Quick Facts About Rose Nails
Rose Nails, based on the comments provided, seems to have several weaknesses that have impacted customers' experiences. These weaknesses include issues with racism, poor customer service, unprofessional behavior, inconsistent pricing, low-quality work, lack of functionality and cleanliness, rushed services, and discriminatory attitudes. However, it is important to note that there may be individual variations in experiences, and not all customers may have had the same negative encounters.
One major weakness highlighted in the comments is the racially insensitive behavior exhibited by one of the Asian nail technicians. The use of racial slurs and derogatory language can create a hostile environment for customers, especially for black customers who may feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects a lack of professionalism and respect. It is essential for any business to foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is poor customer service. One customer complained about the owner's lack of concern and unwillingness to finish the full set despite being just 30 minutes before closing time. This demonstrates a disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of understanding of the importance of completing services within reasonable time frames. In another instance, a customer received a rushed pedicure service, indicating a lack of attention to detail and a focus on finishing services quickly rather than providing a quality experience.
Inconsistent pricing is another concern raised by customers. In one comment, a customer shared their experience of being initially quoted $8 for a fill-in service, but later being charged $28 without a clear explanation for the increase. This inconsistency in pricing creates confusion and distrust among customers, as they may be uncertain about what to expect and what they will be charged for specific services. Clear and transparent pricing is essential to building trust and maintaining customer satisfaction.
The quality of work at Rose Nails is also a weakness highlighted by several customers. Complaints range from unevenly applied polish, poorly cut nails, sloppy and rushed work, to the use of gel coatings without the customer's consent. These issues suggest a lack of attention to detail, proper training, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. For customers seeking professional nail care, such shortcomings can be disappointing and may discourage them from returning.
Further weaknesses include the lack of functionality and cleanliness at the salon. One customer reported encountering a broken pedicure chair and cold water in the tub, suggesting a lack of maintenance and attention to creating a comfortable and hygienic environment for customers. Hygiene and functionality are crucial aspects of any nail salon, and when these standards are not met, it can greatly impact customers' experiences and perception of the business.
Lastly, discriminatory attitudes towards customers were also mentioned in one comment. The statement indicating that the customer washes their hands too much after asking if they are Muslim showcases a biased and discriminatory perspective towards a specific religious group. Such behavior not only violates basic principles of inclusivity and respect but can also drive away potential customers from diverse backgrounds.
Despite these weaknesses, it is important to acknowledge any potential strengths of Rose Nails. Unfortunately, there were no comments highlighting positive aspects or strengths of the business. It is important for Rose Nails to address and rectify these weaknesses to improve customer satisfaction, promote inclusivity, and enhance the overall reputation of the salon. This could include implementing sensitivity training and diversity initiatives, improving customer service protocols, ensuring consistent and transparent pricing, investing in employee training, maintaining a clean and functional environment, and prioritizing quality work. By addressing these weaknesses, Rose Nails can work towards attracting and retaining a diverse and satisfied customer base.

One of Asian nail techs thinks that it’s appropriate to yell “NO n*gga” to someone on the phone in front of black customers. If you’re okay with non-black people using that word ,and thinking they can just cause they have a child with a black man this is the place for you….
The owner polished my toes at 5:50 PM - 6:15PM
Then Soaked my nails so I could get a full set. She finally came to check on me at 6:40PM she took the old nails off then asked can I come back tomorrow. It was 6:40, they didn’t close until 7.
You mean to tell me you own the place and couldn’t stay open 30 min pass your closing time to complete my full set. To ask a customer to come back tomorrow mid servicing is just unacceptable. This location will not get anymore of my money. She did not care either.
I went to Rose Nails on Sunday evening and received a horrible pedicure service. They left polish on the side and under my toes. The polish wasn't applied evenly on all toes. My toenails were cut uneven. This service was awful.
Please don't ever go to this nail shop. This is the worst service I've ever received. I went to get a fill in and the lady originally told me $8. My younger sister was with me and heard her say the exact same thing. I wanted a simple overlay and cut down with a color. She asked me did I want a clear coat or a gel coat and I told her CLEAR. Again my younger sister is sitting next to me listening to this conversation. My sister was also getting her nails done and she told her she would charge $20 so together it was $28. She said YES. She charged both my sister and I $28 a piece. Now I've been getting my nails done for a long time and I have NEVER paid $28 for a fill in. The picture I have below is exactly what my nails look like and it is NOT worth $28. Her work was sloppy and rushed through not to mention she gave me gel when I didn't ask for it. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I thought it was odd a nail shop near a busy mall was near empty on a Saturday afternoon, but I went in anyway.......... long story short, the older lady in the shop filled the pedicure tub with cold water and chose a chair that didn't work to do my service (ALL OF THE OTHERS WERE EMPTY). When I questioned the water temp and functionality of the chair, she says none of them work. If you don't want to serve obese people, just say that!
They rush. They did Pedicure in 5 minutes and I got a fill in overlay. He filed my nature nails down too low. I paid 95 dollars just to get. I would give a negative star but I don’t have that option.
This is the absolute worst manicure I’ve EVER had. And it was supposed to be for my WEDDING nails. Can you even tell what that is supposed to say?
0 stars! horrible service and anti Muslim (telling me I wash my hands too much after asking if I am Muslim)
