Quick Facts About State Farmers Market Restaurant
State Farmers Market Restaurant has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. One major strength is the quality of the food. The comments rave about the delicious country food, specifically highlighting the amazing biscuits, chicken and waffles, and various breakfast items. The food is described as tasty, cooked perfectly, and filling. Additionally, the restaurant offers a complimentary dessert, with the peach cobbler being a favorite among customers.
Another strength of the restaurant is the fast and kind service. Multiple comments mention the friendly and efficient wait staff, commending them for their quick service and attentiveness. The service is described as amazing, outstanding, and quick. The wait staff is also knowledgeable and helpful with menu recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Affordability is another strength of State Farmers Market Restaurant. With three people spending under $45, the restaurant is considered very affordable. This makes it an attractive option for families and individuals looking for a budget-friendly dining experience without compromising on quality food and service.
The ambiance of the restaurant is also a strength. The decor is mentioned as being fitting for a farmers market-themed restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is said to have a large seating capacity, with both indoor and outdoor options. This allows for options depending on customer preferences, whether they prefer sitting at a table or at the counter/bar.
One weakness mentioned in the comments is the potential for long wait times, particularly during the lunch rush between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. However, it is also mentioned that despite the wait, the food still comes out relatively fast. This indicates that the wait times may not be a significant issue and the quality of the food is worth the wait.
Another potential weakness could be the limited menu variety. While the comments praise the food, there is a recurring theme of customers ordering the same dishes repeatedly. This suggests that there may be a lack of diversity in the menu options, potentially limiting the dining experience for those who prefer more variety.
In conclusion, State Farmers Market Restaurant has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. The quality of the food, fast and kind service, affordability, and inviting ambiance are all noted as strengths by customers. While a potential weakness includes potential long wait times and a limited menu variety, the overall positive comments demonstrate that the strengths of State Farmers Market Restaurant outweigh these weaknesses, making it a highly recommended dining establishment.

Good country food, fast and kind service. AMAZING biscuits!!
If you get there and see a line outside do not panic it moves quickly and it is totally worth the wait.
We have tried multiple items. Their chicken and waffles is delicious. Their market boy omelette is very tasty and cooked perfectly, egg and cheese biscuit is delicious. They always have a small complimentary dessert and I look forward to their peach cobbler every time.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The food was so delicious. I ordered the baked chicken w stuffing and gravy. The biscuits and hush puppies are to die for. The food came out very quickly and our waiter Drew was very friendly and helpful with our questions. Love the decor as well. I will be returning to try other dishes.
First time there and I can't wait to go back. Best biscuits I've had in a long long time. Maybe ever. Had the Chicken Fried Steak and the gravy on it was exceptional! Waitress recommended fried green tomatoes with ranch and it was an A+ recommendation.
I look forward to going back and trying out more new things!
And price? 3 people came to under $45. Very affordable!
Fun and filling. Food is good, solid country cooking. Excellent sweet tea. I would take out of town friends and family here for a country cooking experience. This is what Cracker Barrel use to be. Top 50 in the area for sure. Big lunch rush but food comes out pretty fast.
If you go here between 11:00 and 1:30pm expect to wait in line. The food is excellent down home cookin'. The iced tea is made fresh and perfect strength. The biscuits and hush puppies basket that comes to every table are delicious. The pancake is big, has great flavor and the perfect tenderness. I'm not a big pancake person, but I always order them when I come here. I love the all day breakfast and usually get the same thing. Sausage gravy with biscuits home fries and 2 over easy eggs on top. The biscuit is fluffy and tender, the gravy has lots of flavor, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries delicious. The service was outstanding, friendly and fast. I never wanted for anything. The meals I saw at other tables looked great too. I keep thinking, next time I'll branch out, but I haven't yet... maybe next time
Went on a thursday morning 11am. Service was friendly, fast & attentive! Place was crowded with a line! Food was fresh with low salt content. Sat at the counter/bar (my preference). Approximately 75-85 tables inside & Approximately 20-25 outdoor with umbrella option!
Offered a small side of peach cobbler for free! Nice touch to the end of the service!
Been coming here for years and the service and food have always been consistent. Ambiance is fitting for this farmers market themed restaurant. The omelette is stacked with fresh crisp veggies and the right amount of cheesy. The BEC Sandwich made to perfection with a slice of cheese on both sides and bacon that had the perfect amount of crunch. Corned beef hash is always made to perfection and their biscuits are delectable. If you haven’t been, make plans to go on a weekend and after breakfast go check out what the farmers market has to offer!!
let me start off by saying the service is amazing here and my waitress was very quick and efficient. I had a homemade biscuit which was nice and firm on the outside but soft and flakey on the inside. Hot coffee and it wasn’t weak either. I ordered the two eggs with grits, rye toast and fried bologna it was very good. Side note I’ve never had red-eye gravy it is country ham drippings that was delicious mixed in with my grits. Will definitely be back. Also they open at 6AM which is a win.
