Best TL Reviews

So bad.
Very solid little country restaurant.
The wait staff were very nice and attentive.
We ordered the Wednesday special and the chicken fell apart was so tender and moist.
The stuffing was just like mom used to make. The mashed potatoes are a decent side.
The side was good but really needed to be put in a bigger bowl as the salad was over flowing.
I got the chicken dumpling soup and it was to die for.
The dinner rolls are massive, fresh, and paired with the grasslands butter slices, truly delicious.
The desert bar is a whole different beast to conquer.
The lady that served me could have been friendlier but it was just after the lunch rush and she was likely tired and stressed out.
All of the deserts are massive and very reasonably priced, I would even go as far as say too cheap! We ended up getting a massive cookie and brownie and it only cost $4!
The best food!! Real steak in the country fried steak, not chopped steak. Plenty of gravy, eggs and hashbrowns done perfectly. Going back as often as I can.
Don't even get me started on the bakery, grabbed the eclairs, the size of your forearm, and huge elephant ears that were amazing!
I love,LOVE this place. We've never got a bad meal. The rolls are outstanding! Just make sure you leave room for dessert, that's worth waiting for! I got the lemon bars and yes that is a normal portion! So good!
Home of the largest dinner roll and cinnamon roll ever made! Okay, that’s a lie BUT they are huge! We arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday and had to wait about ten minutes for a table. The staff is friendly and efficient, quickly turning over tables to get the next customer seated. Pro tip: order dessert from the case before you get sat at a table because once it’s sold out, it’s gone from your life forever.
So delicious! We always make this our travel stop there and back! Great service, quick too, delicious foods and ginormous desserts to take to go for a special treat later or a surprise as a food gift for that someone special!
Had a small wait around 11:15am last Sunday. There was a large line when we left. Quick and friendly service. Was surprised there weren't more omelette options on the menu. I had the denver special which was a large portion (definitely leftovers). Not sure why chicken and waffles isnt on their menu when all the sub parts are there. Husband had to order 2 menu items and build it himself. Grabbed a blueberry muffin to-go which was ok. Will definitely go back if in the area.
So many truck stops nowadays are fast food only now, what a pleasant surprise ! Everything appears to be made from scratch and everything we ordered was very good. I think I should have just ordered the soup and a huge dinner roll though to save room for dessert from the bakery. Instead we got a cream puff and piggy cookie to go for later. All baked goods are HUGE and can’t beat the prices ! Service was great as well , bravo Pine Cone!
