I hadn’t been to pinkies in a couple of months and I walked in today, and I was shocked to see what a transformation they had done. It looks like such an upscale salon. It seems like the old owners sold the salon to the owners of the barber shop next-door, and it came out, absolutely beautiful and very clean. What a great experience the owner bought coffee and was very hospitable. My nails and feet were done so pretty and now the girls that are working there know how to do designs. Although I didn’t do designs this time because I didn’t know now that I know I will definitely try their designs next time. I don’t remember what I used to pay but I think the prices might even be better than what they were before I paid $68 for a pedicure and dip nail polish.
This place is truly a hidden gem. The service here is amazing and I’m always greeted with great cafecito. The place looks newly remodeled and every time I go there is something different. I recommend this place!
This new owner is amazing. They call you back even if you call earlier than opening. The place has been revamped and all seating and equipment upgraded! It's a young new group of girls. Now they do hair! Rosa is my go to for my nails. All the best to them.
ZERO STARS...DO NOT GO! I asked if they had availability for a and appt and the OWNER said NO and hung up on me not once but THREE times. When I asked why she didn't just suggest another date and time she said sorry they were busy and she didn't have time for this. I have been a regular for several years. Under new ownership it looks nicer but they lack customer service. There are a ton of nail places in that area and I would not recommend this place. They also over charge when you pay with a credit card which is ridiculous because no one carries cash and what they charge is more than the credit card charges per transaction so they are just a bait and switch on pricing. Cheap and Rude.
ZERO STARS DO NOT GO! I wish I had read these reviews before I went to Pinkies. I have never had a worse manicure in my life! The nail polish literally came off. It was thick and goopy. I will never go back! Now I have to pay more $$$ to get another manicure/pedicure! I am not happy.
I discovered this place through an instagram advertisement. At first I was a bit skeptical because of the the older reviews. However, I decided to give them a try because they mentioned they were under NEW MANAGEMENT . And thank god I gave them a shot. I love this place super CLEAN and everything is BRAND NEW!! Found they switch management about 3 months ago. LOVEEE THEMM! Gel manicure is going about 3 weeks strong.
I want to begin by saying that this review does not reflect Pinkies as a business. This review reflects my last two experiences here. I have been coming to Pinkies for 2 years. I spend at least $80 every time and always tip generously. Ken usually does my nails and he does a phenomenal job. Since COVID, the gentleman who does my nails has been absent. My last two experiences have been awful. The first bad experience, I did not write a review. I wanted to believe it was a product failure, the powder was old or bad. The dip started to crack and break off after 2 days. The manicure lasted 1 week. I returned about 5 days ago before leaving on vacation and the same nail tech gave me a dipping powder manicure. This manicure lasted 5 days. Horrible.
