Edit: Sunesy reached out and offered a full refund which I accepted. They also offered to fix my cut with their master stylist Manny, but I declined. I only have experience with one stylist so I can’t speak on behalf of the entire salon. I will say to be very thorough and communicative with what you want as there seems to be a large language barriers. Cantonese speaking helps with communication
I came here with almost two feet of hair and asked for long layers and face framing pieces. Vicky cut off a majority of my hair with short layers and made my front pieces all uneven. even my bangs were uneven and choppy! She told she could fix it but the only way was to cut it shorter. No way, I specifically told her I wanted to keep it long and even showed her reference photos and videos of what I wanted. She said she could do it. She did not. I’m extremely upset as I spent the past YEAR growing out my hair for her to cut it all uneven. Most stylist will check to see if their work is even and symmetrical, not Vicky. At the end she asked how I wanted it styled and I told her a lot of volume blow out. So she grabs the curling iron. I say no, the big round brush please. She starts with that but then switches to a small 1.5inch round brush to give me waves? I wanted a voluminous blow out. Not waves. There could be a language barrier issue, but I am using basic hair terms. Long layers. Volume blow put. Face framing.
I was looking for places that do haircuts and came across this place. I was happy with the pricing, so I walked in and got my haircut. I also got my hair shampooed and conditioned (it’s included with haircut). I am so happy with how Manny cut my hair. He did a fabulous fabulous job! He did exactly what I wanted him to do. My hair looks amazing and I’m so happy. This place is so great. I will definitely be coming back here again. I’m giving them a 5/5 rating for professionalism, price, customer service and their skills for cutting hair. I’ll recommend this place for anyone who is looking for reasonable priced haircuts.
I went for a haircut today February 16th. Alex did my haircut. First thing I noticed when I got back home was that he had cut part of my beard on my right side down to the bottom part of my ear without me asking and left the other side untrimmed.. But that's not all. He also used a faulty trimmer that left a lot of cuts on the back of my neck.
I only noticed it because of a burning sensation on the back of my neck.
I thought they were professional, but I was wrong.
I will NOT go back to that place.
Do yourselves a favor and don't go there.
I loved the place! The service was great, they wash your hair really good. Everything felt good and relaxing. Definitely recommend going at least once.
Got this salon recommended by someone and based on all the nice reviews I decided to give it a try. It might be one of my biggest regrets. I don’t usually like to complain but I just don’t want anyone to make the same mistake as I did. I asked for a haircut and subtle highlights (showed picture for reference). I ended up being basically blond with a horrible stripy root on the top of my head and through out my whole hair. The haircut was also very poorly done and felt like it was rushed. When I complained they offered to fixe it but I could just not trust them with my hair again. I got 50% of the money back which is I guess better than nothing but now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. On top of that my hair, that used to be pretty healthy, is now so so damaged of all the bleach. It is what it is, it’s hair and it grows out, but if you’ve considered going here, you might want to rethink.
I went there for a haircut, and highly recommend it. The price was reasonable and actually cheaper than other places with the same services, like wash, head massage, hair cut and deep conditioning treatment.
First, Vicky welcomed me and she took me to the place to wash my hair. I loved her head massage ????. I felt so relaxed and didnt want it to get finished. After washing my hair, she put hot towel on my forehead and neck, which was really good. Then she cut my hair and spend almost one hour cutting all those split ends and damaged hair. She was simply amazing! I would definitely come back!
I am very satisfied with this place, and Kenny is very friendly and helpful! I make a appointment for getting a weave perm, and Kenny suggested me not to perm because my hair was not very healthy. Finally I got my hair thinned, and got a blow dry. I can tell he is a very responsible hairstylist!
Don’t go there unless you want to be ripped off for a mediocre job. I called to confirm a short, regular perm for $138 and made the appointment. When I came for my appointment and got my hair washed, the owner, Manny, told me the cold perm would be $180 and the $138 was for men’s perm. I said fine since my hair was already washed and wet. My hair was just an inverted bob right below my chin so he didn’t do any trimming in the beginning. After everything was done, all he did was just probably a few clippings left and right, but they charged me additional $55 for that? I’m not the type of person who argues in public and they took advantage of that, I guess. The curls were much smaller, not like the picture I showed him and my hair became very frizzy because they didn’t use much conditioning products on it. Greedy and shady is all I can say.
