their staff is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.
Hello Goggle Family. I was skeptical at first about visiting this salon. I have been patronizing another salon, however I knew it was time for a change. I talked to a sister friend, Jina, and asked where does she get her hair done, since it always looks so nice. She informed me that it was the New Styles Dominican Beauty Salon on Baltimore Pike. While I knew where it was located, I still had doubts about going. Doubts because I didn't know how much the different services were and about the parking. I decided to visit on a Friday and I knew my timing was way overdue. My last visit at a salon was in December and I have been caring for my own hair and maintaining it. I needed another color and I just knew it was time for a salon visit. I goggled the salon and followed the directions to the salon, even though I already knew where it was located. Lo and beyond it is adjacent to the train station. The parking is so convenient, on the side street where you make a turn on Glenwood Avenue. I was there around 9:30 Am on a Friday morning and I could not believe it. There was only one person there. I knew it would be crowded and I would be waiting all day. I went in and was serviced immediately. Now that's service. I told them what I wanted and I showed the color, Clairol Professional Beautiful Collection. I wanted my color mixed, Burgundy Brown and Light Golden Chestnut. Both Advanced Gray Solution. The lady that attended to my hair was very good. I could see that she cared about my hair and it looking good. The young lady that shampooed my hair 4 times was great as well. A 4 times shampoo, in all the times I was been getting my hair done and all the years, no one has ever taken the time to shampoo it four times. My hair felt ever so clean and the shampoo smells so refreshing. I was put under the dryer after the first lady applied my two colors mixed. Not under the dryer that long and then my hair was shampooed again. This was four times. Then I sat in the other lady's chair and she wrapped and styled my hair. My hair looks nice and the mixed colors are beautiful! Anny, the owner, is very professional and nice. The lady that styled my hair, told me about a hair product that they sell. But they were out of it, it costs $30.00 and I asked why so much and Anny explained that it comes from the Dominician Republic. I gave Anny my business card. She said she will call me when they receive more product. I really enjoyed my visit here, the staff they really care about your hair. The price is way so reasonable, only $55.00 for a wash, blow dry and color. I thought I would fall over when I heard the price. I have never paid $55.00 for my hair. When I was a teen, that is the last time I heard those prices. It is always $100 and over for the same service that I had today. Unbelievable!! The people that robbed me and other people they service. I will be coming here from now on. Thank you Jina for saving me a lot of MONEY AND TIME!!!!
Best salon I have ever been to, great customer and they do hair great , i recommend getting your hair done by Anny because she does your hair really good and dyes your hair really good, and she also does flat quick weaves but the other workers do your hair really good too !
Omg! The blowouts are amazing! I've tried to copy but cant get it straight like they can. They wash ur hair 4 times and scrub good and condition it. Then proceed to blowout ur hair. The hair dryer they use is soooooo good. I've tried to buy one with 2500 watts so I can do my own hair but I cant replicate them. They are that good. Very nice salon.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! Don’t go here!
If I could give zero stars I would. The worst salon I’ve ever been to in my life. For one, they don’t give fresh towels to customers, they reuse dirty towels on everyone, and never sterilize their combs or hair supplies. The girl that was shampooing don’t even know how to wash hair, she was terrible. The person who was styling my hair had the nastiest attitude and didn’t know how to do my culture hair for real. If you have 4c healthy hair, stay away from this place, they will burn your hair out. Then they speak in Spanish about people of color hair textures, if u have a problem with doing hair of the black culture then say that in English sweetie. Then the lady kept burning me when she was blow drying my hair, that’s why I had to leave right after that blow dry and get out of there. I wasn’t feeling comfortable at all, the atmosphere was very terrible and unprofessional. 0 out of 10 stars, save your money and go some where else.
Always a great experience. They are professional and accommodating. Have been going here for several years for my hair care.
