5. Limited variety in the menu: While not explicitly mentioned, the lack of commentary on the variety in the menu can be seen as a weakness. A limited menu can limit the options available to customers and may not cater to a diverse range of preferences and dietary restrictions.
In conclusion, Pea-Soup Lott-A-Freeze benefits from being a locally owned business with positive customer reviews, friendly staff, and a nice, clean environment. However, weaknesses revolving around inconsistent food quality, limited portion sizes, overcharging, greasy and thin onion rings, and a potential lack of menu variety need to be addressed in order to improve the overall dining experience and attract a broader customer base.

Best TL Reviews

Ate lunch here while passing through. We love to patronize locally owned businesses and saw this one and had to try it out. We were not disappointed. We recommend it, if you are in town.
The Steak Po Boy w/Onion Rings was awesome and not what I expected. Onion Rings were bland need seasoning or something, still ate em tho. ????
Around 3’ o’clock one Thursday afternoon, it was apparent that some kinda food was necessary and it was recommended that we try Pea-Soup… So after a quick Google search for the phone number and a glance of the menu we decided on the steak poboy, the fish and shrimp plate and a double cheese burger. The food was prepared in a timely manner but the taste left much to be desired! What’s the seasoning?? You know salt ????, pepper ????, garlic powder ???? anything!! It’s like the just dropped it in diner grease fresh outta the freezer! Why? Then on top of all that, the bill was $60! Ion knock nobody’s taste buds.. but I wouldn’t recommend this place for a hearty meal… but the ice cream seemed promising. Good luck!
Catfish po-boy and floating burger were great! A great place to eat in Indianola.
The best place to eat in Indianola. Young lady that takes orders and serves is super nice and attentive. Food is fantastic.
Nice friendly staff. I was recommended to try their hamburger and it wasn't too bad. Nice clean establishment.
Wonderful service! Chicken Salad is awesome!
I visited this restaurant for the 2nd time on 4/2/22. The atmosphere is nice BUT I was very disappointed in portions of food served. I purchased the catfish dinner ($17.25). There were 5 very small pieces of fish that were similar to size of chicken tenders. I ordered onions rings and they were very thin and greasy so did not eat. I also had to use napkins to remove excess grease from fish. The salad was Iceberg lettuce with a few sprinkles of carrots on top.
My friend ordered the steak poboy and he said he could barely taste meat because so thin.
They are definitely overcharging when it come to serving size and quality of food. I won’t return because the prices are high and the portions are meager. Friendly service but not enough bang for buck!
