Quick Facts About PLC NAILS SALON

PLC Nails Salon, based on the comments provided, has several strengths and weaknesses that can be highlighted.
One of the major strengths of PLC Nails Salon is the quality of their pedicures. They are described as the "go-to place" for a great pedicure, and the staff is praised for their meticulousness throughout the entire process. This attention to detail is also evident in their shellac manicures, which are said to last for weeks. The staff is commended for taking the time to clean and polish nails thoroughly, resulting in flawless and long-lasting results.
Another strength of PLC Nails Salon is the overall friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Multiple comments mention that the employees are nice, friendly, and professional. This positive atmosphere contributes to a pleasant experience for customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.
In addition to these strengths, PLC Nails Salon is also praised for its precision and technique. Customers appreciate the precision with which the technicians work, particularly in regards to pedicures. The attention to detail in getting into the tiniest areas, such as cuticles, is highlighted as a positive aspect of their service.
On the other hand, there are a few weaknesses that can be addressed. One major complaint is regarding the customer service over the phone. One comment mentions that the person who answered the phone was rude and provided short, unhelpful answers regarding appointment availability. This type of behavior can leave a negative impression on potential customers and discourage them from using the salon's services.
Another weakness that has been brought up is the issue of only accepting cash as payment. This came as a surprise to some customers, as there was no prior notification or sign indicating this policy. This can cause inconvenience and frustration, particularly when customers have to go out of their way to find an ATM or drive home to retrieve alternative payment methods.
Furthermore, there is a comment mentioning the unethical treatment of a fish in their fish tank. The size of the fish appears to be too large for the tank, indicating a lack of care for the well-being of the animal. This can raise concerns about the salon's ethical practices and may deter customers who are sensitive to animal welfare concerns.
Lastly, the location of PLC Nails Salon seems to be difficult to find, as mentioned in one comment. This can lead to frustration and potentially deter customers who are unable to locate the salon easily. Providing clear directions or placing a visible sign can help mitigate this weakness and improve the overall experience for customers.
In conclusion, PLC Nails Salon has strengths in the quality of their pedicures and shellac manicures, as well as the friendliness of their staff. However, weaknesses exist in terms of customer service over the phone, the cash-only payment policy, unethical treatment of animals, and the difficulty in locating the salon. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall experience for customers and enhance the salon's reputation.

Best TL Reviews

This is the go-to place for a great pedicure. Staff is friendly and team is meticulous throughout whole process of shaping nails, buffing skin, and polish application.
I absolutely love this place! They specialize in shellac manicures and have always done a fantastic job. They take time to really clean and polish your nails so that they last for weeks! The staff is all friendly and professional.
My friend just called to book an appointment and the women who answered the phone was very rude. My friend asked if she could come in at a certain time and got short one word answers. When she asked if there was another time she could come in she said “We’re really busy and short staffed.” and then asked the next available time. She got in response “Not tomorrow.” My friend was very shocked. Maybe the quality of PLC nails is good, but we were not impressed with their customer service.
I have been going here for almost three years now and I LOVE IT they never miss the nails always looks so amazingly flawless and they last so long! I drive an hour and a half from college just to come here always so cute and the ladies are really nice. Best little nail shop in Grand Rapids
I would rate it zero stars if I could. They don’t let you know that it’s cash only before the service, nor do they have a sign. After my service I went to pay and she said no to my card and said cash only. I was flustered and said they should have a sign to inform people. She smiled and said “I know” with a big grin. She told me to go to the ATM around the shopping center and come back. I went to the ATM and it was out of order. So I had to drive 20 minutes home and back to get my check book to write a check. When I returned and I explained what an awful experience this was they said “oops sorry”. I will never return.
Not to mention they have a fish in the fish tank that is genuinely the size of the fish tank. It’s probably a two foot fish in a 2 foot 2 inch tank. Made my heart sink.
A busy salon; technicians took time on my pedicure and shellac manicure; I did not feel rushed. I liked that they used gentle techniques to remove shellac nails.
They on do gel polish (shellac) no powders or tips, but they do a very good job. I really like how precise the are with my toes. They really get in there. & my cuticles be on fleek ????. & they top it off with a 5 star polish job that last til I bring my lazy a** back in for another mani pedi ????????
Very happy with my shellac pedi and regular manicure. The employee’s are meticulous, my nails are perfect. I’m happy with the price as well. The location was really hard to figure out, I looked for close to 15 minutes to find the door, I called for directions, but that didn’t help either. I’m including a picture of the entrance to help anyone else that struggles :D Park behind D&W, the entrance is the back door to Boyne Country Sports. PLC is on the glass door, but there is no big sign.
I will be going back!
