Quick Facts About Happy Nails
Happy Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The strengths of the salon include friendly and welcoming staff, excellent customer service, and the skills of certain employees who provide a great experience.
One customer mentions that the service they received from Ivy, the store manager, was exceptional. They had a dip manicure done by her and described it as the best they've ever gotten. Ivy's friendly demeanor and ability to make customers feel comfortable and valued contribute to the strength of the salon.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a different customer is that Happy Nails place had good customer service. The customer forgot their phone at the salon, and the store manager went out of their way to meet them after hours to return it. This kind of exceptional service shows that the staff at the salon are willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
However, there are several weaknesses evident from the comments as well. One recurring issue is the poor quality of the nail services provided. Customers complain about nails that were not filed down correctly, shapes that were off, and polish that was not applied properly. Multiple customers had to go to another salon to get their nails fixed after visiting Happy Nails place. This indicates a lack of precision and skill in nail application and overall execution of services.
There are also complaints about the unprofessional behavior of some employees. One customer mentions that they were commented on about their long fingers, which is considered unprofessional and insensitive. Another customer mentions that the owner was sitting and chatting with friends or on her phone while her inexperienced teenage brother performed their pedicure. This lack of supervision and professionalism suggests a lack of attention to detail and customer care.
The prices charged at Happy Nails place are also a concern. Several customers mention that they were charged a high price for services that were not up to par. One customer mentioned being charged $55 for a subpar job, which they described as a rip-off. The dissatisfaction with pricing is reinforced by the observations that the outside and inside of the shop need upgrades. This suggests that customers feel they are not getting their money's worth in terms of the overall experience and ambiance of the salon.
Another common complaint is the lack of responsiveness and accountability from the salon. One customer mentioned that when they called to request a refund or to have their nails fixed, they were told to call back later and were eventually hung up on. This lack of assistance and unwillingness to address customer concerns adds to the overall negative perception of the salon.
In conclusion, Happy Nails place has some strengths in terms of friendly staff, excellent customer service from certain employees, and willingness to go above and beyond for customers. However, the weaknesses include poor quality of nail services, unprofessional behavior, high prices for subpar work, lack of responsiveness, and a need for upgrades in the salon. These weaknesses outweigh the strengths and suggest that Happy Nails place may not be the best choice for a satisfying nail salon experience.
Best TL Reviews
so my friend and i went into happy nails yesterday. the people were very nice and welcoming. although, our nails came out terrible. they were not filed down correctly and the shapes were off. i told them to make sure the polish covered my white nail under since the acrylic was clear and they went under my natural nail. they were very rough when filing and charged $55 for half done jobs. they just swiped the polish on and didn’t even bring it to the sides. they had the women that does pedicures paint my nails and it was not a pleasing experience. i’m not one to complain and i keep quiet but i had to go to another salon to get them fixed. do not recommend. and one of the ladies commented that i had long fingers. it may be true but very unprofessional.
I’m only giving this the 1 star so I can leave a comment. I wasn’t even going to leave a review but I’ve heard so many negative things since, I should input my experience to worn people. This was back in 2020 and they were the only ones open so I went in for a pedicure. The owner just sat there and chatted with friends/on her phone while her HIGH SCHOOL TEENAGE brother did my pedicure. I wouldn’t have minded had he actually known how to give a pedicure. He scraped under my big toe so much it was raw and hurt and seriously misshaped it when it was done. The filing was mediocre and the polish dried weird. I’d say you get what you pay for, but for what I was charged…this was a complete rip off! I didn’t even tip and went home and redid my own toes (thank goodness my toe has grown normally since). Do not go here! Not professional in the slightest! Not to mention, the outside and inside of the shop need serious upgrades!
Jente no vayan a este lugar por favor pésimo servicio hacen un mal trabajo dejan residuos por todos lados de acrílico y aparte me cortaron y nisiquiera se disculparon aparte lo hacen de mal humor es lo que no entiendo
This place has been under new ownership for 6 months. The service I received was great! Ivy the store manager did my dip manicure and it's the best one I've ever gotten. Ivy is so nice and friendly and made me feel like I've been going there for years. Will definitely be going back.
I’m rating this place although I never rate any services.
The place I usually go to was close today, so I went to this place to get my acrylic nails off… sadly I received a really bad experience.
The guy that helped me was not professional. I’m no expert in nails but he remove the acrylics without acetone, when I asked him if he could use acetone he said if he used acetone would be longer. He disregarded my request and he continued, he hurt me a lot, even making me bleed from my pinky. The worst was that he didn’t even acknowledge the fact that my finger was bleeding. When I went to pay he said it was $10, he ran my card and he charged me $12. I gave him tip than I realized he has charged me $2 more, I asked him but he pretended he didn’t hear me and just pointed at the receipt. It’s not about the $2 it’s about him laying to my face plus making me bleed. Horrible experience!
I went in on a Sunday. I waited to be seated for about an hour, only for the nail tech to leave me there for another half hour. They were short staffed with a wait… I was understanding. She finally came back rushed through my nails. When she cut me I told her “that’s ok just slow down”.
I got a shellac manicure and my nails are bulky, rounded and there is shellac all over my fingers I am disappointed.
I then called the salon to get a refund OR have them fix my nails. I was told that they are too busy and to call back later. When I told her that was not sufficient she disconnected the call. Very well the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done.
Awful service.. Polish was not even and when she removed it, scrapped it off and left scratch marks all over nails. Did not file nails smooth.
