Quick Facts About Steven's Barber Shop

Steven's Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. Firstly, customers appreciate the convenience of not needing an appointment. This allows for spontaneous visits and caters to those who may not have a set schedule. Additionally, the shop's location being just blocks away from many residents is seen as a major advantage, making it easily accessible for customers.
The professional service offered at Steven's Barber Shop is highly praised. Customers describe feeling welcomed and respected, with an atmosphere that is friendly and familial. The staff is commended for their professionalism and ability to create a comfortable environment for both kids and adults. This is particularly noteworthy as not all barbershops are successful in catering to both age groups.
Cleanliness is another strength of Steven's Barber Shop. Customers consistently comment on the cleanliness and tidiness of the shop, which adds to the overall positive experience. A clean and well-maintained environment is essential for customers to feel comfortable and confident in the service they receive.
The skills of the barbers, particularly Steven and Manny, are highly regarded. Customers note that the quality of the haircuts they receive is exceptional and consistently on point. This level of skill and attention to detail is rare and contributes to the shop's positive reputation. Additionally, customers appreciate the fact that they can choose their preferred barber, further ensuring a satisfactory experience.
Steven's Barber Shop also benefits from having regular customers who have been loyal for years. This speaks to the shop's ability to consistently deliver a great haircut and maintain customer satisfaction. Regulars often mention the wait times during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings, but acknowledge that the wait is worth it due to the quality of the service.
Another strength mentioned is the shop's acceptance of credit cards and the ability to send receipts electronically. This modern convenience is appreciated by customers who prefer not to carry cash or need electronic records of their transactions.
While there are many strengths, there are also areas where Steven's Barber Shop can improve. One customer mentions that the price has increased over time, which may deter some potential customers. However, others argue that the quality justifies the price increase. The shop could potentially consider offering discounts or loyalty programs to address customer concerns regarding price.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the waiting time, despite having multiple barbers. This issue could be addressed by improving the efficiency of their operations and possibly hiring additional staff during peak hours to reduce customer wait times.
Lastly, one customer expressed concerns about the barbers being too rough, leading to cuts and irritation. This issue should be addressed through additional training or communication with barbers to ensure they are mindful of customer comfort and safety.
In conclusion, Steven's Barber Shop has numerous strengths that contribute to its positive reputation, including convenience, professional service, cleanliness, skilled barbers, and a loyal customer base. However, there are areas for improvement, such as pricing, wait times, and the gentleness of the barbers. By addressing these weaknesses, Steven's Barber Shop can further enhance its offerings and maintain its position as a highly recommended establishment.

Best Barber shop in Queens Village. Steven and Manny are great and the shop is clean and tidy.
I have been coming here since they opened and yes the price has gone up, but you get what you pay for. After going to many barber shop in the past and countless bad hair cut I drove by when they opened and came here and they fixed a bad hair cut and have been hooked ever since.
Alex is fantastic and I only go to him for my haircut and will continue to do so. Yes they're busy and lines are long on weekends, but that is normal with any good barbershop, so not sure why the negative reviews here.
If you are in the area of Queens Village you need to come to this place you won't be disappointed.
I've been coming to get my hair cut here for a few years. They have and keep their regulars much like myself because they do a great job. You may have to wait during the busy times such as the weekends and evenings, but they're worth the wait.
I appreciate the fact that they take credit cards and can send the receipt to my phone or email. Some places only take cash which is not my preferred method of payment.
I've taken my son here as well. He's a teenager, but I see that they do a good job taking care of smaller children as well.
One of my favorite place. I always visit here for my haircut. Alex is super. He always do whatever u wants. or he can cut your hair as per your face so that you look good. I am happy to have this nice Barber Shop in my neighbor. Thanks
I used to go here but I stopped. It used to be $12 but it went up to $14 or $15 and I didn't want to spend that kind of money. It was nice when I went there. The waiting area is nice with TV's and magazines to keep you entertained while you wait. One of the problems was the wait time, with 2 or 3 barbers at a time you think they would get through the customers fast but it wasn't the case. Barbers are very friendly, especially Steven. The only problem I had with the haircuts is that i would get cut a lot and butchered on the back of my neck. I would come home bleeding or severely irritated. If you do go, just tell them to try and lower their price back to $12 and be a little more gentle on the back neck area.
