Quick Facts About Q-Nails & Spa
Q-Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. By analyzing these comments, we can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the place.
One of the strengths of Q-Nails & Spa is their friendly and entertaining staff. Several comments mention that the employees, specifically Henry and Tracy, were nice, funny, and engaging in conversation. This positive customer service experience can make the salon a pleasant place to visit and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Friendliness and good conversation can contribute to customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Another strength of Q-Nails & Spa is their time management. Despite having only two people working, they were able to manage their time well and provide services to a group of four. This efficiency in time management can be valued by customers who do not want to spend excessive time waiting for their turn or feel like their time is being wasted. The ability to efficiently serve multiple customers can contribute to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
However, Q-Nails & Spa also has weaknesses that were mentioned in the comments. One major weakness is the inconsistent quality of the nail services. Some customers expressed disappointment with the outcome of their nail services, mentioning issues such as missing nails, nails not matching the desired photos, nails cut too short, and hair found in the nails. These instances of poor quality work can tarnish the reputation of Q-Nails & Spa and lead to customer dissatisfaction. Inconsistent quality can undermine the trust and confidence that customers have in the salon.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the lack of attention to customer preferences. One customer mentioned that their request for shorter nails was ignored, and another mentioned disappointment in not being able to choose the color tips for their nails. This lack of attentiveness and flexibility in meeting customer preferences can result in dissatisfaction and a negative customer experience.
The comments also mention issues related to pricing and billing. One customer stated that the salon charged them more than they were originally told for their pedicure, causing confusion and frustration. Another customer questioned the discrepancy in pricing between services. These issues related to pricing and billing can create distrust and dissatisfaction among customers. Clear and transparent pricing policies are essential for customer satisfaction and trust in the salon.
Additionally, the comment about the lack of good customer service and uncomfortable waiting environment highlights potential weaknesses in the salon. Not acknowledging customers or informing them about wait times, combined with a lack of air conditioning in a hot and muggy environment, can create a negative customer experience and discourage potential customers from choosing Q-Nails & Spa.
In summary, Q-Nails & Spa has some strengths, such as friendly and engaging staff, and efficient time management. However, they also have weaknesses, including inconsistent quality of nail services, lack of attention to customer preferences, issues with pricing and billing, and subpar customer service and waiting environment. These weaknesses can lead to customer dissatisfaction and potential loss of business. Addressing these weaknesses and focusing on improving the quality of services and customer experience can help Q-Nails & Spa regain customer trust and loyalty.

Both my girls got their nails done here and spent 150 and it is the worst I have ever seen. My one daughter has 2 missing already and looks nothing like the photos they showed them to do. Then when the nails were cut to short and I said something to the man he asked my 15 year old daughter why she didn't say anything. First she did second she's a child that's what I am for. Do not recommend whatsoever and I use to love this place. The one photo is what it's supposed to look like. There's also their hair in one of the nails
I came with a group of 4. Henry and Tracy were so nice and funny! They held great conversation and were pretty good with time management for them being the only two people working. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the male was quite rough when filing and cut our cuticles a few times, but I understand that most male nail techs are usually rougher than females. Overall, this place was great and we’ll definitely come back!
I went to this place for my very first time, first time in morgan town! I will NEVER be ruturning… for starters I asked the man that was doing my nails I asked for a little shorter. And he ignored me and cut them off! They are too long for my liking. When i should have the choice when I am the one paying. He was very cranky. And second the lady was doing my mothers nails they look horrendous! Very thick and like a bubble, French tip looks like a 3 year old did it. I am NOT happy with my experience here! Neither is my family! We will not be returning. And!!!!! Asked for refund and they said no?? Because they “spent time” they told me it was going to be 35 and when it comes time to pay. They bring it up to 50$??????????
I was asked no less then 4 times about a gel manicure, which I did not want. My manicurist did nothing to my cut and shape my nails, I had to ask for attention to my cuticles, and the shiny buff for which I asked was halfway at best. She ridiculed my dry skin and was rude about the fact that I 'clearly don't get manicures often.' She then had the audacity to comment that she hadn't seen me there before, and I should start coming to her. The only reason I give 2 stars is the pedicure - the gentleman who gave the pedicure was polite and did a good job at removing callouses.
They only ever have 2 people working. Not acknowledged or told how long the wait would be. No air conditioning on so it was muggy and hot. Do not recommend. After waiting 30 minutes, got up and left. They do a fine job when getting my nails done in the past, but if you want to be treating with an ounce of good customer service I’d go somewhere else.
I loved going to this place when they were in the old mall. I was disappointed when they had closed down. Ive been other places but they weren't the same. Then I had found out they moved here at their current location. I was very happy & last Saturday I went to get my nails done. I don't do this very often so I was very excited. Well I've never gotten my nails done by the younger woman who works here & she did my nails & I can honestly say I was disappointed. She filed my nails down so much on some of my nails that it hurt & I had actually pulled my hand back from her because it hurt so much. My thumb nails are not the same size. One nail on my index finger is crooked, & you can see that my nails are filed down way to much through the acrylic. I also thought I was going to get to choose what color tips I wanted but she just picked white which was pretty disappointing. Also some of my nails are cracked down the middle as well. I would go there once more but if I'm going to get the same service as I did the last time I will not return.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I asked for dip nails and a basic gel pedicure with a white tip. My nails look so bad uneven and lumpy my fingers are stained the color red. When I got my bill I asked how much the services were because they charged me 103$. He said my nails were 50 and my pedicure was more because of the white French. So basically my nails were 50 and my toes 53? Makes no sense when a basic pedicure says 35$ on their sign. I don’t mind paying for quality but now I have to go else where and fix what has been done with my nails. I don’t even think they used true dip because of how heavy and thick my nails are. Very disappointed. Wish I could share a photo on here!
The absolute best place for nails. I've been following these two for years and no one is as good as they are.. Love love love them. So glad I found them after moving back to WV. Highly recommend ????
