Quick Facts About Oasis Nail Spa (Uptown)
Oasis Nail Spa (Uptown) has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the salon. In analyzing the comments, the strengths and weaknesses of the salon can be identified.
Starting with the strengths, some customers have mentioned positive experiences with specific nail technicians at Oasis Nail Spa. For example, one customer praised Katie for doing an amazing job on their nails and commended her for being fast. This indicates that the salon has skilled nail technicians who can deliver quality results. Additionally, another customer mentioned that their acrylic nails turned out well and expressed satisfaction with Julie's work. This suggests that the salon has a variety of nail services and can cater to different preferences.
Another strength of Oasis Nail Spa is its cleanliness. One customer mentioned that the salon utilizes clean instruments that are taken out of sterile pouches. This demonstrates that the salon prioritizes hygiene and ensures a safe environment for customers.
Furthermore, the prices offered by Oasis Nail Spa have been described as reasonable by several customers. This can be seen as a strength because affordable prices can attract more customers and encourage repeat visits.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses identified by customers that need to be addressed by Oasis Nail Spa. One common complaint is the rushed and unsatisfactory service provided by certain nail technicians. Some customers expressed disappointment about feeling rushed during their appointments, leading to subpar results. One customer mentioned that they were charged $90 and felt like the technician was in a hurry and did not do a great job. Another customer mentioned that the salon rushes through services and fails to deliver a good result.
Furthermore, there have been complaints about the customer service at Oasis Nail Spa. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the way their concerns were handled when they returned to the salon to address a mistake. The customer was charged an additional $35 just to fix the mistake, even though they had already paid $90 previously. This indicates a lack of proper customer service and an unwillingness to rectify mistakes made by the salon.
Inconsistency in the quality of work is another weakness mentioned by customers. One customer mentioned that only one nail technician does a good job, while the rest deliver subpar results. This inconsistency can lead to customer dissatisfaction and a lack of trust in the salon's services.
Additionally, some customers mentioned issues with the facility itself. One customer noted that the spa chairs were uncomfortable. This can be seen as a weakness since customers expect a comfortable and relaxing experience during their visit to a nail salon.
In conclusion, Oasis Nail Spa (Uptown) has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer comments. The strengths include skilled nail technicians, reasonable prices, and a focus on cleanliness. However, weaknesses were identified in terms of rushed and unsatisfactory service, poor customer service, inconsistency in the quality of work, and uncomfortable spa chairs. The salon should address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and attract repeat customers.

So I was charged 90$ for this I paid in cash I wasn’t happy I felt like the lady was in a hurry and didn’t do a great job . I was rushed when it came to picking a color. I went home and wasn’t happy so I called and explained to them the situation she told me to return so I returned two days after getting these done and explain to them that I was not happy with them and I still had hang nails and glue around my nails . The lady basically said it was the color I picked and it’s ok they will fix them .. they filed my nails, cleaned around the area and painted them a different color as we finished she handed me a paper charging me 35$ Reminder I paid 90$ 2 days prier so basically paid again just to fix a mistake that was done by them . I dont recommend this place to anyone and definitely won’t return .
They’re all very sweet. Katie did an amazing job on my nails, and she was fast too! Will definitely be coming back
Was my first time here, my brothers girlfriend recommend this place when I was visiting. I love how my acrylics turned out. Julie did my nails. Their spa chairs aren't as comfortable, but I would totally be back if it was closer to me. For a mani acrylic gel & pedi gel total was $125. They dont accept debit cards, only cash or venmo
Great finish, I love the color! but the guy bruised my fingers and did the complete opposite of what I asked for. :( Very uneven.
I wanted French manicure. The girl who did it did not know what she was doing. There was almost no white at the top of one nail and I said please correct it and she said “no no it’s OK.” I said “no it’s not OK, I’m not happy” and she repeated “no no it’s OK”. So I left without tipping which I never do. (I’m a very good tipper)…
Then I went directly to another salon and had them done again and left a nice tip. (Basically I paid twice for the same manicure!)
Oasis Nails has lost my business for life.
I keep going back to this place thinking I’m going to get better results but I end up leaving mad and upset because they never seem to get it right. There is only one girl who does a good job at what she does but the rest of the ladies are trash, sounds a bit harsh but it is the truth. My acrylic nails always are too bulky, too thick or uneven. & the ladies leave my toes uneven and with no type of shape. One toe will be square shape and the rest will be round. I try to mention to them to change my nails or fix them but they get upset whenever they mess up.
Oooh and I forgot to mention, I got acrylic on my toes here and let me tell you my whole nail fell off with the acrylic which left my toes with no nails for a few months. Worst nail salon to go to!!!
Go somewhere else!!!!! There are other nail salons within the half mile. There is only one manicurists who knows what she’s doing. Got gel x nails, the lady put the wrong sizes on my nails so you can see my nails sticking out from the side. then she didn’t blend them good enough into my nail, so when she painted over them there’s a significant dip in my nail and the paint job is not even. I basically look like I need a fill already. Asked for French tip on almond shape and kept asking for her to fix the shape of the tip, nothing was fixed. I have OCD so having these on my hands is making me miserable. I felt like I wasn’t listened to and the job was done lazy and rushed. My sister got hers done too, same thing mani and pedi in about thirty minutes. Rushed and No care gone into the work. Your better off with press on nails.
I have been to this nail salon between 4-6 times and have decided I am not going back. The best thing I can say is that the instruments are clean and they take them out of a sterile pouch. The prices are reasonable. That is about it. I've had at least 3 or 4 different nail techs and all of them RUSH like they have a quota to meet. I once had a mani/pedi done in less than 30 minutes (a pedi by itself should be at least 30). I paid extra twice for the scrub, which does make your skin soft but is supposed to include extra massage time. Trust me, it doesnt. They speed through services and don't do a very good job. This last time my polish started chipping after a week which is inexcusable. Don't waste your money here- besides a nice location, it's not worth it.
