Quick Facts About Supercuts
Supercuts is a popular chain of hair salons that offers affordable haircuts and styling services. While there are positive comments about certain experiences at Supercuts, such as the convenience and speed of the service, there are also several negative comments that highlight the weaknesses of the salon.
One major weakness mentioned by multiple customers is the poor customer service and unprofessional behavior of the staff. There are complaints about rude and hostile workers, as well as receptionists who are preoccupied with personal matters and have an attitude towards customers. This kind of behavior creates a toxic environment for customers and can lead to dissatisfaction and frustration.
Another weakness is the inconsistency in the quality of haircuts. Many customers mention that the stylists do not listen to their requests or do not deliver the desired haircut. There are complaints about uneven cuts, missed spots, and a lack of attention to detail. This inconsistency makes it difficult for customers to trust Supercuts with their hair and can result in dissatisfaction and the need for additional grooming or correction at home.
Long wait times are also mentioned as a weakness of Supercuts. Despite customers calling ahead to ask about wait times, they still end up waiting for an extended period, sometimes up to an hour. This can be frustrating for customers who are looking for a quick and convenient haircut and may deter them from returning to Supercuts in the future.
One customer mentioned that the stylist at Supercuts stopped halfway through the haircut to write a check, which is unprofessional and shows a lack of focus and dedication to the customer. This kind of behavior can lead to rushed and subpar haircuts, leaving customers dissatisfied and feeling like their needs were not prioritized.
Despite these weaknesses, there are some strengths mentioned by customers. Some customers had positive experiences with certain stylists who were friendly, gentle, and quick in providing a satisfactory haircut. These customers appreciated the convenience and affordability of Supercuts and expressed their intention to return.
However, based on the negative comments and weaknesses mentioned by multiple customers, it is clear that the overall strength of Supercuts as a hair salon is questionable. The poor customer service, inconsistent haircuts, long wait times, and unprofessional behavior are significant drawbacks that overshadow the positive experiences of a few customers. Therefore, it is recommended to proceed with caution when considering Supercuts as a hair salon option and to explore other local salons or barbershops that may provide better service and quality.

I made an appointment for 10:30AM and I get an email at 10:00 saying appointment has been changed to 10. I hadn’t even left yet. I called and was greeted by a hostile worker who said sarcastically “come at 11:30.” Why allow appointments to be made if they will change them and notify you by email (which not everyone checks constantly). I’d rather drive farther away than deal with a toxic environment like this. Please avoid this location And frequent a local salon or barber unless desperate.
Nasty, rude and unprofessional people. Walked in for a walk in, sat down and after 5 minutes receive a phone call. One of the Barbers (tall, strange makeup lady) finishes with a customer and started loudly asking me what's my phone number. Lady clearly saw I was on the phone still persisted for 5 times to obnoxiously ask "whats my phone number". I always give supercuts a try and regret it... Long waits although I call ahead and specifically ask "is there a wait?" Only to end up waiting an hour. Long story short, go to carousel hair designers. Way better service for same price and much more attentive and friendly.
Asked for a basic #1 buzz cut all the way through. The girl cutting my hair did NOT do what I asked her to do. Haircut came out completely wrong. Had to shave off the rest of my hair when I got home. 35 dollars down the drain
I walked in to this local Super Cuts and was not greeted by reception. After I had requested a walk in haircut for my two kids, the receptionist was occupied with another matter about a lost phone and although I understood the importance of it, I politely asked it could be left for another time after I had been attended to first; unfortunately, the receptionist responded with attitude and I simply left dissatisfied.
Husband had gone in for a pretty basic haircut recently. He stated that he felt as if the woman doing it wasn't listening to what he asked for and explained, but it was too late to leave as she had already started the cut. After getting home and he showered, we both realized his hair is completely uneven, not blended properly on the sides and a small patch on his neck missed. I had to trim for him myself which is ridiculous after paying for a hair cut that looks like trash. Wow, yeah NOT returning again to this location. No reason to return if it can't even be done right the first time.
Got my haircut here yesterday 7-15-16...I asked for a simple cut. Long layers with long bangs. I was going to a wedding so I wanted my hair to look decent. My bangs were uneven, I had to go home and "fix" them myself which I didn't really fix cause I'm not a stylist, but I cut all the hairs that were lingering in front. It was busy when i first got there so I felt confident, but the whole time I was getting a cut everyone was talking and joking. I didn't really feel she was paying close attention to my hair. Also stopped halfway thru to write out a check to someone...I even had to brush forward my own bangs for her to cut cause apparently she didn't know what she was doing when I said long layers, long bangs...my bangs look horrible. Now I have to wait months for them to grow in. If I could I would give this place zero stars
It's fine. Was very convenient for the price but as prices has gotten higher and higher it's not worth it to go here over a regular barbershop. Haircuts are unfortunately always inconsistent. Have moved on to a different place and probably won't go back unless I am in a pinch.
Went here for a quick hair cut and was pleased. I guess the staff has changed since then. Amy was very nice and didn't ram the hair cutter into my head, she was rather gentle with it and the hair cut was rather quick (in a good way). Will definitely be back.
