I went today around 5 PM did my nails very simple set glitter on my ring finger and on my pointer and all blue for the rest of my nails. Once she started putting in the glitter it kept coming off on her wand then later on when I went to dry my nails for around 15 to 20 minutes I realize that the glitter was not drying but I needed to leave since I already spent an hour there. And now it’s been 3 hours (8 pm) since I got them done and the glitter nails still haven’t dried and it ruined my whole nail look and now I have glitter all over my hands. very disappointed.

I came to this salon instead of my usual since I was in the area and it had great reviews. The staff was friendly and prompt, but my nails definitely were not up to par. Two days after I got them done, my entire pinky nail came off. The glitter design they did started chipping off and taking the gel with it. By the end of the week, both thumbs lifted, the glitter was mostly off, and the gel underneath was chipping even more.

After a little over a week I would never expect my nails to look like this or be coming off like this. If I lived on that side of town, or was over there more, I would have gone back to see what they could have done. But will definitely not be returning with this kind of quality.

Based on the design I was interested in, it was recommended to change my set to acrylic. While the design came out nice, shortly after visiting my nails began to chip, and I contacted the business to get them fixed. After getting them fixed, after four days, they chipped even worse - the polish and acrylic. Today makes two weeks exactly since I got them initially done and I am attaching the current condition of my nails. I’ve gotten my nails done for years usually with a UV hard gel or liquid gel, and I have never had chipping let alone this bad or this soon. I’m not sure if it’s the quality of polish or materials, but they blamed the chipping of the polish on it not being fully dry. Which does not make sense, considering the technician touched the gel before I left the salon both times. Maybe the machines they use for drying. But I will not return here.

Lyly is my nail artist! She is the absolute best! I’m so happy I found her. It is a real struggle finding someone that knows what they are doing, and when you find that person, never let go! Haha I give her free range all the time and she never disappoints! This location of Noire Nail Bar is perfect. It’s close to where I work, but I’d travel regardless for Lyly, it’s clean, and the owner is very pleasant, nice, and welcoming. The other staff have a great vibe and I all around enjoy my experience here.

I love this place! Not only is it super convenient for me to schedule and go, but everyone is so nice and friendly. They all do a great job, too. I always book with Lyly @nails.by.lyly and she is awesome with art and regular services.

Honestly the first time I came here I had a great experience and my nails were looking amazing, but today I left so disappointed, I didn’t even tip because I felt like it was such a bad job. For my pedicure I asked for normal, nothing out of the norm, and the guy didn’t even cut my nails or scrubbed the dead skin like they usually do ( He did do a good job on the massage tho; very gentle) When I Showed him what I was looking for for my manicure I think it was miscommunication but he was going to do gel and I said well I can’t do only gel because I know it will come off so they offered to do dip as base and gel for the design but i said that I’ll just do a regular color bo biggie. Normally they set up a towel for you on the table, but he didn't, once again he was just gonna leave my nails super long so I asked him like hey can you cut them? So he did, and then when they he applied the dip it just seems so off to one of the colors I picked and idk my hands are super dry from the polish remover and the last time the lady added like an oil and right at the end they normally apply gel as the top coat and this time he didn’t which I think it’s because I told him I do do gel (this is where I think it was miscommunication)…overall I’m not very satisfied. I still recommend the place but I’d recommend making an appointment first before doing a walk in.

A week later my nail just broke :(

Came and left in 5 minutes because the bridal party accidentally came here instead of the right place. Never had my nails done and the tech was very nice and finished my plain polish and top coat. I appreciate their professional service and made sure to leave a big tip. Will consider this place if I ever need to come back! Thank you!

I've had gel manicures twice from Noire and this will be my new go-to nail place. They are always so nice and professional. Always very clean as well. They give me a quote for the cost of the manicure prior to starting, and they check in frequently to make sure you are happy with the shape, color, etc... Very pleasant atmosphere, highly recommend!
