Quick Facts About Pretty Nails

Pretty Nails place has received a range of comments from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. In assessing these comments, it is important to consider the overall customer experience, the quality of the services provided, the professionalism of the staff, and the overall ambiance of the salon.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentions that the prices at Pretty Nails are reasonable. This indicates that the salon offers competitive rates, making it an attractive option for those seeking nail services. Another strength noted by a different customer is the friendliness of the staff. They mention that every worker at the salon is nice and takes their time with the customers. This suggests that the staff members are attentive and provide a hospitable environment for their clients.
Additionally, one customer mentions that the salon offers acrylic nails with gel polish for a price of $30, which they consider to be a great deal. This indicates that Pretty Nails provides affordable and potentially high-quality acrylic nail services. Another positive aspect highlighted by a different customer is the presence of an employee named Tam, who is described as wonderful. This suggests that Pretty Nails has skilled and experienced technicians on staff.
However, several weaknesses of Pretty Nails place are also evident in the comments. One customer describes the quality of their experience as the "worst place ever." They mention that the technician did not clean or cut their nails properly, resulting in a bumpy acrylic application and poorly done polish. They also claim that their big toe was filed too low, resulting in a burning sensation. Another customer mentions that the quality of the nails at Pretty Nails is inconsistent, with nails breaking easily for no apparent reason. This suggests that the salon may not provide consistent or high-quality nail services.
Furthermore, poor scheduling is highlighted as a weakness of Pretty Nails. A customer mentions an incident where they called ahead and were asked to come in at a specific time but then had to wait an additional 30 minutes due to a lack of organization. This indicates that the salon may struggle with managing appointments and prioritizing customers' time. Another customer mentions that there were delays in opening the salon, with conflicting opening times listed on the door and business card. This suggests a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.
Other weaknesses mentioned include communication difficulties due to language barriers, as one customer found it challenging to communicate their desired nail style. Another customer mentions that their nails were cut crookedly and the polish was average. Additionally, one customer describes their experience as a "nightmare" due to the technician filing their natural nails too thin and using super glue inappropriately. They also mention having to wait while the technician attended to another customer, prolonging their service time unnecessarily.
Additional weaknesses highlighted are the lack of air conditioning in the salon and uncleanliness of the pedicure chairs. These factors contribute to a less than ideal customer experience.
In conclusion, Pretty Nails place has strengths in terms of reasonable prices, friendly staff, and the presence of skilled technicians. However, the salon also faces several weaknesses, including inconsistent quality of services, poor scheduling, communication issues, and cleanliness concerns. It is important for the salon to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall customer experience and reputation of the establishment.

Worst place ever! My bf gets a hair cut right next door, so while I was waiting I decided to get a pedi. I usually get acrylic on my toes, I asked for that & a pink French tip. First of all the man that did my pedi didn’t even clean or cut my nails, the acrylic is all bumpy & the polish looks as if my 5yr old did it. My big toe literally BURNS, he filed it too low. I asked him to fix many things, he “tried” but it still wasn’t coming out how I liked. The place was literally empty when I walked in, & it was a FRIDAY. That should’ve been a sign, would not recommend this place at all!!!
I've been going here for roughly 5 months. I usually get acrylics with gel nail polish. My fills are only $30 which I think is a great price. Their chrome and holographic powder is a rip off at $15 extra. I've been to several other salons that only charge $5 extra. The quality of the nails however is inconsistent. One time my nails just kept breaking for seemingly no reason. I wouldn't feel it either. I would look down another nail would be broken. Super upsetting considering I'm not tough on my nails at all. This most recent visit I called at 2 and asked if I could come in. They said they were very busy and asked me to come back at 6. They took my name and said they'd see me at 6. I come at 6 and they had not written it down at all and made me wait another 30 minutes. Another woman walked in after me and seems like they did the same thing to her. Very poor scheduling. Overall this place is okay and the staff is nice. Just unfortunate only one woman can do acrylics and the quality is hit or miss.
Amazing place wonderful women named Tam so nice.
Best place I’ve ever gone to for my nails. Every single worker there is so nice and take their time. Sometimes they’re understaffed and the wait is a bit longer but it’s 100% worth the wait. I would only ever recommend this place in Escondido. THE BEST OF THE BEST.
The prices here are fine but the girl who served me spoke little English and I had a hard time communicating what I wanted. She did a passing job on my pedicure. The most egregious thing was that she cut my nails on my hands crookedly. The polish was just okay.
Well today officially confirmed the fact that I will not be returning. I have been to this establishment on 4 separate occasions. The first time I was impressed I brought 3 other people with me and paid for 2 besides myself to have full sets and/ or manicures and pedicures. The got us in and out and things looked pretty good!
The last two times I went alone and had fills and pedicures or old acrylic removal and new nails put on and pedicures.
To sum up this rather lengthy review I was Impressed the first time and returned.
The last few times I was not at all impressed with my services.
I have waited outside for 40 min because their business card said they opened at 9. The door says they open at 9:30...unless they show up 10 or 15 min late.
I have expressed I wanted my nails soaked off...Sarah then started ripping off the old acrylic and I really can't stand being worked on between other customers. Finish my service please,.. I dont enjoy spending my entire damn day at the nail salon.
I have gotten a pedicure asked to have my nails clipped...a few days later I'm trimming them myself and wrecking my damn pedicure.
Today was the final straw...I do not get "tips"
Put on, I get an acrylic overlay. I hate the way the tips grow out. Anyway for whatever reason, Sarah has filed my natural nails underneath so thin they are now filed through. Sarah put super glue under my nails, for what, I do not know.
I sat waiting while she waxed someone's armpits because she glued my damn fingertips together....all I can say is it's time to move on. Nightmare and downhill service.
I am sorry I have to write this review I really wanted to make this my go to shop. However I cannot....and I haven't been able to find a reputable shop yet.
I work in the service industry and time is a most valuable commodity, do not waste customers time. Treat everyone better than you would like to be treated. I still tipped and said thank you.
Everyone was so nice and I'm sad to not give them 5 stars. I asked for dipping and wanted french tips. I was halfway through my manicure before the tech told me she didn't know how to use the powder for a French manicure....so she used gel nail polish...then topped it off with acrylic...not the dipping manicure I asked for. Paid $40 for a hybrid of all the things.
2 other ladies were getting acrylic nails and their techs seemed very capable. Also, the tech popped the dipping polish off my nails. And my nails are sore ????.
Disappointing experience for me.
Walked in for a pedicure place had no AC and it was one of the hottest weekends. Chairs were dirty had to asked them to clean it before I sat. The guy that was doing my pedicure work dirty, when removing my cuticles he used same towel and dumped all the dirty cuticles into the water were he had me put my feet back in the water. He didn't even put cream or massage my legs, very dirty work.
