Quick Facts About Palisade Pies

Palisade Pies has many strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. One of the most frequently mentioned strengths is the delicious taste of their pies. Customers consistently rave about the quality and flavor of the pies, noting that each one is made with love and kindness, and the fillings are exceptional. This highlights the bakery's skill and expertise in creating delectable pies that leave a lasting impression on customers.
Another strength of Palisade Pies is their commitment to catering to different dietary needs. They offer gluten-free options upon request and also allow customers to pre-order specific pies to ensure they get their desired flavor. This demonstrates their willingness to accommodate a diverse range of customers and their commitment to providing options for those with dietary restrictions.
The customer service at Palisade Pies is frequently praised in the comments. Many customers describe the employees as kind, friendly, and angelic. This positive feedback indicates that the staff is attentive and creates a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for customers. The fact that the owner, Anita, personally engages with customers and goes above and beyond to accommodate their needs, such as leaving a pie out for a customer who couldn't make it before closing time, further enhances the bakery's reputation for exceptional customer service.
Customers also appreciate the variety of products available at Palisade Pies. In addition to their pies, they offer cookies, hand pies, coffee, and other treats such as jam and salsa. This wide range of options allows customers to find something that suits their preferences, whether they are looking for a sweet treat or a savory snack.
Palisade Pies is also praised for its cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Customers mention the small, charming store and the hominess it exudes. This creates a delightful ambiance that is inviting and adds to the overall experience of visiting the bakery.
One area where Palisade Pies may have a weakness is in their availability of pies during busy periods, such as the Peach festival mentioned in one of the comments. Customers note that ordering ahead during such times can be difficult, and pies can sell out quickly. While it is a testament to the bakery's popularity, it may cause some inconvenience for those who are unable to pre-order or secure their desired pie during peak periods. However, this could also be seen as a sign of high demand and the bakery's success.
Another potential weakness is mentioned in a negative review about the crust of a particular pie. The customer was disappointed with the crust, finding it inedible and not up to their expectations. While this could be an isolated incident, it highlights the importance of maintaining consistency and ensuring that all aspects of the pies, including the crust, meet customer expectations.
Despite these potential weaknesses, the overwhelmingly positive feedback and frequent mentions of outstanding pies, excellent customer service, and a cozy atmosphere suggest that Palisade Pies has more strengths than weaknesses. The bakery's commitment to quality, variety, and accommodating customer needs contribute to its strong reputation and make it a must-visit destination in Palisade.

We were just passing through and stopped by Palisade Pies and it was so worth it. The people who work there are so kind they are like angels and the food is delicious! They have so many great things in such a tiny little store and is a treasure waiting to be found. They have cookies, hand pies, coffee, and they had the cutest little treats for Valentine’s Day! It was such a treat coming here and I highly recommend it 100/10
Was reading about things to do in Palisade and the moment I read the word, “pie” I knew it was a must visit! Definitely worth it! I had a personal peach pie and coffee and had a lovely conversation with Anita. Also bought some jam and salsa while I was there and can’t wait to return. Definitely swing by when you’re in the area!
I was visiting family in the area and saw the sign with my name on it. Anita's Palisade Pies. Had to stop and check it out. They had a large selection, and people were picking up their holiday pies. Decided on a Chocolate Cream Pie. It was drizzled with chocolate on top, and I just wanted to dig in.
And I was so disappointed. The filling was good, but the crust was like concrete. I was expecting a nice flaky crust, and I got something inedible. I really don't like to give a bad review to a small, local bakery, but when I pay almost $20 for a Chocolate Pie, I expect it to be at least as good as a frozen one from the grocery store. Maybe it was an anomaly. But, I will not try another pie from this bakery. I hope that others weren't so disappointed.
This homey pie shop in Palisade is exactly what you would have in mind if you were in the mood for a slice of delectable pies which are sold by the slice, as well as by the dozen if you’d like. Aside from their namesake, this cozy shop also sells local sweets and treats custom curated to regional and seasonal flavors and favorites making it a must stop for any one passing through Grand Junction, especially on this beautiful slice of town on Palisade.
I was on a girls’ weekend in Palisade and we were biking the Fruit & Wine Byway, excited to stop at Palisade Pies along the way, but we weren’t going to make it by closing. I called Anita to check the hours and she asked what kind of pie I wanted and left one out for us on the pie rack. We were so excited to strap it on the bike rack and enjoyed the delicious peach pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Anita went above and beyond and the whole experience was a highlight of our trip.
An amazing selection of pies that all look wonderful. The ones I chose were super!
Along with a wide selection of jams, coffees, and ice cream.
(The huckleberry ice cream was probably the best I ever had)
Depending on where you were coming from, it is a little out of the way, but I am so glad I went.
The owner wasn't in when I was there, but the lady who was did super.
Every single pie I have tried is amazing. Everyone is always very kind. You cannot beat the fresh pies and cookies. I have gifted various of Anita's homemade goods to my father in law, and he has enjoyed all of them. Thanks!
