Quick Facts About Professional Nail

Strengths:
1. Reasonable pricing: One comment mentions that the salon offers a reasonably priced package that provides a pampering experience, indicating that they offer competitive prices for their services.
2. Attention to detail: A customer appreciates the attention to detail provided by Gloria, suggesting that the salon values precision and takes the time to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Gentle and relaxing experience: Another comment highlights the gentle foot and leg massage provided by Jade, indicating that the salon offers a relaxing experience for customers.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistency in services: A customer had an unpleasant experience when they were informed over the phone that the salon could not provide a basic manicure, which contradicted their initial statement. This inconsistency in services can lead to confusion and frustration for customers.
2. Lack of skill and professionalism: There are multiple comments that mention instances where customers received poor quality services. One customer mentioned that a nail technician used high-powered equipment incorrectly, causing injury and bleeding. Another customer had a negative experience with a nail technician who did not properly remove acrylic nails or provide a gentle and pain-free service.
3. Rushed and unprofessional attitude: Multiple comments mention that the salon's employees appear rushed, disinterested, and unprofessional. One customer notes that employees were in a hurry to leave, leading to sloppy and unfinished work. The lack of a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the manager constantly pressuring employees to finish quickly, creates a negative experience for customers.
4. Subpar longevity of gel manicures: Two customers mention that their gel manicures did not last long, with one experiencing bubbling. This suggests that the quality of the gel manicures provided may be inadequate and not worth the investment.
5. Subpar pedicure experience: One customer mentions that their pedicures were mediocre compared to previous experiences elsewhere. This indicates that the salon's pedicure services may not meet customers' expectations in terms of professionalism and quality.
In conclusion, while Professional Nail place has a reasonable pricing, attention to detail, and provides a gentle and relaxing experience for some customers, the salon has significant weaknesses in terms of inconsistency in services, lack of skill and professionalism, rushed and unprofessional attitudes of employees, subpar longevity of gel manicures, and subpar pedicure experiences. These weaknesses can greatly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty, and the salon should address these areas for improvement to enhance their overall reputation and customer experience.

I called this salon before I can in to ask them if they can do gel manicure with design. She said she can do a basic design. Came to store 39 weeks pregnant and she said she can even do a basic manicure after showing her a basic French manicure which she said she can’t do. I was super polite to them, and she basically said she can’t do any manicure just pedicure. Not sure what a they can do but they where so mean for no reason.
I treated a friend and myself to a pedicure (my 2nd visit.) we both had a relaxing afternoon and felt very pampered. we got the works which was very reasonably priced and well worth the nurturing we received in the process.
Gloria was amazing.
She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She did a great job. She massaged me feet and legs extra long. I appreciated her attention to detail.
Just walked out of a manicure. The guy turned the bevel up to its highest setting and used the tip on it vertically to remove gel polish. Who uses an evil like a pencil!?! I pulled my finger away because it hurt, then realized he drilled a hole on the surface of my nail and made me bleed. I asked him to hold my hand firmly so he wouldn’t drill a hole again and said someone else will continue. Since my hand was now dripping with blood, I walked out.
Stayyyyyy away! Don’t give people high powered equipment unless they know how to use it.
Nice little shop at Channel Islands Blvd and Victoria. I've been coming here since 2013. I've since moved to Arizona but whenever I'm in the Ventura area it is my go to for a pedicure. I have foot issues (neuropathy) and sometimes pedicures are painful which is why I always ask for Jade. She gives the most gentle foot and leg massage and pedicure.
$50 dip powder for a child, Old dip was not completely removed, 4 coats on tiny nails, disregarded when we asked for them to be not so thick. Nails are filed crooked way too thick not even a discount offered after we spent $175. Very unprofessional. Most expensive dip powder I’ve ever gotten in my life. Pedicures so mediocre from anything I’ve had before. I could’ve done this at home.
I walked in for an acrylic removal and basic manicure. 3 people walked in after me, all of which were seated prior to me. I was told a 30 minute wait time, and the other clients were seated first within that 30 minute time. So, once they get to removing my nails, they did not ask if I prefer to have them soaked off. The girl immediately clips the finger nails and tells me to close my eyes because the nails are going every where. Then, she used a fake nail to remove each nail. It was very painful and when I expressed that it hurt, she still continued. They placed me with a guy after the removal and he did the best he could. He was very polite and gentle. Unfortunately, the beginning was so bad that I will not return.
I don't think I'll be going back at all.
They have lost a good customer.
They are always rushing and the last 2 times, my gel manicure only lasted a week, the second time my gel manicure had bubles.
Both times employees were in a hurry to leave, one employee said she was tired and going home, she was looking at her phone, instead of finishing my nails, and she also cut me, when cutting the cuticles.
They don't smile and are always being rushed by the manager asking them if they are done yet.
