Quick Facts About Oastler Shopping Centre
The Oastler Shopping Centre in Bradford has a number of strengths that make it a desirable place for shoppers. One of the most notable strengths is the free parking offered after 3pm. This is a huge advantage for shoppers, as it eliminates the hassle and expense of finding parking. It also encourages people to visit the shopping centre in the afternoon and evening, potentially increasing footfall and revenue for the businesses in the centre.
Another strength of the Oastler Shopping Centre is the variety of food options available. The newly famous Kebab Corner is mentioned in one of the comments, and despite the reviewer's disappointment with the food, the fact that it is extremely busy speaks to its popularity among customers. In addition to the kebab shop, there are also other food stalls and a food court with affordable prices and a good range of options. This variety and affordability make the centre an appealing place for people to grab a quick meal or purchase food supplies.
The market aspect of the Oastler Shopping Centre is also a strength. Many comments mention the traditional indoor market feel of the centre, with functional pitches and a good range of offerings. This appeals to shoppers who enjoy the experience of browsing different stalls and finding unique products. This adds a unique and enjoyable aspect to the shopping experience, making it not just a place to buy goods, but also a place to socialize and have fun.
While the Oastler Shopping Centre has several strengths, it also has a few weaknesses that should be addressed. One comment mentions that the building is not the best, and another comment mentions the outdated decor and gloomy lighting. These aspects can create a less inviting atmosphere for shoppers and may deter potential customers from visiting. The centre would benefit from investing in renovations and updates to improve the overall aesthetic and ambiance.

FREE PARKING AFTER 3pm
We tried the newly famous Kebab Corner in Bradford. I went after seeing a review online and thought, cheap and cheerful. Why not. They are extremely busy. Which is brilliant. The food (Donner chips and a. An of drink, not coke) is only 4.50 ! Good right. The sauces are home made.
Pity the food does not live up to the hype. Very thin Donner meat. Chips are great. Hospitality is ace. Seating is always going to be an issue. But the Donner was not kind to the stomach. Would I try it again …. No. Would I recommend the Donner and chips ? No.
Liked it. More like the traditional indoor markets - nothing flash, just traditional & functional pitches/stalls, with a good range on offer. Like most markets these days, there were a few empty stalls but still worth a visit...
Good butcher selection inside the market, 1 halal and 2 non halal, similar meats between them at different prices. Fish monger is ok but sometimes lacks much choice. The fruit and veg traders are well priced.
The toilet are clean although the building is t the best.
Home of the most elaborate Nigerian food store in Bradford.
You can get non branded clothes, fresh meat, fruits, Asian seasoning and condiments.
A small old soul groupies gather at the centre once in a while to listen to live guitar and karaoke.
