Quick Facts About P D Nails
P D Nails has several strengths based on the comments provided. The first strength is their ability to accommodate customers on short notice. In one comment, a customer mentioned calling on a Sunday and being able to get an appointment within 30 minutes. This shows that P D Nails is responsive to customer needs and willing to go the extra mile to fit customers in.
Another strength of P D Nails is the wide selection of colors they offer. Multiple comments mention being impressed with the variety of colors available. This indicates that P D Nails has a strong inventory and can cater to different customer preferences.
Furthermore, the affordability of the services is highlighted as a strength. One customer mentioned that they were pleased with the price considering the amount of time spent on their nails. This suggests that P D Nails provides good value for money and is reasonably priced compared to other salons.
Customer service is another area of strength for P D Nails. Multiple comments mention the friendliness and patience of the staff. One comment specifically mentions how the staff made a 6-year-old feel comfortable and special during her first visit to a nail salon. This indicates that P D Nails prioritizes customer satisfaction and creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers of all ages.
The efficiency of the staff is also highlighted as a strength. One customer mentioned being able to get acrylic nails, two pedicures, and a manicure done in less than an hour and a half without feeling rushed or inconvenienced. This suggests that P D Nails has a skilled and efficient team that can provide quick service without compromising quality.
However, despite these strengths, there are weaknesses identified in the comments as well. One weakness mentioned is the inconsistency in the quality of the service. One customer mentioned that the quality of the nails varied depending on the nail technician. This inconsistency can be a downside for customers who prefer consistent and reliable service.
Another weakness highlighted is the lack of expertise in certain nail techniques. One customer mentioned that they had specifically requested ombré dip nails but were informed upon arrival that none of the technicians knew how to do it. This indicates a limitation in the skill set of the staff and can be disappointing for customers looking for specific nail designs or techniques.
Additionally, some customers mentioned the lack of amenities such as complimentary beverages. One customer expressed disappointment that P D Nails charged the same rates as other salons that offered mimosas or water. This suggests that P D Nails may not provide the same level of luxury or comfort as some of its competitors.
Overall, P D Nails has strengths in terms of their responsiveness to customer needs, wide color selection, affordability, customer service, and efficiency. However, there are weaknesses in the inconsistency of service quality, limited expertise in certain nail techniques, and the lack of amenities. These areas of improvement can be addressed to enhance the overall customer experience at P D Nails.

I called to see if they could fit me in on a Sunday and they got me in 30 minutes later, fantastic on such short notice. Lots of colors to choose from, I was very impressed with the selection. They have multiple brands of gel nail colors. Very happy with the shape, length and the application of the color. Definitely will be back
I love how my nails turned out! The price was very good for the amount of time they spent on my nails. They were also very patient and made sure my nails looked amazing. I will definitely be back!
I visited this salon last summer with my goddaughter, was not happy with the service but I decided to try again. This time I took my boyfriend's 7 year old daughter and myself for manicures and I got a brow wax as well, I was expecting to pay more than I did. They did a great job on all 3 things, the only complaint I have is I was not asked what shape I wanted. After this last experience I will return to this salon if I decide to have my nails done again, I was an active salon goer but due to the upkeep and the cost going up (I know it's not the owners fault, they are doing what they need to do to recover from COVID).
First time being here and love them! Scheduled my appointment for me and my 6year old daughter and they were so friendly and nice. It was my daughter's first time in a nail salon and they made her feel awesome! We both got our nails and feet done. They gave her a pretty flower and she loves it! I love how they asked what we wanted, and fulfilled it! Thank you definately will be back. The only con I would say is they are on the high price side. But for my experience definately worth it.
I am so in love with my nails & so is my mom! We showed up an hour before they closed and they knocked my acrylic nails, 2 pedicures and a manicure out in less than an hour and a half without making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. We appreciate all of the beautiful women who treated us so well!
This is the best nail salon in Puyallup/Graham however... the quality varies based on who you get. The BEST nails I got was with Candy (I think??? UGH why didn’t I write her name down!?!?)
Anyways she did dip nail Obre and OMG beautiful.
The second best nails I ever got were bougee AF and done by a really sweet lady who’s name I don’t remember (ok, ok I’m bad with names)
The real issue is that not every nail tech knows how to do ombré which is my FAVORITE. Ugh. I really needed my nails done, scheduled an appointment and told them I wanted Ombré dip. Wellllll when I got there they told me that no one working knew how to do it. UGHHHH
It was fine I got pretty sparkly dip but it just ain’t the sammmeeee.
Anyways, it’s still THE BEST nail place in Puyallup or Graham and oh hunny... I have done my research.
They don't offer mimosas or even water, so I'm not sure why they charge the same rates as others that do. When I asked for water, my stylist did ask my sister and mother if they wanted water as well, so that was nice. She left and came back with 3 very tiny paper water cups from the water cooler. We drank them in one gulp, they were so tiny! My 80 yo mother was still thirsty - I gave her half of mine which was a sip!
My mother's stylist said oh wow and showed us all the dirt under her big toe. My mother was embarrassed - I thought this was very rude.
We went for pedicures. The craftsmanship was ok, but they pushed the Gel whereas other places do not push the gel on the toes only the fingers (toes are often covered and go thru more wear-and-tear not worth the extra cost. Better to push a ???? embellishments). The color choices were very good. In quantity and relevance.
We will probably try the other salon in the area next time. They really do need to offer little bottles of water at least!! Summers especially!
I have been to PD Nails off & on thru the years but I have decided not to go back. I went there at 6:33pm & asked for gel nail polish. Not a manicure or anything extra, just to paint them. She told me they were closed. I said "but you don't close till 7pm" & I'm looking at 4 employees sitting around. She kept saying they were closed. The process would have taken 20 minutes & they still were open still another 25 mins. I'm all about customer service. Heck! I'll pay extra for it but not with them. Too bad????
