I have been coming to this establishment for about 4-5 years off and on. The service is a hit or miss, depending on the nail tech...but they have fairly nice prices (but I guess you get what you pay for) .
After my last experience, I will not be returning or referring any new customers. I came straight to the salon after work, simply wanting a basic gel manicure. As I was getting my nails done, the nail tech kept showing the color to the nail tech beside them...most of the conversation was in another language but at the end the nail tech replied "beautiful color though"...that made me think something was wrong. He then took out a napkin and begin wiping the nail polish brush.
Once he put my nails under the UV lamp, that is when I knew the color was old. EVERY nail had a ripple after the lamp. When I showed him, he smacked his lips and began to aggressively wipe the GEL polish off. he took out the drill to remove the color with no regard for my nails. I even flinched and told him to stop because it was painful.
After he "removed" the blue, I told him that I would come back to finish because I needed to take my dog out first. (I had just sat in there for over an hour for a gel manicure).
That's when the true character came out of the manager. As I walked to my car, she chased me asking for payment on a manicure. I couldn't believe what she was asking because my nails looked like someone chewed them....and they still were riddled with the blue gel the nail tech tried to scrub off. When I explained the situation, she was rude and forced me to pay $15 for completely trashed nails. I returned after letting my dog out and the manager was so rude. after removing the blue, she went to start someone's pedicure. I asked "isn't polish included in a manicure?". She returned...slapped some clear on my nails and walked away.
Stay away from this establishment. They do not value their customers and their polish was probably purchased in 1973. This was not my first time having an issue with their polish.
Went yesterday 3/242022 and saw the male techinician who did my French pedicure and gel finger nails. Pedicure looks great. I’ve never had an issue when I see the female technician but the male one made my fingers bleed and hurt my cuticle. I kept trying to be careful not to scratch the gel and he kept saying it’s gel and dry so a few hours later not only did I see the defects in nails, some nails where missed on the side, skin wasn’t fully cleaned around cuticle (with the bleeding I had figured I’d have super clean nails) paint started chipping and it looks like I did my own nails. He didn’t even paint all the way to the matrix of the nail. Feet look great hence the 2 stars but finger nails look horrendous. I have a huge event to go to today with ugly looking nails. I paid $66 and it’s not what I got. I won’t be going there anymore.
I really like this nail salon. I am very picky about my nails and I also have sensitive nails and cuticles so I get cut easily. My nail tech Nany used an extra light and took great care to ensure that I didn’t get cut. I expressed what I needed and she delivered. I am a very happy customer. Finding a quality, clean nail salon is hard but this one is both.
I don't usually come here for a few reasons but im very very very ×10 picky about my nails.
They do a pretty decent job and take you in pretty quick. This visit I got pretty much what I wanted. But I pay way to much close attention, and I notice a few dents and some nails look uneven. I should point out I don't "demand" or request for things to be changed so I'm pretty sure if you let them know they'll do and/or fix it but I don't like to bother. (again because I'm picky)
Im not goving a 1 star just because the lady who did my toes did a great job BUT the guy who did my sns and manicure was the worst job I have ever ever got done in my life not to mention his bad attitude his name is dave, will never go back and definitely don’t recommend him.
I went here on 2/14 for a gel manicure. Today is 2/17 and I have 4 chips, one split and 2 uneven blobs. There is a reason why stoped going here a couple of years ago but with all new people I have them a chance since I didn’t have time to get across town to my favorite regular place.
DO NOT GO HERE me and my daughter went yesterday to get our nails done && they completely f***ed up my feet and my daughters nails and feet within a hour our polish was chipping I don’t understand how when we got gel‼️
I picked nail design from the wall. He put the color on my nail, I stated it doesn’t look the same it much lighter. He stated don’t worry second coat. He finished I washed my heads and compared. Nothing like what I wanted. The manager stated the color on the wall was 3 years ago. I didn’t want it. The manager told me they will take the color off and you go. I stated doesn’t color come with a fill in. She agreed he place black Matt on my nails after I got home 9 of my gel nails polish came off peeling gross. I paid good money for my nails, I feel this was done on purpose. I would not go here. They don’t listen or take care of the customers
